Everyone was stunned, Shock, and lost for words.

"I don't believe this!" stunned Robin.

"Believe it! It happened." said Nate.

"You mean it almost happened. Thank God Dad and the others stopped in time before things got worst." said Tay.

"I can't believe those bastards would do such of thing." said upset Lizzie.

"Well the important that those creeps are in jail right where they belong." said Robin.

"Yes I those jerks get raped by their prison immate. That way they will see what it feels like." said Lulu.

"I just happy Cassie didn't get rape. I don't know what I would if they did." said Robin.

"I would personally kill them. Military style." said Nate.

"Me too!' said Tay.

"No man you got your future ahead of you. I don't want you do anything stupid. I used to attacking enemies." said Nate.

"Will you guys stop talking about rape and killing. I'm sick to my stomach." upset Lizzie.

"Be cool Lizzie! Cassie is safe now. She is in Charles good hands....Charles' good hands?!?!? I can't believe I just said that." shcoked Robin.

"Robin's right Cassie is safe now." said Andrew.

Lizzie thought about the time she was kidnapped. Cassie abduction brought back Lizzie's horrible memories.

"I can't deal with this right now. I'm going to my room. Thanks for the wonderful evening you guys. Andrew I'll call you tomorrow." said Lizze as she ran up crying to her room.

"Wow she is really shaken up." said Lulu.

"I better go talk to her." said Robin.

"No I'm her brother. I better go talk to her." said Nate.

"With all do respect Nate. I know Lizzie alot longer than you. So I better go talk to her. She'll listen to me." said Robin.

"Robin this is a family situation. Please you and Lulu take Andrew home and let me deal with Lizzie." said Nate.

"Well I'm practically family. That should count for something." said Robin.

"Robin please! I'm trying to be nice. Please take Andrew home." said Nate.

"But Nate!!!" snapped Robin.

"Boo he's right! This is a family situation. I think they need to be alone. So lets take Andrew home and call it a night." said Lulu.

"Fine whatever!" disappointed Robin.

"Thank you!" said Nate.

Robin and Lulu drove in the car with Andrew in silence all the way to Andrew‘s neighborhood.

All three of them were still stunned by the news they got about Cassie and had their own private thoughts about the matter.

Andrew was worried that his relationship with Lizzie would suffer if she remained so upset about Cassie. I hope Lizzie snaps out of it soon. We’re just starting to get along really well. She even let me feed her tonight AND spin her on top of my head!!

Lulu was worried about Cassie’s state of mind. I hope she’ll be alright to deal with the twins when she gets back……If not, I may have to help her out since I’m their godmother! And what about school? What if everyone saw the news and starts talking about her? Will she be able to handle it???? Lulu wondered to herself.

Robin was the most disturbed of them all. Hearing that Cassie had been molested brought back memories of their intimate moments together when they were on the cruise and later in San Diego at the motel.

Then he started thinking about his baby that she miscarried and the conversations he recently had with Jenn and Cassie on Thanksgiving.

And speaking of jerks, what’s up with Nate? Does he really think he can handle Lizzie? He’s a nut job himself---thanks to Afghanistan! I should’ve been the one to talk to Lizzie and Lulu should know that! How could she side with Nate? He thought to himself, hurt disappointed and angry all at the same time.

Robin was so engrossed in his thoughts that he drove right by Andrew’s street.

“Dude!!!” Andrew shouted, trying to snap Robin back to reality. “Make a left here!”

“Boo!!! Where ya goin?” Lulu also shouted when she realized where they were.

Robin jammed on the brakes.

“Sorry guys. I’ve got a lot on my mind,” he apologized as he started to back the car up.

"That's alright! We're still cool!" said Andrew.

"Here you are home!" said Robin.

"Alright thanks again for taking me and Lizzie on the double date. This is the best time of my life and I'm sure Lizzie had a great time as well." said Andrew.

"Ain't no big thing. I'm happy you two had a great time. I'm just disturbed to hear what has happened to Cassie." said Robin.

"We all are!" said Lulu.

"Andrew do me one big favor. When I head back to sea school please look after Lizzie. She's a sweet girl but she always feels so hurt and alone. She needs someone like you in her life." said Robin.

"Will do Robin as long as you keep in touch with her as much as Cassie." said Andrew.

"Will do!" said Robin.

The two fist pound and shook hands.

"Take care Andrew." said Lulu.

"You two Lulu." said Andrew leaving.

Robin and Lulu drove off. Meanwhile Nate had a talk with Lizzie.

Lizzie was on the bed facing the wall, curled up in the fetal position, crying quietly when Nate came in the room and sat next to her. He had never seen her so upset before. At first he just stroked her head gently, trying to put her at ease.

“Everything’s gonna be alright…..” he said softly, trying to comfort her.

After she wiped her eyes, she turned over on her back so that she could face him.

“I thought so too, Nate. But that’s just not true,” she said.

“What are you saying?” he asked.

“I have so many bad things going on in my head, Nate. Sometimes they go away and I think everything’s gonna be alright. But then when something bad happens---like what just happened to Cassie---or Johnny---or even what happened to you when you got hurt in Afghanistan---they come back. I feel like I’m going crazy sometimes. I don’t think I’ll ever be normal,” she worried.

“I have bad memories too, Lizzie. I remember when my fiancee died overseas when we were attacked,” he admitted.

“Does the memory keep coming back? Haunting you?” she asked, curious.

He nodded. “Yeah it does.”

“So how do you deal with it?” she wanted to know.

“I just let it run its course. I think it’s all a part of healing on the inside,” he said touching his heart.

“But what goes on in my head is horrible, Nate! I remember how those guys grabbed me out of my house and took me to that filthy crack house and had me all tied up like an animal. They kept telling me they were gonna kill me if my family didn’t pay up,” she remembered.

“I’m sorry you had to go through that, Lizzie.,” he sympathized.

“And I’m sorry Cassie had to go through it! From what the news reporter was saying, what happened to her was so much worse! Nate………….they wanted to rape her! OMG……” Lizzie said, horrified.

“Please don’t torture yourself like this, Lizzie. Don’t try to imagine what happened to Cassie,” he advised.

“But I can’t help it, Nate! I know firsthand how terrified she was! This guy, Soldier, he did nasty things to me too!” she continued tearfully.

“But now it’s over!” he tried to reason with her.

“Nate----”

“What is it?”

Lizzie sighed. “Never mind. You just don’t understand….”

“Maybe not Lizzie, but I just wanted you to know that I’m here for you. You don’t have to go through this alone. I may not understand what you’re going through, but I’m willing to go through it with you anyway. I’m your big brother and I love you and you don’t have to deal with this stuff alone,” he assured her.

Lizzie managed a little smile. “Thanks, big brother,” she said as she hugged him.

“Remember when Reverand Kingston attacked my Mom and she was so upset?” he reminded her.

“Yeah, for a while Dana was really messed up after that….” Lizzie remembered.

“But she told me you’re the one that helped her get her head back on straight.”

“She told you that?” Lizzie asked.

“She sure did. How did you help my Mom?” he wanted to know.

Lizzie thought back to her conversation with Dana, trying to remember what advice she gave.

“Well?” Nate persisted.

“I told her to pray,” Lizzie finally remembered.

“Sounds like good advice to me,” he said as he gave her a look of confidence.

Then he got off of her bed and knelt down on the floor.

“What are you doing?” she asked.

He held his hand out to her. “Kneel down with me. We’re gonna pray together,” he told her.

Hesitantly, she took his hand, got out of bed and knelt down next to her brother.

He put his arm around her shoulders and held her close to him as he started to pray out loud.

Lizzie listened carefully to Nate as he talked to God. The things he said and the way he said them touched her deeply and made her feel like a great weight was suddenly being lifted off of her.

“Amen,” he finally said.

“Amen,” she repeated.

They got off of the floor and looked at each other, not saying a word, until Lizzie gave Nate a big hug.

“I love you, Nate.”

He smiled. “I guess that means I did good, huh?” he asked as they embraced.

“You pray real nice,” she said.

“Thanks. I hope it works,” he replied.

“Nate, it’s working already,” she assured him. “I feel a lot better.”

He kissed the top of her head.

“Since you’re feeling better, try to get some sleep. It’s late,” he advised as he turned to leave the room.

“Okay,” she agreed. “I’m gonna try to dream about our double date tonight.”

“And tomorrow you can tell me all about it,” he added. “Goodnight.”

“Thanks, Nate. Good night.”

Soon Lizzie was undressed and fast asleep in bed, dreaming about the Salsa Club.

Meanwhile as Eddie and Jenn left the hotel and everything got settled, Charles did something he hadn't ever done before...he prayed.

"I don't know how to do this but people just tell me to get on my knees and start talking. So... here I am, thanking you for saving Cassie (glancing at her resting peacefully in the bed). I don't know what I would have done without her. If those bitches...I'm sorry...I mean idiots, if thats more appropriate, had harmed her I would have to kill myself before living without her. I know we don't have the best connection, but from today I know that you do truly exsit. Thanks again", as he got off his knees and gently slided into the bed next to Cassie.

"That was beautiful," whispered Cassie half-awake.

"Thanks how long you've been listening?" asked Charles.

"Long enough to know that you are truly the one. And I am happy I'm marrying you. U really are my knight and shiny armor." said Cassie.

"Not to mention prince charming." said Charles as he joked atlittle.

"Yeah that too." said Cassie as she smile a little.

"How do you feel?" asked Charles.

"Violated! I can't believe those bastards were licking my face! Eeeewww." I spent hours in the bathtub scrubbing myself. I just feel sick." said Cassie as tears rolling down her face.

"Don't worry about those creeps. They won't hurt you anymore. You will get pass this." said Charles.

"I don't if I can Charles. I don't think I'll ever forget this." said Cassie.

"You get through this beautiful. We'll both get through this together. We've been through so much. We are this close to getting married and happy together and I'm not going to let something like this take that away from us. I'm there for you always. I'll do anything for you just name it. I can make the pain go away. Let me make love to you." said Charles.

"I don't I want to do that Charles.' said Cassie.

"Alright...what do you want me to do?" wonder Charles.

"Just hold me! Hold me for awhile. I want to feel protected.

"Sure thing!" said Charles as he held Cassie.

"I love Cassie Sutton," as Chales tenderly whispered in Cassie's ear.

"I love you Charles Antoni. Thank you for being my superhero," as Cassie passionately kissed him.

Charles grinned as they drifted to sleep, warmly embraced in eachothers arms.

Meanwhile Lulu was concered about Robin's distant attitude.

"Baby are you okay? I know you worried about Cassie, but everythings alright now. You can always talk to me if somethings wrong," said Lulu as she sat next to him and gently rubbed his back.

Robin stood up abruptly. "I just need to get some sleep is all. I guess I'm beat from all of that dancing."

He forced a phony smile and kissed Lulu quickly on the cheek before hurrying upstairs to his room.

Meanwhile back in Hawaii.....Charles fell asleep with Cassie snug in his arms and she fell back asleep too. All night they slept that way.

The next morning when they woke up in their beautiful room, they showered and got dressed.

They had the TV on, but when the news report started talking about Cassie’s abduction, Charles quickly turned it off.

“Thanks,” she said, giving him a grateful glance as she fixed her hair in the mirror.

“Nothing else is gonna ruin this vacation for us,” he promised.

Just then there was a knock on the door. Her nerves still on edge, Cassie jumped and dropped her hair brush, gasping and looking at Charles fearfully.

“Just a sec!” Charles shouted as he picked up the brush and handed it to her. “Don’t worry, Beautiful. I’ll get the door this time,” he told her.

When he opened it, Cassie let out a sigh of relief when she saw that it was room service.

“Wow! Where did all of this come from?” Charles asked as he held the door open for the server.

“This is a special breakfast for the honeymooners, compliments of the Manager!”

A table with a white tabelcloth was wheeled into the room with covered trays of food, juice, coffee, tea and a beautiful centerpiece of exotic Hawaiian flowers.

“OMG…..” Cassie said in amazement.

“Would you like to sit outside on the balcony?” the server asked.

Chassie looked at each other and Charles shrugged. “Sure, I guess,” he finally answered making the decision.

The server wheeled the table out onto the large balcony and made sure they were seated comfortably outside for breakfast before leaving them alone.

“This is like a dream, Charles!” Cassie said unable to believe the deluxe treatment.

Charles laughed, glad to see her happy.

“Let’s see what they made us for breakfast,” he suggested as he lifted the cover off of one of the trays.

“Mmmm…….” he said at the aroma of breakfast meat.

Cassie lifted the cover from another tray, revealing all kinds of fresh, ripened fruit. She licked her lips and rubbed her hands together.

“Let’s dig in!” Charles suggested eagerly.

As Cassie and Charles sat outside on the balcony eating their breakfast, the warm, tropical air felt refreshing and they could see a faint rainbow in the distance over the ocean.

"Feel better beautiful?" asked Charles.

"I'm started to yes." said Cassie.

"You think you want to go out?" asked Charles.

"Lets stay inside. It's so peaceful here." said Cassie.

"Alright then lets continue to eat." said Charles.

"Shh! Not another word. Lets not spoil it by talking." said Cassie.

"Anything you say beautiful." said Charles as he wrapped his arms around Cassie.

The two continue to watch the rainbow as they ate.

Then Charles thought to himself. "You know someone up there must really love us. Because Cassie and I been through so much.

Meanwhile Eddie called Nate to check on how's everything going.

“Dad. You woke me up,” Nate told Eddie.

“I wanted to let you know how everything turned out and see how you’re doing,” Eddie replied.

“We all saw the news last night, Dad. We know Cassie’s safe and sound and you helped rescue her,” Nate explained.

“I didn’t realize it was on the news,” Eddie replied. “How did the kids take it?”

“Lizzie took it the worst, but we were all upset. We’re coming to grips with the situation now though,” Nate answered.

“Well thanks for holding down the fort, son. We’ll be home later today. We decided to crash with Marla in her suite over night. Jenn was too tired to travel,” Eddie explained.

“When you get back, maybe you can clear some things up about all of this,” Nate said.

Eddie grunted. “I doubt that. There’s a lot I don’t understand myself. And to be honest, I just want to put it all behind us. As long as Cassie’s okay---that’s the main thing.”

“She’s coming back with you and Jenn, right?” Nate asked.

“No. The resort is letting Charles and Cassie stay as long as they want---all expenses paid.”

“No kidding?”

“I’d say those kids deserve it with all that they’ve been through. Wouldn’t you?” Eddie asked.

“Yeah, that’s for sure. The resort needs to throw in a free bodyguard as well,” Nate joked.

Eddie chuckled. “After this experience, I’m sure Charles will be all the bodyguard Cassie ever needs!”

Meanwhile, at Monica’s house, Robin is in his bed staring at the ceiling unable to sleep.

Soon Robin heard a knock on the door and it was Lulu.

"Oh hey!" said Robin.

"Robin we really need to talk." said Lulu.

"About what!?!" asked Robin.

"The way you treated me after we dropped off Lizzie and took Andrew. You hardly spoke to me when drove back. What is going on? What did I do Robin?" upset Lulu.

"How could you take Nate Ray side?" angered Robin.

"What the hell are you talking about? I didn't take anybody side." offended Lulu.

"You know what I meant." said Robin.

"No I don't!" said Lulu.

"The situation with Lizzie. I should've been the one talking to her not Nate and you know that!" said Robin.

"Robin that is Lizzie's brother for crying out loud. Lizzie needs her big brother right now." said Lulu.

"Look I promise Lizzie I'll be there for her." said Robin.

"Robin I think it is real that you being good friends with Lizzie, but Nate just got back from service he need his famly more than ever. Especially when he is not in the right state of mind." said Lulu.

"That just it! He's not in his right mind. You saw him the way he freaked out about the camera. I have read and heard alot about soldiers suffer from post war sydrome whatever you call it. They do alot of crazy things. And I am worry. I don't want anything happening to Lizzie or Tay. Nate can be a great danger to them not to mentioning himself." said Robin.

"Robin, Nate is getting helped. Cassie told me about. It's a slow process but Nate is getting better." said Lulu.

"Well it still would've been nice as my fiancee' you would took my side. You know Nate and I don't get along." annoyed Robin.

"Robin it's not about taking sides. It's about doing what is best. And Lizzie needs to be with family. Nate is their family now. But Lizzie will always love you. And I don't what's going on between you and Nate but you two have to find a way to co exist." said Lulu.

"Whatever Lulu...Night!" said Robin.

"Robin tomorrow is our last day at Lincoln Heights please don't ruin it for us." said Lulu.

Soon Monica walked in.

"Hey it's late what are you two still doing up?" asked Monica.

"Nothing just heading to bed." said Lulu going to bed upset.

Monica could sense there was a problem, but wasn’t sure who she should talk to---her son or Lulu.

She thought back to her conversation with Robin before and remembered he told her he wasn’t a little boy anymore.

Robin wants his space, so I’ll give it to him, she decided as she closed his bedroom door and followed Lulu down the hall.

“Lulu, honey, you seem upset. Would you like to talk?” Monica asked.

Lulu sat on the side of her bed, looking sad.

“Miss Monica, it seems like I’m always dumping my problems on you…..” she sighed.

Monica sat next to her. “It’s okay--I don’t mind. What’s bothering you?”

“Did you see the late night news?” Lulu asked.

Monica looked puzzled. “No. Why?” she asked worried.

“Cassie and Charles went to Hawaii and Cassie was abducted from her hotel room!” Lulu told her.

Monica immediately understood why Robin and Lulu were both upset.

“That’s terrible! Did they find her yet?” Monica asked, also upset.

Lulu nodded. “Yes. She was missing for several hours, hidden away in some cave! It was horrible, Miss Monica! She hardly had any clothes on! The creeps were gonna rape her on the internet but thank God they got caught before it happened! They even tried to get $20 million bucks for ransom!”

Monica gave Lulu a hug. “I’m so sorry your friend had to go through that….”

Lulu fought back the tears. “And the worst part is, me and Robin and Lizzie were out partying and having a good time while it was going on!”

“You can’t blame yourself, Lulu. You thought Cassie was having fun in Hawaii with Charles. You didn’t know she had been kidnapped,” Monica consoled her.

“I still feel bad. I haven’t even talked to Cassie yet!” Lulu explained.

“I’m sure she’ll understand. She needs time to get over it anyway.”

“And now Robin is mad at me!” Lulu continued.

“Mad at you? Why?”

“Because Lizzie was upset when she found out about Cassie and Robin wanted to spend time with her, but I told him that it was a family matter and that Lizzie’s brother Nate could deal with her. Robin thinks I was siding with Nate, but I wasn’t---not really. It seemed like they were gonna fight over Lizzie and I was just trying to squash it before it got heated,” Lulu said.

Monica frowned.

“That son of mine,” she sighed. “He’s always trying to save the world!”

“Tomorrow’s our last day here and I don’t want him upset with me, Miss Monica!” Lulu whined.

“Let him sleep it off,” she advised. “And you get some sleep too.”

“Thanks for listening,” Lulu said as Monica left the room.

"That's terrible what has to Cassie but I really hope Robin doesn't go back and think that there is chance with Cassie. Why does Robin always try to be hero?" wonder Monica to herself.

Meanwhile Lulu was going back to her room until she ran into Devin.

"Devin please! I am in no mood for you. It is late and I am tired." said Lulu.


"Lulu please I really I want to apologize for what I said. I really didn't meant what I said earlier." said Devin.

"Devin don't give me that Bull!!!" snapped Lulu.

"I'm serious and to be honest I don't know that much spanish. Matter of fact I can't speak language. I just know a few words. I really want us to be friends that's all. So I'm sorry if I rub you the wrong. Good night!" said Devin going to bed.

"Devin wait!" said Lulu.

"What!" said Devin.

"(Sigh) Maybe I have overreacted just a bit. But if you really meant what you said maybe we can work on being friends." said Lulu.

"That's great can I get a hug?" asked Devin.

"(Sigh) I suppose! Come on." said Lulu reluntantly.

The two of them but Devin was getting too comfortable.

"Wow Lulu really turning me on." said Devin getting excited.

"Urggh Get off of me you perv!!!" said Lulu as shoved him off.

Then Lulu went to her room and slammed it shut.

"What I say?" confused Devin.

In San Diego, Nurse Kate sat in the nurses lounge, captivated by the news report she was watching on the television set about Cassie‘s abduction. The other nurses noticed her odd behavior.

“Kate? Do you know that girl that got kidnapped in Hawaii?” one of the other nurses asked.

“Shhh!!!!” Kate replied, waving her hand in an irritated manner. “I’m trying to hear this!”

“Sorry…..” the nurse replied as she watched along with Kate.

Soon the report was over and the commercial came on.

“So like I said before Kate, do you know that girl???” she asked again.

Kate nodded slowly, looking sad. “She was a patient here awhile back and we got really close. I even visited with her and her family a few weeks ago in Lincoln Heights.”

“That’s terrible---what happened to her,” the nurse commented.

“I know. She’s been through so much! She’s a teen mom--with twins!” Kate said.

“Tsk, tsk, tsk. What a shame….”

“I hope she’ll be alright,” Kate worried.

“Are you gonna call her?” the other nurse asked.

Kate hesitated. “I dunno. It might be too soon…” she said with uncertainty.

“Kate, you have a way about you that no one else has. That’s why you’re the favorite nurse in this hospital--you know that! I say you should give that young lady a call. I’m sure she’d appreciate hearing from you,” her co-worker said persuasively.

Kate sighed. “Thanks for saying that. It’s not true, but thanks for saying it,” she smiled.

The nurse picked Kate’s cell phone up from the coffee table and handed it to her. “Call!”

"Alright here it goes." said Kate.

Meanwhile back at Hawaii...

"Wow that was some breakfast." said Charles being full.

"Yeah I can't eat another bite." said Cassie.

"Sound like you are getting your appetite back." said Charles.

"Yeah...thanks to you." said Cassie.

"Feel like going outside.?" asked Charles.

"I don't know Charles." said Cassie.

"Cassie sooner or later you have to go out and see the outside world. You can't be cooped up in the hotel forever." said Charles.

"Charles I'm scared! Just give me time okay." said Cassie.

"ALright but I'm here fore you. We will both get through thistogether." said Charles.

"You are so good to me Charles." said Cassie.

Suddenly the cellphone rang. Cassie picked up and answer it.

"Hello?" answered Cassie.

"Hey Cassie it's me Kate!" she answered.

“Kate?” Cassie responded sounding uncertain.

“Yes! Kate! From San Diego County Hospital!” Kate reminded her.

“Oh……….Kate,” Cassie replied unenthused.

“Sounds like this might not be such a good time, huh?” Kate said, regretting that she called.

“It’s okay. It’s good to hear from you, Kate. I’m sorry---a lot has happened and I’m not myself,” Cassie explained.

“I know, Cassie. That’s why I’m calling---I saw the news and I was just so worried about you!”

“Thanks for that,” Cassie said.

Soooooooooo……….how ARE you?” Kate asked.

“Oh, I’m feeling safe now --- thanks to Charles. He never leaves my side. We just finished having breakfast on the balcony, and it was delicious,” Cassie said.

“So you’re still in Hawaii?”

“Yes. And they’re being so nice to us here. We can stay as long as we want--for free!”

“Well I’m glad to hear they’re taking good care of you, Cassie,” Kate said, relieved.

“They are,” Cassie assured her.

“And the twins? How are they?” Kate inquired.

Cassie hesitated. “The twins?”

“Uh huh……THE TWINS,” Kate repeated. “How are your babies?”

Cassie was quiet for a while.

“Cassie??? Are you still there???” Kate asked, thinking the connection had ended.

Cassie broke down on the phone.

“OMG, Kate……I haven’t thought anything about my babies since this happened to me!! What kind of mother am I???” she cried softly.

Charles who had been standing at the balcony ledge enjoying the beautiful view, noticed Cassie was getting upset and rushed to her side, taking the phone from her.

“Hello? Who is this?” he demanded.

“It----it’s Kate!” she replied nervously.

“Kate?! What did you say to my Cassie? She’s crying!” Charles accused.

"Nothing I just asked about the twins and she didn't answered. I didn't mean to answer her." said Kate.

Charles finally calmed down.

"Don't worry it's not your fault. Cassie been through alot." said Charles.

"I just want to be a friend." said Kate.

"I know Kate. You meant well. We are all worry about her. Tell you what try calling Cassie when she feeling a little bit better. I'm sure she'll touch bases with you when she is in the best state of mind." said Charles.

"Alright Charles. You'll keep me posted?" asked Kate.

"Sure! I promise you Cassie will be back to normal in no time...I hope." said Charles.

Soon Charles had Dana on the phone.

“Charles! I’m so glad you guys decided to call! The twins have been asking for you, Jenn, Eddie, Marla, Lizzie…… They’re not as used to me as the rest of you guys!” Dana told him.

“Sorry Dana. I hope they’re not giving you too much trouble,” Charles apologized.

“Oh no! No trouble! It’s just that I don’t know what to tell them is all. And I’ve gotta keep the TV off in case the news pops up with Cassie’s story, you know.”

“Yeah, that’s been happening,” Charles agreed. “Listen, Cassie and I would really like to talk to the twins.”

“Sure Charles! No problem. Hold on while I run upstairs,” Dana said.

Charles handed Cassie the phone.

“Dana’s gonna put the twins on in a second,” he told her.

Cassie clutched the phone to her ear and when she finally heard Kalie’s voice’s her face lit up.

“Mommy????”

“Kalie baby?! Hi baby! I miss you!” Cassie said.

“Me too, Mommy!! Where are you? Where’s Daddy?” Kalie asked.

“We’re in a beautiful place called Hawaii!” Cassie answered.

“Are you being good?” Kalie asked.

Cassie laughed. “Yes, baby, we’re being VERY good! Are you and Colin being good???”

“Yes, Mommy. We’re at Grandma’s house with Dana!”

“Where’s Grandma Marla and Grandma Jenn and Grandpa?” Kalie asked.

“They’re here with us in Hawaii. But they’ll be back soon!” Cassie replied.

“When are you coming back, Mommy?” Kalie whined.

“Me and Daddy will be back soon too,” she promised.

“Oh. Okay!“ Kalie agreed.

“Hold on, Kalie, I’m putting Daddy on,” Cassie told her as she passed the phone to Charles.

“Where’s Colin? Put him on,” Charles said.

“Fine. I got a new truck,” he told his father.

“Cool. I can’t wait to see it!”

“Hi Mommy,” he said. “I got a new truck.”

Cassie laughed. “That’s nice Colin. Try not to break it, okay?”

“Okay,” he agreed..

“I love you!” Cassie told her son.

“Bye Mommy,” he said as he handed the phone to Dana.

“Cassie? Girl, how are you doing?” Dana asked, glad to hear her voice.

"Much better now that I know the twins are alright." said Cassie.

"How are you holding up?" asked Dana.

"I'm fine but I'm still a bit shaken up. I afraid to go outside right now." said Cassie.

"Cassie I know you been through a rough experience but you can't lock yourself in like a bubble. Life is way too short to not to enjoy it." said Dana.

"I know but everytime I hear a doorbell or I'm alone I freak out." said Cassie.

"Cassie you are a very strong young woman. I know that. You can beat this. You just have to try to fight it off." said Dana.

"Dana you just don't know what those creeps almost did to me. I get sick just thinking about it." said Cassie.

"Cassie listen to me you are in a beautiful place with a great man that will take a bullet for you. I know it's hard but the best thing for you is to put it behind you and enjoy life otherwise those bastards will have the last laugh." said Dana.

"Alright I'm going to try. I better call Kate back." said Cassie.

"Yeah..I"m feeling much better. i'm going call back Kate really quick, and how about we go take a stroll downtown," said Cassie putting on a tough face.

"You sure beautiful? I don't want you to push yourself. I'm fine staying in this room with you," said Charles as he gently caressed her cheek.

"I'm sure Charles. I want us to have some fun while we're here. I promise I'm okay," said Cassie as she went into another room and dialed Kate's number.

Cassie called Kate back, but Kate was busy in the Emergency Room and the call went to voice mail and Cassie left a message:

“Kate, it’s me, Cassie. I just wanted to thank you for calling and checking on me and also I wanted to apologize if I seemed……well……..kind of distant. Please don’t take it personal. It’s me----not you. But I’m really gonna try to get over this and be myself again, so don’t give up on me, Kate. Call me back when you’re not too busy----please? Bye!”

“Do you feel better now that you spoke to the twins?” Charles asked as he massaged Cassie’s shoulders.

Cassie nodded. “Yeah, I do.”

“That’s good,” Charles replied.

Cassie could tell he was getting restless from hanging around the hotel room all morning.

“Dana said life’s too short to be afraid,” Cassie continued.

Charles stayed quiet, not wanting to say the wrong thing.

“She’s right, Charles. We’re here and we’ve got to make the best of it. We already lost precious time thanks to those fools!”

“Soooooo……….?” He was afraid to get his hopes up too soon.

“SOOOOOO----let’s get out!” Cassie replied as she jumped up from the bed..

Meanwhile back at Monica's house, Monica went downstairs to make breakfast and she saw Robin watching the news about Cassie abduction.

"OMG Robin you are still watching that? Turn that off!!!" said Monica.

Robin switch to another news channel with same stuff.

"Oh for crying out loud!!!" snapped Monica as she turned off the televsion.

"MOM WHAT THE HELL!?!?!" snapped Robin.

"These news are depressing. You don't need to waatch stuff like that. What have you been up all night?" asked Monica.

"I'm sorry but that all they talked about. And yes I've been up all night. I can't sleep after what has happened. I could those guys for what they almost did to my gir---I mean to Cassie." angered Robin.

"Wait a minute for a second there I thought you said your girl." said Monica.

"I didn't mean anything like that mom." said Robin.

"Robin there is no need to get upset. Cassie is safe and she is with Charles." said Monica.

"I know but right now she needs her family and Charles. There are certain you can't handle. You need to worry about your own problems." said Monica.

"Like what?" asked Robin.

"Working on your wedding plans with LUlu, college, and how to get back to sea school. Are you going to take the plane this time?" asked Monica.

"I'm taking the same way I got to Sea School. Bus and train." said Robin.

"Robin that is too long!" said Monica.

"Mom I'm not going on that plane again." said Robin.

"Robin you have to flying again." said Monica.

"Mom please I feel safer not flying a plane." said Robin.

"My God this has affected than I thoughtt. Sweetie Travis and I have been talking about the incident and there are places for you to get help." said Moinca

Meanwhile back at Hawaii Cassie got a return call from Kate.

"Hey Cassie." Said Kate.

Kate you called back! Look I'm sorry if I got emotional earlier." said Cassie.

"That's okay Cassie. I understand. It can happened to anybody. I wouldn't be in the mood either if I was in that situation." said Kate.

'Thanks for understanding Kate. Charles and I are going to for a walk." said Cassie.

"Are you sure you up to it?" asked Kate.

"I think so." said Cassie.

"Alright but take it slow. You've been through a horrible experience." said Kate.

Cassie took Kate's advice and took it slow, walking hand-in-hand with Charles around the Resort grounds.

"Look, Cassie," Charles said as he pointed up ahead, "another rainbow!"

"I guess that's why they call this Paradise," she reflected. "No rain, but mad rainbows---go figure!"

Charles chuckled, happy she at least showed signs of a sense of humor.

As they continued walking, they noticed a flyer hanging from the trunk of a palm tree and stopped to read it.

"It says there's gonna be a Luau tonight," Charles remarked, reading.

"Do you want to go?" Cassie asked him.

"Without you? No way, Cassie!" he replied.

"No silly----WITH me. Wanna go?" she repeated with a little smile.

Her suggestion took Charles by surprise, and his face lit up.

"Sure! But------Cassie, don't rush yourself----not on my account," he cautioned her.

She shook her head. "No. Really. I wanna go, Charles. It'll be fun!" she told him as they gazed at the flyer a bit longer.

"Okay, as long as you're up to it," he agreed. "It starts at 8, so we've got plenty of time."

Meanwhile, Marla is looking out of her window and sees Chassie strolling hand-in-hand along the Resort grounds.

"I was kinda figured where the Suttons was staying then I got word that you were coming here often. How can you afford it it's be beyond me." said Wes.

"The only reason I'm here is because of Charles and Cassie." said Marla.

Meanwhile Eddie and Jenn was on the airplane heading back to Lincoln Heights. Jenn was really worry about Cassie.

"For you to even hint that you may need counseling says a lot to me, Eddie. And if you feel that way, by all means, go for it," she encouraged him.

"What about you Jenn? You've gone through everything I've gone through. Are you sure you're alright?" he asked, concerned.

"I can't think about that now, Eddie. I'm focused on you and Cassie," she replied.

"Well, you might want to throw your other daughter into the mix as well," he advised.

"Nate said she took Cassie's kidnapping the hardest out of everyone," he informed her.

"Look Cassie may do alot of crazy things but she is still your daughter. And now that she's 18 and engaged it time to let her stand on her two feet. You keep her a little girl anymore." said Jenn.

"That's what I'm afraid of. Well atleast I got Lizzie." said Eddie.

"In case you haven't notice Eddie, our lil Lizzie is growing up as well. She's becoming quite a young woman." said Jenn.

Before she reached her room as she turned the corner, Lizzie collided with her brother Tay.

"Dang Lizzie!!!! Watch where you're goin!" he shouted, annoyed, trying to catch his balance.

Then he noticed that she was crying.

"Hey!!! What's wrong, Lizzie?" he asked as she continued on to her room.

She didn't answer so he made an aboutface and followed her.

"Lizzie, if you're upset about Cassie----she's gonna be okay!" he said trying to make her feel better.

Lizzie threw herself onto her bed, sobbing.

"Aw maaaaaan, Lizzie........come on------cut it out," Tay pleaded feeling very uncomfortable with all of the emotion.

She tried to pull herself together, but it was hard.

"I-------I'm------n---n----n--not--------c--c--c----crying--------a--a-----about---------C------C-------C-------Cassie!" she managed to blurt out.

"Well then what?!" Tay demanded, slightly irritated.

"D-----D-----Devin!!!" she said angry and hurt.

"Devin???" Tay's curiosity started to get the best of him. "I thought you were into Andrew?"

Lizzie took a deep breath, blew her nose and wiped her face.

"What should I do? Cassie is with Charles in Hawaii that sucks. I have already hung out with Lizzie and Andrew. What should I do?" wonder Robin to himself.

"Well you could start by apologizing to me." said Lulu walking in.

"Oh morning Lulu." said Robin.

"Morning is that all you have to say to me? Robin are you happy being with me? I really want to know." said Lulu.

"Lulu you know I do." said Robin.

"Well you so don't act like it sometime." said Lulu.

"Lulu if it about last night I'm sorry. The whole Cassie situation just got me upset." said Robin.

"Look I have always been there for Lizzie you know that. Nate barely knows her." said Robin.

"Nate wants to know Lizzie, Tay and the rest of his newfound family alot better. Don't you see that?" snapped Lulu.

He caught up to her before she could get into her room, spun her around and grabbed her around the waist so that she wouldn’t go in and slam the door in his face.

“I thought you had to take Orianthi’s call so bad?!” Lulu taunted Robin as she struggled to get away from him.

“It’s not worth getting you all upset, Lulu. Just calm down, will you?” he said, refusing to let go of her as she struggled in vain to break free from his grasp.

“Robin, let me go! I mean it!!” she protested angrily trying to pry his arms off of her waist.

Robin laughed a little, slightly amused by the hard but useless fight Lulu was putting up.

“I’m serious, Robin!! Let go of me!!” she warned as she twisted and turned, pounding his chest with her small fists, trying to get out of his arms.

“For a petite young woman, you’re pretty strong!” he teased her, refusing to give in to her.

After a few more unsuccessful attempts, Lulu finally started getting tired and stopped putting up a fight.

“Did you get it all out of your system?” Robin asked with a slight smirk on his face, still holding her tight around the waist.

Defeated and embarrassed, Lulu said nothing as she stared at the floor.

“Look at me, Lulu,” he told her as he lifted her chin with his finger until their eyes met.

“I love you,” he continued softly. “I’m not perfect, but I love you. Sometimes I do stupid stuff, but I love you. I get upset with you --- yeah--- but that’s because I love you. Just because I talk to another girl -- Cassie -- Lizzie -- Orianthi -- that doesn’t mean I don’t love you. So please, stop putting yourself through all of this stress for no reason, Lulu. Stop putting US through all of this stress. You have nothing to worry about where I’m concerned. I don’t know how else to spell it out to you.”

For a few seconds Lulu remained quiet as Robin’s words sunk in.

“Oh Boo…..that was so romantic,” she finally swooned.

Soon the two went into the room and started making passionate love.

Meanwhile at the Rev. Tay had a bit of a chat with Devin.

And no offense Devin after the earthquake you havent been around much. I mean you moved back to Chicago for awhile and then you back to live with your father and now you living with Robin's mother. You hardly touch bases with Lizzie. Lizzie is old trenchcoat you can hang up and comeback later. He life does goes on. I'm afraid it's something you have to learn and get over." said Tay.

"I guess you right! I guess was really nasty to her huh?" said Devin.

"No you think?" asked Tay sarcasticly.

"Sorry man!" said Devin.

"Don't aopologize to me! Apologize to Lizzie. I mean you got her crying and blubbering all over me and everything. She's has messed up my new shirt. I was going to where that to perform tonight at the Rev." said Tay.

“Oh Charles! I’m not wearing a grass skirt! That’s for the hula dancers to wear!”

Charles pouted, playfully. “What? No grass skirt? That’s not fair!”

“Charles, I’ll wear one if YOU wear one!” she dared him.

“Me? In a grass skirt???? RUH ROH!!” Charles gulped, impersonating Scooby Doo.

Suddenly Wes appeared.

"Hey I see soemone is very cheerful." said Wes.

"Yes I'm feeling much better." said Cassie.

"That's good to hear. I'm glad to see that smile on your face." said Wes.

"We're going to the luau tonight. Charles wants to me wear a grass skirt. But I will only do it if Charles wears one." said Cassie.

"I think I'll pass." said Charles.

"Whatever Cassie wears is fine by me." said Charles.

"Of course! That is one of the reason why I'm hear." said Cassie.

“Charles, while we’re on the subject of clothing, do you have a Hawaiian shirt?” Cassie asked as they continued walking along the beach.

“No, I don’t. Why?” he asked.

Cassie started pulling him by the hand up towards the boardwalk.

“We’ve gotta get you a Hawaiian shirt for the Luau,” she told him excitedly.

“Oh no…..” he moaned, lagging behind as she tugged on his arm. “You mean we’re going SHOPPING???”

Cassie pulled harder. “Come on, Charles! YES! Let’s go shopping!”

They spent the next two hours going in and out of each shop on the boardwalk in search of the perfect Hawaiian shirt.

“Cassie---you don’t really expect me to wear this thing, do you?” he asked, holding up a purple shirt with tiny yellow pineapples all over it

Cassie grinned from ear to ear. “Oh, it’s just PERFECT! You HAVE to wear it!” she said as they brought it up to the cash register.

Charles was so happy when they finally returned to the Hotel room.

Meanwhile Eddie and Jenn finally return home.

"Home sweet home." said Jenn.

"Finally I can lay down and relax." said Eddie.

"Hey Dad you guys finally made it back." said Nate.

"Yeah it was a long flight but we're back safe and sound." said Jenn.

"I better call Dana and let her know that we are going to pick up the twins later on." said Eddie.

"No need Pop I'll pick them up for you." said Nate.

"Thanks Nate you are a life savor." said Eddie.

"How is everyone. Did they behave themselves?" asked Jenn.

"Yeah Lizzie is still a little upset about what happened but I spoke to her." said Nate.

"Good Lizzie needs someone besides Robin to talk to." said Jenn.

"Yeah that's for sure." said Nate.

Soon Tay and Devin in the door.

"Mom, dad you're back!" said Tay.

"Yeah now that you are here you can help us carry our luggage upstairs." said Eddie.

"Can I do it later Devin and I have to talk to Lizzie. Actually Devin needs to talk to Lizzie." said Tay.

"Talk about what?" asked Lizzie.

"I believe Devin have something to say to you." said Tay.

"Can we talk in the kitchen?" asked Devin.

"I have nothing to say to you." said Lizzie.

"Please!" begged Devin.

"Fine!!!" said Lizzie.

Tay watched as Devin and Lizzie went in the kitchen.

"Tay our luggage?" Eddie mentioned.

"Oops sorry dad!" said Tay.

In the kitchen, Devin sits at the table and nervously folds his hands in front of him like a kindergarten student while Lizzie stands in the corner glaring at him, hands folded across her chest.

He clears his throat before he begins. “AHEM!!!”

Lizzie rudely looks at her imaginary wrist watch. “I don’t have all day, Devin.”

“Lizard, I was out of line on the phone. I don’t know what got into me, but it definitely was NOT cool---what I said to you,” he admitted.

“No, it wasn’t cool, Devin. It was mean, and hurtful and vulgar and crude and insulting and rude and demeaning and---”

“A’iite, a’iite already! You made your point!” he interrupted her.

“And I’m STILL waiting,” she continued.

“Still waiting? For what?” he asked, baffled.

Lizzie stared him down, frowning, until it dawned on him what she was waiting for.

“Oh! My bad, Lizard. I APOLOGIZE,” he told her.

She rolled her eyes at him, and started to head out of the kitchen.

“No! Wait!” he called as he got up from the table.

“What NOW Devin?” she asked, exasperated.

“Well? Do you accept my apology?” he wanted to know.
