Pick up from p. 13
As Kingston return all of a sudden Sabrina come down suprisely and wanted say a few words about Mike.
"Who is that girl?" shocked Robin.
"Sabrina." angered Cassie.
"What!?!?" stunned Robin.
"I don't believe this. It's bad enough I have to deal with Sage now I have to see her God!!" annoyed Cassie.
"I take it you know her?" asked Robin.
"Lets just say shetried to take Charles away from me." said Cassie.
"But she's old." said Robin.
"And she's married." said Cassie.
"Wow Charles knows how to pick em." said Robin.
As Sabrina spoke she told everyone that Mike gave her first job and if it wasn't for him she wouldn't be where she is today.
"How much did she have to put out?" wondered Cassie.
"CASSIE!!!.' shocked Robin.
"Sorry." said Cassie.
After the funeral they Robin watched as they carried the casket to the limo and they all went to the cementary so they can buried him.

Robin and Monica rode in the Limo alone together. Eddie and Cassie followed in their car. As Eddie drove his cell phone rang and it was Jenn calling to see how everything was going.
"Well, Jenn, we managed to get through it. I don't know how, but we did," Eddie told her over his speaker phone.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean the great Reverand Kingston made sure he was the star of the show and gave a two hour sermon!" Eddie complained.
"OMG, Eddie, you've gotta be kidding? Two hours??" Jenn asked in disbelief.
"I kid you not! That man's a piece of work! I don't know who's worse--him or the dead guy!"
"Dad!!" Cassie butted in.
"I'm not talking to you, Cassie. Mind your business," he reprimanded her.
Cassie rolled her eyes and ignored him. "Mom--how are Kalie and Colin?" she shouted so that Jenn could hear her.
"Perfect angels. They can be SO GOOD when they want to be!" Jenn bragged.
"Cool. I'm glad they're not giving you any trouble," Cassie said relieved. "Charles and his mom aren't home yet from breakfast?"
"Funny you should mention that. I hear them coming through the front door now," Jenn told her daughter.
"Make sure you don't say anything about the funeral Mom," Cassie reminded her.
"Don't worry, Cassie--I won't. I like peace," Jenn replied. "Eddie, honey, drive safely and see you when you get back."
"Bye babe!"
Jenn hung up and went to talk to Marla and Charles about their breakfast at Denny's.

"Mom please don't tell Mrs. Sutton I had sex with Cassie last night. It'll never happened again I swear." begged Charles.
"I wonder if I heard that before." said Marla.
"If Cassie's parents find out about this Cassie will be on lockdown for good this time." said Charles.
"Well maybe you two should've thought about that before you decided to disrespect my house again and got your freak on." said Marla.
"Mom I'm begging you. Cassie's dad really have it end for me. I'll do anything you want please don't say anything." said Charles as he got on his knees and begged.
"Anything?" asked Marla.
"Anything." said Charles.
Then Jenn came downstairs & asked how was breakfast.
"Oh breakfast was wonderful. I finally got a chance to spend time with my son. And after a day like this Charles and I are going to spend alot more time together. And I mean way more time together if you know what I mean." said Marla staring at Charles.
Batman642
Charles gulped hard, afraid to even think about what his mother had in mind for him.
"You're a nice guy, Charles," Jenn complimented him. "I hope Tay grows up to be just like you!"
Jenn's last statement caused Marla to start choking and coughing uncontrollably.
"Are you ALRIGHT?" Jenn asked, pounding Marla on the back.
Marla finally got herself together. "Whew! Thanks Jenn--that was a close call...."
"What in the world brought that on?" Jenn asked, still a little shaken.
Marla sighed. "Jenn, all I can say is.....be careful what you wish for because you just might get it."
Jenn looked puzzled at first, not making the connection. Then she looked at Charles. "Oh, you mean, Tay? Charles?"
Marla nodded. Jenn was still puzzled, not understanding why Marla was suddenly anti-Charles.
"Mrs. Sutton, I'm not perfect--far from it," Charles admitted.
Jenn chuckled. "I KNOW THAT, CHARLES. I've got two grandkids upstairs to remind me of THAT!"
Charles slapped himself in the forehead. "Not you too...." he whined, as he turned and went upstairs, full of remorse.

Meanwhile at the cementary everyone gather around to bury Mike. Before Mike was buried ev. Kingston decides to preach again only this time he did it for three whole hours. Eddie & Robin is getting annoyed.
"Jesus Christ tghe man just preach back at the funeral. Is this guy for real?" annoyed Robin.
"Don't worried Robin not all christians is like that." said Cassie.
"Lord I wish I had my gun right now so I can shoot him." mumbled Eddie.
Sage tries to reach in Danny's pocket to get her cell phone.
"Don't even think about it." said Danny.
"Shoot." pouted Sage.
Soon after 3 hours has past they finally buried Mike. Robin was relieved he tried to rush to the limo as quick as he could Cassie went after him.
"Robin WAIT!!! Don't you want to talk to some people?" asked Cassie.
"No I don't I just want to be alone right now." said Robin.
Then Reverend Kingston showed up.
"Cassie right?" greeted Kingston.
"Yeah." said Cassie.
"Good to see you again. I'm so sorry about the incident at the prom." said Rev. Kingston.
"You mean when you hit on my mom and dad layed you out?" reminded Cassie.
"Oh no I meant about you almost getting abducted. I know if that would've been Staci I don't know what I would do." said Rev. Kingston.
"Thanks...I think." said Cassie.
"So what's the deal with you & Robin. Is he your new beau or something?" asked Rev. Kingston.
"No we just friends." said Cassie.
"Didn't look like it to me the way you both were holding hands." said Rev. Kingston.
"Rev. it's not even like that." said Robin.
"Well Robin we finally meet at last. I am so sorry about your father passing." said Rev. Kingston.
"I'm not." said Robin.
"RObin be nice." said Cassie as she elbowed him.
"Ouch!!!" said Robin.
"I know this may be hard on both you and your mother. I'm gonna pray that you and your mother get through this trying times. And I heard that you want to become a christian that's good. Then you need to come to my church. We have great things instored and if you need for anything just let me know." said Rev. Kingston.
"Robin doesn't need anything from you." said Eddie.
"Excuse me?" snapped Kingston.
"You heard me...and I want you to stay the hell away from Robin and most of all stay away from Cassie or else." warned Eddie.
"Or else what? You gonna sucker punch me again? I warning you if you hit me again this time I will press charges and make sure you don't ever work as a policeman ever again." said Rev. Kingston as her left.
"Robin look do not get caught up with this guy. You stay away from him you here?" said Eddie.
"Why whatsup he's not that bad." said Robin.
"Trust me he is." said Eddie.
Batman642
Cassie took Robin by the arm and walked away from the Reverend. When they got to the Limo, the two of them leaned up against it to talk.
"Listen Robin, I don't always agree with my Dad about people, but when it comes to the Reverend, my father is absolutely right. He''s just as bad as Mike was...." Cassie explained.
"No way! But he's a man of God, Cassie!"
"Supposedly. But his wife just left him and went back to Chicago because he's abusive."
Robin looked disappointed. "You sure can't judge a book by it's cover, can you?" he asked.
"So you'll stay out of his way then?" she asked concerned.
"Oh yeah, for sure. Thanks for the heads up--and I'm gonna warn my mom too. The last thing she needs is to get tied up with some screwball minister!"
"I know, I know. She's so vulnerable right now...." Cassie remarked, worried.
"Don't worry," Robin said as he put his hand on Cassie's shoulder, "I'll take care of her. She's all the family I've got now."
"And when you go back to Sea School, my family will look out for her," she promised.
"Thanks, Cassie. I knew I could count on you."
The two of them just stood for awhle leaning up against the Limo, watching the crowd at the cemetery, and thinking.
"Robin, isn't it weird how I didn't get to see you off, but we're together now anyway?" Cassie asked after awhile.
"I'd say it's fate, wouldn't you?" he replied.
"Yeah, I guess so," she agreed.
"My mom likes to say in every cloud there's a silver lining," he told her.
"So....when something bad happens, something good comes out of it, right?" she asked.
"Yeah. And right now, being here with you, I feel really good, Cassie," he admitted.
"Me too," she replied.

Meanwhile Eddie was having a chat with Monica.
"Monica may I have a word with you for minute?" asked Eddie.
"Yeah sure Eddie." said Monica.
"It's about Rev. Kingston." said Eddie.
"What about him? He seems like a nice guy and he look likes he could a good male role model for Robin. I heard great things about him. That's why I wanted him at the funeral. I know it's last minute but I needed someone to lift Robin's spirits." said Monica.
"Well inspite good intention I really think you shouldn't get too caught up with this guy." said Eddie.
"Why?" wondered Monica.
"He gives religion a bad name." said Eddie.
"I don't understand." said Monica.
"Let me explain." said Eddie.
Batman642
So Eddie told her all about Anita Kingston and how badly the Reverend treated her, as well as the problems he had raising Stacy and keeping her "straight".
Monica was very quiet and carefully listened to everything Eddie was saying, but the expression on her face puzzled Eddie.
When he finished telling her, he waited for her to respond, hoping she'd see things clearly.
"Well, Monica?"
Monica sighed. "Well, MR. SUTTON, I think you have ALOT OF NERVE," she told him in a low angry tone.
Eddie was shocked. "I'm sorry?" he asked, not believing what he was hearing.
"I think you're the POT calling the KETTLE BLACK!" she said.
"But Monica--"
"Don't you "but Monica" me!" she interrupted. "You're criticizing this wonderful man, but you've got skeletons in your OWN closet!"
"Skeletons? I don't have any skeletons in my closet," Eddie told her, totally confused and unnerved.
"HA! When you were at my house on Thanksgiving, I SAW YOU AND DANA KISSING!" she shouted.
Eddie felt all of the blood drain out of his face. He started trembling but hoped Monica didn't notice.
"Oh? Don't have anything to say now, do you MR. SUTTON? I was going to just try to forget all about it, but HOW DARE YOU try to drag the Reverends good name through the mud when you're a two-timing player yourself!"
Witih that, furious Monica stormed away from Eddie to the LImo where Robin and Cassie were.
"Mom! What's wrong?!" Robin asked, alarmed to see his mother's angry body language.
Monica grabbed Robin by the arm and pulled him away from Cassie. "Robin! In the limo--NOW! And I mean NOW!" she ordered him.
"Mom!" Robin started to object.
"NOW ROBIN! NOW!!" she yelled, her face turning red.
To keep peace and not make a scene, Robin gave in. "Okay, okay," he agreed as he quickly opened the door to the Limo and got in.
Cassie just stood in shock, not understanding what was going on and why. "Robin?" she managed to say before he left.
"Don't worry! I'll be in touch!" he promised as he shut the door to the Limo.
"Over my dead body!" Monica said as she went to the other side of the Limo to get in. "Don't hold your breath Cassie Sutton!"
Cassie felt her emotions getting the best of her, but tried to fight back the tears. "But what did I do??!" she pleaded.
"Talk to your FATHER!!!" Monica shouted as she got in and slammed the door.
Cassie stood at the edge of the cemetery in tears as she watched the Limo drive off with Monica and Robin inside.
Candygwen
"MOM WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT FOR???" snapped Robin.
"Cassie's father have alot of nerve lying about the good Reverend Kingston like that." said Monica.
"Mom what did he say about Rev. Kingston?" asked Robin.
"He said that he was abusive to his wife and mistreated his children and other horrible accusation about him. He should not be talkin' trash about someone when he know good and well he no better himself. Him and Cassie both." said Monica.
"Whoa mom, first of all I gotten to know Mr. Sutton for a while now. He would never make up a story like that. Mr. Sutton wouldn't be telling you this if it wasn't true. Second having Rev. Kingston isn't part of the deal in the first place. We don't know anything about him." said Robin.
"But I heard he's a great man Robin." said Monica.
"Just because you heard something doesn't make it true. Cassie told me alot about this guy. He made a pass at her mother at her junior prom and he tore down muriel (sp) to create a mall. Alot of people are losing their homes because of him. " said Robin.
"Don't you see the apple doesn't fall far from the tree? She's a liar just like her father." said Monica.
"Mom, are listening to yourself? Have you seen the Heights lately? It's a straight up hell hole. The Sutton's are not liars and plus they have witnesses. We don't anything about Kingston we live outside the Heights. He could be nothing but a wolf in sheeps clothing." said Robin.
"I don't know what kind crap Cassie put in your head but I want you to stay the hell away from that girl." said Monica.
"WHAT!!!" shocked Robin.
"You heard me." said Monica.
"You know I can't do that mom." said Robin.
"Robin I am your mother and you will do what you are told." said Monica.
"Well right now you're acting like Dad." said Robin.
"How Dare you say that to me?" upset Monica.
Then Robin told the chauffer to stop the limo and Robin got out.
"Robin where are you going?" asked Monica.
"Mom I love you. It's obvious you're upset and confused. I do not want to argue with you so I'm stepping out the limo and let cooled off until you come your senses. I am not going to stop seeing Cassie for anyone not even for you." said RObin walking away.
"Robin come back. Robin you come back right this instant. You hear me? DAMMIT!!!" upset Monica.
Meanwhile Cassie was in the car with her father driving home.
"Why is Monica so mad at us? You told her about Kingston." said Cassie.
"She's not mad Cassie she's upset. There's a difference she been through so much she doesn't hear the truth." said Eddie.
"It doesn't matter now. Robin will end up hating me." said hurt Cassie.
"Don't be silly Cassie. Robin is a good person. I'm sure he'll understand. They are going through a rough time." said Eddie.
Batman642
As Eddie continued driving, he and Cassie spotted Robin walking along the side of the road and stopped to pick him up.
"OMG, Robin are you ok?" Cassie asked as he got in the back seat.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I had to get away from my mom and let her cool off, is all," he explained. "She's really trippin over this Reverend Kingston dude."
"That's what I was just telling Cassie," Eddie agreed.
"But why is she upset with YOU Dad?" Cassie still didn't understand.
"I'm an easy target. I gave her the bad news," he lied, knowing he could never tell Cassie about him kissing Dana.
"Yeah, Cassie, she's trying to kill the messenger," Robin explained.
"Oh......" Cassie replied, deep in thought.
"So Robin, should we bring you back to your Mom's place?" Eddie asked pulling out into traffic again.
"Are you guys hungry?" Robin asked. "Cause I'm starved!" he admitted.
"I know I am after sitting through the longest funeral in history!" Eddie agreed. "What about you, Cassie?"
"Yes, maybe we could stop and eat," she suggested.
"Name the place, Robin. My treat!" Eddie offered.
"How's the Cheesecake Factory?" Robin asked.
"Sounds like heaven to me!" Eddie said as he drove.

Meanwhile back at Marla's place Vera came over for a visit.
"Hey Vera." greeted Jenn.
"Hey sis!!" said Vera hugging Jenn.
"What's brings you here?" asked Jenn.
"Oh nothing can I visit my sister every once in a while?" asked Vera.
"Of course." said Jenn.
"Well since I'm here my living room & the kitchen needs to be repainted and Spencer too lazy to do anything so can you your husband to do it?" asked Vera.
"I love to but Eddie is with Cassie at the fur...I mean at furniture store picking out new funiture for our house." lied Jenn.
"Oh?" confused Vera.
"However I can Tay, Nate & Jeron. I'm they are willing to help." said Jenn.
"Lets these boys rest and enjoy themselves. I have the next best thing. He's a one man job my son Charles." said Marla.
"Are you sure? It's alot of work." said Vera.
"I'm sure & I'm sure he won't mind." said Marla.
"Mind what?" asked Charles.
Batman642
Marla was thrilled with the payback she was going to give Charles. She tried to hold in her laughter and look at Charles with a straight face.
"I volunteered you to paint Vera's kitchen and livingroom because you're SUCH A WONDERFUL YOUNG MAN and wouldn't mind. WOULD YOU, son?"
Charles started to object but then remembered his deal with his mother. "I'd be happy to do it," he said to Vera in a very mild-mannered tone of voice.
Vera was grinning from ear to ear. "Now I see why Cassie is crazy about you!" she remarked. "Thank you, Charles!"
"Don't meniton it," he replied.
"Charles, are you okay? You don't seem yourself?" Jenn observed.
"I'm fine, Mrs. Sutton. So when are we gonna do this?" he asked Vera.
"You tell me," she answered.
"I think NOW is a good time," Marla insisted.
"I've got the paint and everything over at the house, Charles. I just need your elbow grease," Vera told him.
"Alright then. I guess NOW IT IS," he agreed, glaring at his mother, who was still trying not to laugh. "I'll be outfront," he told Vera as he walked out the door.
"Marla, thanks so much!" Vera said happily, getting ready to leave.
"Don't mention it. And don't let this be the last time you ask for help. My son has alot of energy that he needs to release in constructive ways," Marla explained.
"Okay! I'll be taking you up on that," Vera agreed. "Bye Jenn!"
"Be good, Vera," Jenn said as her sister left.
Meanwhile, on the way to the Cheesecake Factory, Eddie decides to stop by Spencer's and invite him to come along.
Candygwen
"You two wait in the car. I'll go and get my father." said Eddie.
"Alright Dad." said Cassie
The two wait as Eddie went to pick up Spencer.
"Robin are you alright?" asked Cassie.
"I'm fine just a little stressed out from the funeral that's all." said Robin.
"It's been a long day for all of us." said Cassie.
"I just hope my mom will come to her senses." said Robin.
"She will. Trust me." said Cassie.
"I hope you're right." said Robin.
The two started glaring at each other just when they about to kiss Cassie saw Vera's car pulling up and Charles was in it.
"Oh MY GOD!!!" shocked Cassie.
"What is it?" asked Robin.
"It's Aunt Vera." said Cassie.
"So?" confused Robin.
"Charles is in the car with her get down before he sees us." said Cassie.
The ducked down as the car pulled up. Meanwhile Eddie is in the house asking Spencer to come with him the cheesecake factory.
"Wow that sounds great I'll be glad to join you." said Spencer.
Batman642
So Eddie sat on the couch in front of the t.v. and waited for Spencer to go upstairs and get himself together. Meanwhile, Vera and Charles came into the house through the back door in the kitchen.
"See Charles, my kitchen isn't nearly as big as your mom's kitchen," Vera was explaining.
"Thank God for that!" Charles replied, looking around.
"Hey Spencer! Come in here! I have a surprise for you!" Vera called, thinking he was in the livingroom watching T.V.
Eddie heard Vera, but didn't hear Charles.
"It's not Spencer!" he yelled back, chuckling a little as he relaxed on the couch.
"Stay here, Charles and get yourself together," Vera told him as she went into the livingroom.
When she saw Eddie, she was pleasantly surprised. "Hey Bro! What are you doing here?" she asked.
"I stopped by to get Pops on my way to the Cheesecake Factory," he explained.
Vera looked puzzled. "But I just came from your house and Jenn said you and Cassie were out furniture shopping. Where's Cassie?"
"Oh! She's in the car waiting for me and Spencer," Eddie told her, wondering about his wife's furniture shopping tale.
"I haven't seen Cassie in ages. Tell her to come on in, why don't you. There's a big surprise for her in the kitchen," Vera said smiling.
"Oh? What's that?" Eddie asked, still not realizing Charles was in the house.
He got up to go out to the front driveway and get Cassie, but when Vera answered his question and said Charles was in the kitchen, he stopped dead in his tracks.
Eddie had to think fast. "Uh......Vera?"
"Yes, what's wrong?"
"Vera, come out to the car with me and say hi to Cassie. Please?" he asked.
Vera shrugged. "Well, alright, but I don't see why she can't come in the house. Especially since her boyfriend is here!" she complained as she started out the door with Eddie.
"Look Vera, Cassie and Charles are having a little spat and Jenn and I are trying to keep them apart for the day until things cool off. So whatever you do, don't let Charles know that Cassie was here with me. Okay?" Eddie instructed.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever! What else is new with that daughter of yours?" Vera asked in a hurry, annoyed.,
She went down the steps to Eddie's car parked in the driveway and stuck her head through the driver's side to say hi to Cassie.
Candygwen
"Stay Down!!!." whispered Cassie as she kept Robin on the floor.
"Ouch." said Robin silencely.
"Hey Aunt Vera how are you?" asked Cassie as she stuck her head out of the car window.
"Well aren't you going to give you Auntie a hug or you too grown for that?" asked Vera.
"Of course I'm going to a hug." said Cassie.
As Cassie & Vera hug eachother Robin was on the car floor so he decided to have a little fun. He slowly removed Cassie's high heel shoe and started play with her foot.
"So Cassie what's been going on? Why are you & your dad all dressed up in black for?" asked Vera.
"Well umm my Dad & I went to father & daughter outing." said Cassie.
"That's strange you I thought you & your dad went to the furniture store pick up some furniture." confused Cassie.
Then Robin started strucking Cassie's bare sole with one finger. Cassie started to giggle a little. The Robin started to tickle Cassie's foot. Cassie giggle loudly.
"Cassie are you alright?" asked Vera.
"I'm fine Aunt Vera just thoguht of something funny." lied Cassie. Then Cassie told Robin to stop but Robin continued to tickled for foot.
"Oh okay" said Vera as looked at Cassie very strange.
"You see my dad & I went to the furniture first hee hee & then we went to an outing. haahha" giggled Cassie. Then Cassie whispered to Robin to knock it off.
"Cassie are you feeling alright?" asked Vera.
"I fine." said Cassie.
Then Robin started to suck on Cassie's toes. Cassie started to get turned on.
"I feel so fine. God that feels good." said Cassie to herself.
"Excuse me?" confused Vera.
"Nothing I was thinking to myself." lied Cassie
Then Robin took Cassie's foot and licked her entired foot and Cassie screamed. Then Cassie kicked Robin and told him to stop. Robin finally controlled himself as he rubbed nose and laughed to himself.
"I'm sorry Aunt I just thinking aloud." said Cassie.
"You mind telling me what the joke is? Because it's obvious hilarious act like a fooled.
Then Vera heard a noise in the house. Vera ran quickly.
"Vera what's going on?" asked Eddie.
"I don't know but it's coming from the kitchen." said Eddie.
Suddenly Eddie and Vera saw Spencer put Charles in a headlock.
"WHAT'S YOUR ANGLE BOY? YOU SNEAKING UP ON ME? BOY I'LL SNAPPED YOUR NECK IN TWO?" snapped Spencer.
"NO let go." said Charles.
"DAD WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?" shocked Eddie.
"I found this boy breaking into my kitchen." said Spencer.
Batman642
"Help me!" mouthed Charles.
"I don't care what Eddie says. This boy needs some comfort. Come on Cassie. Say hi to your boyfriend", said Vera puling Cassie out the care.
Cassie was to confused to argue.
"Spencer let the boy go. He's here to paint the kitchen. Unless you want to..", said Vera.
"Have fun Charles. Come on Eddie lets go", said Spencer as he quickly let go.
"Cassie?! Why are you here. And dress in black...", said Charles fiting the pieces together, "You were at the funeral?".
"Charles...I...I can explain", replied Cassie.
Charles ran ouside out check the car and found Robin. "And your with HIM!!!!", said Charles hurt.
"DAMMIT..DAMMIT", said Charles as he punched the car.
"How could you Cassie. I tried to trust you...I tried", said Charles on the verge of tears.
Robertadamonlover
"Charles this is not what you think!!!" said Cassie.
"Don't give me that you've been going out with Robin behind my back. That's why you were all dressed up." said Charles.
"I wasn't going out with if you let me explain." said Cassie.
"Oh save it. So tell have you been knocking boots with him as well? Come on tell me?" angered Charles.
"No I haven't Charles there is a reason why he's here." said Cassie.
"So he can take you away from me. You I am sick of this shit!!!" snapped Charles as stormed out with a crowbar.
Charles charged toward the car.
"COME ON OUT ROBIN!!! WE GOING TO SETTLE THIS ONCE AND FOR YOU CORWARD!!! GET YOU ASS OUT HERE AND FIGHT ME LIKE A MAN YOU COWARD!!! screamed Charles as he started beating on Eddie's car.
Robin refuse to get out. The Charles started swinging the crowbar and smashing the car windows. Suddenly Eddie rushed out and body slammed Charles to ground.
"Look I understand you're upset but now you are messing MY CAR and I don't take kindly to people messing with my car." snapped Eddie.
"Can't you see he stealing Cassie away from me. Let me go." angered Charles.
"First of all you need to calm your ass down or I will kick your ass my damn self. Now nothing happened between Robin and Cassie because I was there the whole time." said Eddie with a deep tone.
"You were there? But why?" whined Charles.
"If you shut up and listen I will explain everthing." said Eddie.
Batman642
Charles calmed down enough for Eddie to let him up off of the ground, and then he brushed himself off.
"Okay, so I'm listening," Charles told him.
"Wait a minute!" Vera interrupted. "Can't we all go inside? Let's sit down and I'll get you fellas something to drink," she offered, worried about what the neighbors would think with everyone crowded on her front lawn.
"Fine," Eddie agreed. He and Charles started towards the house with Vera and Spencer.
Cassie ran to Robin who was still sitting in the car. "It's safe now, Robin. You can get out and come inside. Aunt Vera's gonna give us some iced tea and Dad's gonna straighten everything out with Charles," she told him.
"Cassie, just before Charles pulled up in the car with your father, I almost kissed you."
"I know, I know," she agreed. "But we were just caught up in the moment Robin. It's been a long day, we're both tired and hungry and happy to see each other and our emotions are out of control with the funeral and all," she explained.
"So it didn't mean anything to you? You didn't feel ANYTHING?" he asked, wanting to make sure.
Cassie avoided his questions. "Robin, let's just go in the house, please?" she asked as she opened the car door and waited for him to get out.
Candygwen
"Oh alright but we are so going to talk about this later." said Robin.
Meanwhile Eddie told Charles everything that has happened.
"So you mean to tell me the reason Robin is in town because his father died?" asked Charles.
"Exactly." said Eddie.
"But Cassie why didn't you just tell me? Why go through all this trouble lying to me?" asked Charles.
"Because Charles I knew when it comes to Robin you act crazy and insane. You become this different person." said Cassie.
"Cassie I told you I'm trying to change." said Charles.
"It didn't look like it." said Cassie.
"Mr. Sutton why of all people would keep a secret from me?" asked Charles.
"As much as hate doing that I was trying to keep the peace and to protect not only Robin but mostly my daughter." said Charles.
"Alright I'll admit I freaked out I'm sorry beautiful it won't happened again. Baby I'm trying. Really am trying." said Charles.
"Then you need to try harder Charles. Anyway there's someone else you should apologized." said Cassie.
"Oh yes Sorry Mr. Sutton I was wrong for what I did and I will pay for damge to your car." said Charles.
"Oh you damn right you going to pay for my car window. And I think you need to apologize to Robin most of all." said Eddie.
"Come on Mr. Sutton this is alittle much don't you think?" asked Charles.
"Alright then that's cool. You just don't see my daughter anymore and you get visitation rights to see the twins." said Eddie.
"Mr. Sutton there's no need for that. I've ready know how Charles feels about me." said Robin.
"No Robin, Charles is way out of line and this really needs to stop." said Eddie.
"Sorry Robin...no hard feelings." said Charles.
"(Sigh) Sure whatever man. No hard feelings." said Robin as they both shook hands.
"Sorry that we kept this secret from you Charles but like I said before I want to keep the peace." said Eddie.
"I understand Mr. Sutton. Now if you excuse me I'll better get started painting." said Charles going to the kitchen.
"Does this mean we won't go to the cheesecake factory?" asked Spencer.
"We're still going? Come on. Cassie, Robin lets go." said Eddie.
"Alright Dad." said Cassie.
"Cassie just out of curiousiy why are you walking around with one shoe on?" confused Spencer.
"Oh that I dropped my shoe in the car rushing out." lied Cassie.
"Well get int the car and put your shoe on. I don't want my neighbor thinks this family is crazy." said Spencer.
Batman642
While the four of them went to the restaurant, Vera stayed home with Charles to supervise the painting.
"Charles, are you sure you're okay with what happened here today? You know, with Robin and Cassie...." she asked as she watched him up on the ladder.
"Now that everything's out in the open, yeah. I'm cool with it," he replied. "Why?"
Vera made a face. "Oh, I dunno.....It's just that the same thing always seems to come up between y'all. I'm not even around you guys very much, but when I am, it seems like there's always some misunderstanding going on about Cassie and Robin."
"Excuse me for saying so, but if I remember correctly YOU had something to do with one of those misunderstandings, Vera. I didn't forget about the time you tried to set Robin and Cassie up behind my back," Charles reminded her.
Vera scrached her head. "Oh yeah..... Funny, but I forgot about that one myself!" she admitted.
"But that's okay--it's all good. What you did backfired and helped me propose to Cassie!" Charles laughed.
Vera laughed too. "Yeah! And you two STILL aren't married! What's up with THAT?"
Charles looked a little sad. "Whenever we tried it never worked out. So, we just pledged our eternal love in our own private ceremony," he explained.
"Oh, is that what that ring is you're wearing?"
"Yeah. But while we're on the subject, can I ask you a question, Vera?"
"Go on," she agreed.
"What's the deal with you and Spencer?" he asked as he came down the ladder.
Candygwen
"Oh nothing we just going out that's all." said Vera.
"But you two are living together." said Charles.
"Yeah well Spencer is getting old and he needs someone to look after him." said Vera.
"I see. So when are YOU TWO going to tie the knot?" asked Charles.
"When you stay out of grown folks business that's when now get back to work." said Vera.
Charles continue painting meanwhule at the cheesecake factory...

"Here comes the food! Alriiiiight...!" Robin announced as he spotted the waiter wheeling the serving table towards them.
"Pops, you have no idea how starved I am. That Reverend preached for five hours!' Eddie told Spencer.
"Glad I wasn't there!" Spencer replied, licking his lips with anticipation.
"Oh you guys!" Cassie laughed, getting up from the table.
"Where ya goin?" Robin asked, surprised.
"I wanna wash my hands. I'll be right back," she told them.
While Cassie was away from the table, Eddie took the opportunity to speak man-to-man with Robin about his daughter.
Candygwen
"So Robin what's been going on with you & my daughter?" asked Eddie curisously.
"Nothing why?" asked Robin.
"Don't know you tell me. It seems like you & Cassie are real happy to see each other." said Eddie.
"Well we are good friends & we haven't seen each other in awhile." said Robin.
"You sure about that? Because you two look a little too happy if you know what I mean." said Eddie as he put sugar in his tea.
"Uh? Oh...No no it's nothing like that sir. We just friends." said Robin as he begin to sweat.
"Come on RObin me and you are cool I have no problems with you. You can talk to me." said Eddie with grin.
"Nothing happened Mr. Sutton." said Robin nervously.
"You sure about that? I couldn't helped but noticed Cassie's shoe was missing earlier when we were at Vera's place. And I kinda' heard you have bit of a foot fetish." wondering Eddie.
"Jesus Christ Eddie leave the boy alone. I came here to eat. I don't want hear about talk about feet & niether does this boy." snapped Spencer.
"Mr. Sutton there is nothing going on between me & cassie. Cassie and I are just friends." said Robin.
You're sure and you not just taking advantage of my precious little girl. She like a princess to me. And I will be very unhappy if you break her heart and I also will be very unhappy if you weren't telling me the whole truth." said Eddie.
"Mr. Sutton I promise you I would never hurt Cassie in anyway. I have too much love and respect for her." said Robin.
"What that I hear you love her?" asked Eddie with a grin.
"I meant as a friend Mr. Sutton." said Robin.
"And are you sure you're not playing around with my daughter?" asked Eddie.
Soon the waitress arrived.
"May I take your order?" asked the waitress.
"Saved by the waitress." said Robin to himself.
Batman642
"We're not ready to order dessert yet," Spencer told the waitress. "We're still working on our main course, thanks."
When the waitress left, Cassie came back and sat next to Robin.
"Okay! Now I'm ready to attack my chef salad!" she said with a big smile, rubbing her hands together eagerly.
"Go for it!" Robin joked.
"Cassie, Robin and I were having a nice conversation about you two," Eddie told her, watching her reaction closely.
Cassie played it cool. "Oh yeah? That's nice, Dad," she replied, making sure not to make eye contact with him.
"Yeah......Robin says he loves you," Eddie told her, watching her every move.
"I love him too, Dad. AS A FRIEND," Cassie emphasized.
"Eddie!" Spencer interrupted. "Do you mind? If I wanted to watch a soap opera, I would've stayed home!" Spencer complained.
"Pipe down and eat your food, Pops," Eddie replied, not paying Spencer any mind.
"See, Mr. Sutton--just like I said. FRIENDS," Robin agreed, happy to have Cassie to back him up.
"Well, I just want to put BOTH of you on notice right now. If you two have feelings other than friendly ones for each other, you need to come clean with Charles. Cassie, if I've told you once, I've told you a thousand times--don't play with a man's emotions. Not Charles' emotions--not Robin's emotions. If the two of you are JUST FRIENDS--that's great--I'm happy for you. But if there's ANYTHING ELSE GOING ON, you need to get it out in the open once and for all and make up your minds what you want to do. That way Charles will be clear on things and can make a move of his own."
"Dad! What in the world are you talking about?" Cassie asked, getting annoyed. "I'm with Charles--he's with me--Robin's with Lulu. What are you talking about??"
"I wasn't born yesterday, Cassandra. I see the way the two of you look at each other--touch each other--talk to each other. It looks like you two are more than friends to me," Eddie admitted.
"Mr. Sutton, I'm sorry if I've given you the wrong impression, Sir. I respect the fact that Cassie and Charles are a couple and I don't want to cross the line. So if that's what I've done, I apologize. It wasn't intentional. I just needed support today at the funeral, so Cassie was there to hold my hand and help me get through it. She talked with me and gave me a shoulder to lean on is all," Robin explained.
Eddie listened intently to what Robin was saying.
"Are you satisfied, Eddie?" Spencer snapped. "The boy just lost his father for Christ's sake--give him a break!"
Still, Eddie paid Spencer no mind, and shook his finger at Robin. "I like you Robin. Don't make me regret that," he warned.
Robin gulped. "No Sir."
Candygwen
"I promised sir I won't disappoint you." said Robin.
"That's good to hear now lets shake on it." said Eddie.
The two shook hands and the finally ordered their food.
"Eddie I want to talk to you right after we finished eating." said Spencer.
"Alright Spencer." said Eddie rollin' his eyes.
Robin and Cassie ate and didn't say a word.
Meanwhile Jenn decide to give Eddie a ring to find out how things are going.
Batman642
"Never a dull moment, Jenn, I tell ya....." Eddie sighed over the phone.
"What do you mean?"
"I can't talk right now about it, but believe me, I'll fill you in on EVERYTHING when I get back," he promised.
"Where are you now? You've been gone ALL DAY!"
"Jenn, I listened to five hours of preaching today between the funeral and the burial. So after we left the cemetery, I needed to unwind. I took Cassie, Robin and my father out to eat at the Cheesecake Factory. We're finishing up now."
"How did you get with your Father??" Jenn asked, puzzled.
Eddie chuckled. "Come on, Jenn, I think you've been with those twins too long!" he joked. "Obviously I picked him up!"
"But.......Charles.....Vera......"
"No kidding! That's why I've got lots to tell you when I get home. Oh--and don't be surprised at the condition of my car either," he warned.
"Eddie....you're scaring me!"
"Don't panic, Jenn. I'm fine. Cassie's fine. We're ALL fine. It's just the car that took a beating."
"OMG, Eddie. I'm starting to figure it all out without you even telling me," she sighed.
"Well, hold that thought, Jenn. Like I said, we're coming home soon and I'll tell you all about it. Would you like to speak with your daughter?" he offered.
"No, no, just give her my love. The twins have been SO GOOD I can't believe it!'
"Do you need anything from the store while I'm out?" Eddie offered.
"No.....I think we're okay--thanks. But hurry back, Eddie. You've been gone so long!" she complained.
"This has been a long day," he agreed.
"Is Robin alright?" Jenn asked.
"I think so. Let me ask him," Eddie said as he got Robin's attention. "Robin, Jenn wants to know if you're alright."
Robin nodded and was touched. "Tell her thanks and that I'm cool."
Eddie grinned. "He's cool Jenn and he thanks you for your concern."
"Okay, Babe, I'm glad to hear that. Hurry back and drive safe," Jenn said, ending the call.
"So what did Eddie say?" Marla asked when Jenn got off of the phone.
Jenn shook her head and sighed. "Marla, Marla, Marla..... when Eddie gets back, get ready for more drama," Jenn advised.
"You're kidding--right?" Marla asked outdone.
"I WISH!" Jenn replied.
Candygwen
"I really think those two needs some time apart." said Jenn.
"What are you talking about? Robin is at Sea School isn't that far enough?" asked Marla.
"I'm talking about Cassie and Charles." said Jenn.
"I see I really don't think they are going to make it. They have too many issues." said Marla.
"I know maybe we should get them some type of counseling or something I don't know." said Jenn.
"I know Charles loves Cassie." said Marla.
"And I know Cassie loves Charles but they keep having issues and that's not good at all." said Jenn.
Meanwhile Eddie and the others was leaving the Cheesecake factory and headed toward home.
"Robin aren't you going to call you mom and let her know where you are?" asked Cassie.
"I'll call her a little later on." said Cassie.
"Robin I really think you should call you mother. She going to worry eventually." said Eddie.
"Don't worry I will let her know where I am." said Robin.
As they arrived home Marla and Jenn saw the car all beat up.
Batman642
"OMG!!!" Jenn screamed, holding her hands up to her head in disbelief.
"Geez....." Marla remarked. "Looks like something my son would do," she admitted.
Both women ran out to the driveway to get a better look at the damage.
"Eddie, I am SO SORRY!" Marla started immediately apologizing.
Eddie gave her a consoling look. "Don't worry, Marla. And anyway, why are you apologizing?"
"Eddie, I KNOW my son, and Jenn told me to get ready for some drama, which is my son's middle name."
Eddie chuckled. "Well, like I said, don't worry. I was a young rebel once myself with a hot temper, believe it or not. Charles and I talked and he'll make good on it," Eddie said with confidence.
"Are we gonna stand out here all night?" Cassie asked, tired of the conversation about Charles.
"Good point. Let's get inside," Eddie suggested as they all walked up the driveway and into the house.
Jenn put her arm around Robin's shoulder. "It sure is good to see you, FINALLY," she said giving him a squeeze as they walked. "I'm SO SORRY about your Dad, Robin," she said sincerely.
"Thank you. I'm okay though," he assured her.
"And Monica? How is she holding up?" Jenn asked concerned.
Robin hesitated. "Well.....she could be better. She kinda freaked out at the cemetery and we split up after that," he explained.
"You mean she's ALONE???" Jenn asked, alarmed.
"Well.....yeah.....I guess....." he replied, unsure.
"She shouldn't be alone at a time like this!" Jenn objected.
By this time they were all in the house and getting settled in the living room.
"Eddie, did you know that Monica's all alone and not doing well?" Jenn asked her husband.
"I know, Jenn," he confirmed.
"Eddie, she needs someone to be with her!"
"Not me," Eddie answered. "She's too through with me!"
Jenn sighed, aggravated, and ran to the closet to get her jacket. "I'm going over there to be with her," she announced.
"Jenn, I don't think that's a good idea," Eddie said.
"I've been in this house all day with the twins. Cassie's back, you've had your dinner, so my job here is done. Monica had us over to her apartment on Thanksgiving and the least I can do is be there for her when no one else is," Jenn explained in a hurry.
"I might as well go with you, Mrs. Sutton," Robin said following her reluctantly.
"Did you and your mom have a disagreement?" Jenn asked, not understanding Robin's reluctance.
"Yeah, you could say that. She's upset over something your husband said and she's taking it out on me and Cassie's friendship."
"What a mess....." Jenn remarked as she headed out the door ahead of Robin.
Cassie and Robin followed, walking to the car arm-in-arm.
"You sure you're ready to face your Mom?" she asked, concerned.
Robin sighed. "It's gotta be done sooner or later. And anyway, with your mom there maybe she won't act too bad," he reasoned.
"When do you leave to go back to Sea School?"
"I've got a whole week off, so I'll be in touch with you. We've still got some things to talk about--you and me," he told her as they reached the car.
"Robin--about what my Dad was saying at dinner--"
Robin put his hand over Cassie's mouth and stopped her from continuing. "Not now. We'll talk later--just you and me--when we've got the time. Agreed?"
Cassie nodded a little.
Jenn was in the car and rolled the window down. "Robin, say goodbye and get in," she said impatiently.
Robin kissed Cassie on the forehead. "Thanks for everything," he said as he got in the car.
Cassie stood in the driveway and watched them drive down the street and then she slowly walked back to the house.
Candygwen
As they arrived to the house walked in and saw his mother.
"Robin I was beginning to worry about you." said Monica.
"I know I should've call you and apologize for that." said Robin.
"If anyone should apologize it's me." said Monica.
"Huh?" confused Robin.
"I'm sorry the I blew up at you & Cassie at the cementary and the whole Kingston hing. I should've spoken to you first before anything. He such a nice guy and I thought he may have a positive influence on you." said Monica.
" I understand mom and I appreciate that but we agreed to a small funeral nothing fancy. Beside isn't like Dad was the greatest person in the world." said Robin.
"I know...And I sorry for consulting with you first." said Monica.
"Yeah I guess should not have walked out and left you alone like that. I was wrong too. I'll apoloize. You need to understand Cassie and Mrs. Sutton are my friends they may have some issues but I am not going stop being their friends just becuase you feel different about them. I have the right who I can or cannot hangout with and Suttons are pretty cool. And the Sutton are pratically my family...I mean or family." said Robin.
"I know I just don't want you to see you get hurt that's all." said Monica.
"Don't worry if I do which I won't I can handle it I promise." said Robin as he & his mother hugged.
"Just promised me you wont' contact Rev. Kingston again." said Robin.
"I promise if it makes you happy." said Monica.
"Is it safe to come in?" asked Jenn.
"Sure come in. Mom you know Mrs. Sutton." said Robin.
"Of course Mrs. Sutton how are you holding up?" asked Monica.
"I'm fine what about you?" asked Jenn.
"I'm okay you poor woman. Eddie just don't know what wonderful woman you are." said Monica.
"Huh?" asked Jenn.
"Mom?" confused Robin.
"Oh I'm sorry it's a long day tell your husband I say thanks." said Monica as she didn't want to tell Jenn about Eddie and Dana.
"Okay!?!? Robin are you sure your mother feeling alright?" asked Jenn.
"I told you she hasn't been feeling like herself lately." said Robin.
"Let me get you all some coffee." said Monica.
Then suddenly Monica got into a dizzy spelled and fell down. Robin and Jenn rush to her. Monica got back up.
"Oh My God Monica are you alright?" asked Jenn.
"I'm fine just this a little dizzy spelled that's all." said Monica.
"Mom, have you ate anything all day today?" asked Robin.
"I haven't eaten since this morning but I'm fine." said Monica.
"No you going to eat something right now." said Robin.
Robin went and got the leftover from the Cheesecake factory.
"Robin I think your mother will be fine." said Jenn.
"No she's not she's been like this since my dad died. She hardly been eating." said RObin.
"Oh my God." said Jenn.
"I fine." said Monica.
"ANd we want to keep you that way. You need to eat. RObin really needs his mother right now. Now eat." said Jenn.
"Alright I eat." said Monica.
Batman642
After she made sure Monica and Robin were both okay, Jenn started back on her way home. She couldn't help thinking about the strange conversation she had with Monica, and couldn't wait to get home to tell Eddie about it.
When she got back home, no one was downstairs. She found Eddie in the bedroom getting undressed.
"Hey," he greeted her. You finally made it back."
"Yeah. Good thing I went over there with Robin. His mom fainted from not eating all day."
"You don't say?"
"Mmm hmm. So Robin gave her his doggie-bag from the restaurant."
"Cool. So they're okay now?"
"Yes. But Eddie, Monica was asking me how I'm doing like she felt sorry for me. And she said you don't realize what a wonderful woman you've got."
"Sounds like she really needed some brain food to me," Eddie remarked, staying calm. "Like you said, good thing you were there for her Jenn."
Jenn rubbed her chin, deep in thought. "Yeah.....I guess that's all it was," she decided.
"You coming to bed, Jenn?" he asked as he got under the covers. "I'm so beat," he told her.
"But Eddie, you're supposed to tell me about Charles and the car and everything!" she reminded him.
"I'm too tired, Jenn. I'll tell you in the morning. Anyway, you know the saga of Chassie -- so I'm sure you can imagine what went on...." he said yawning.
"I still want details, Eddie," she replied.
But all Jenn got was an earful of snoring.
Candygwen
Meanwhile later that night while everyone was sleep got her cell and called Robin.
"Hello." answered Robin.
"Hey Robin." said Cassie.
"Cassie it's late what are doing calling this hour?" asked Robin.
"I want to make sure that you & your mom are okay." said Cassie.
"Everything is fine." said Robin.
"I'm sorry about Charles." said Cassie.
"Hey don't even tripped the important thing your straighten this whole thing out." said Robin.
"We need to talk about what my Dad said at dinner and the kiss we almost shared." said Cassie.
"Cassie it's getting late. I really need to rest." said Robin.
"Robin please don't avoid me." said Cassie.
"I'm not avoiding you. Anyway you already said that kiss we almost shared meant nothing." said Robin.
"Robin, I didn't mean anything by that and you know it." said Cassie.
"Cassie it's been a long tiring day. I promise you we talk about this tomorrow when we are both alone." said Robin.
"Good then we can go to the beachhouse and talk." said Cassie.
"Are you crazy? The beachhouse is a wreck from the earthquake." said Robin.
"Look no one will be here but us and the beachhouse doesn't look too bad." said Cassie.
"I hope you right. ALright we'll go."said Robin.
"Good. Robin this is very important. We can't avoid this." said Cassie.
"I know I know." said Robin.
"Gotta go I hear someone walking." said Cassie hanging up.
It was Dana.
"Hey I thought I heard you still up." said Dana.
"Hey sorry I just thinking about Robin." said Cassie.
"How is he?" asked Dana.
"He's holding up." said Cassie.
Batman642
"Where's Charles?" Dana asked.
"I guess he's sleep. He had a long day," Cassie replied.
"Was Marla able to keep him out of your hair for the funeral?" Dana inquired.
"Yes, but we ran into him after the funeral at my Granddad's house and things got kind of messy."
"For real?" Dana asked, not expecting to hear anything like that.
Cassie nodded. "But we worked everything out."
Dana chuckled. "You guys always do, don't you?" she asked.
"Mmm hmmm...." Cassie responded, deep in thought.
"Cassie, can I offer you some friendly advice?" Dana asked, not wanting to be too pushy.
"Anytime," Cassie assured her.
"Be careful. Be careful with Charles and Robin, Cassie. I know you mean well and you want to be friends with Robin no matter what, but just be smart and be careful. Don't put yourself in a situation you'll regret later," Dana warned.
Cassie thought about what Dana said, and decided to confide in her. "Dana?"
"Yes?"
"I made plans to meet Robin at the beach house tomorrow so we could talk."
Dana's eyebrow went up very high. "Say what?" she asked with disapproval.
"Not a good idea?" Cassie asked quietly.
"You and him? ALONE IN THE BEACH HOUSE? Are you crazy, girl?" Dana asked annoyed.
"We need to be alone to talk about some things, Dana," Cassie explained defensively.
Dana sighed and shook her head. "Girl, you can't see the forest for the trees....." she muttered.
"Huh?" Cassie asked, clueless.
"Cassie, let me go with you to the beach house. I'll stay in the kitchen and the two of you can have the livingroom all to yourselves to talk. But please don't go to the beach house ALONE with Robin. That's a recipe for disaster if ever I heard one! If Charles couldn't handle you going to a funeral with a bunch of people and Robin, what makes you think he's gonna like you and Robin going to the beach house--ALONE??"
"Okay, okay, already!" Cassie snapped back annoyed. "I'm sorry I said anything!"
"Well I'm not. I'm GLAD you told me. Now, are you gonna let me tag along or not?" Dana asked.
Candygwen
"Sure...us keep your distants", said Cassie giving in.
"Good, now go to bed. Cassie rember what I said, please be careful", said Dana as closing her door.
Cassie fell asleep into a nightmare. She was being lead off a clif while Charles and Robin pressured her to choose.
"I can't do this!!", screamed Cassie as she woke up.
"Cassie!! Are you okay?! Do you have a nightmare?" asked Jenn as she barged in.
"Mom...I don't know what to do?", said Cassie beginning to cry.
Robertadamsonlover
Jenn sat on the side of Cassie's bed, embracing her while she cried.
"Baby girl, I've never seen you like this," she told her daughter, worried.
Then Charles came in the room, visibly shaken.
"What's going on? What's wrong with Cassie?" he asked, rushing to the side of her bed.
Candygwen
"It's nothing I just had a bad dream that's all." said Cassie.
"You sure? Want to talk about it?" asked Jenn.
"No I'll be fine." said Cassie.
"Poor thing that funeral must have shaken you up." said Jenn.
"Yeah I guess so." said Cassie.
"You sure everything is alright?" conerned Jenn.
"I'll be fine seriously." said Cassie.
"Want me to stay with you?" asked Charles.
"Thanks Charles, but I'll okay. I just a bad that's all." said Cassie.
"Come on Charles lets Cassie get her rest. Cassie we're here if you need us." said Jenn.
"Thanks mom." said Cassie as she turned off the lights.
"I better make her some warm milk." said Charles.
"Charles there's no need for that. Cassie will be fine. Just go back to bed." said Jenn.
"I can't help something bothering her." said Charles.
"Charles, Cassie had a long stressful day she needs to rest. Just leave her alone for awhile alright." said Jenn.
"Alright anything you say Mrs. Sutton." said Charles as he head back to bed.
"Eddie have to tell me what's going on before this gets out of hand." said Jenn.
The next day Eddie went downstairs to get some coffee and he saw Jenn sitting at the table staring at Eddie.
"Morning Jenn." said Eddie.
"So are you going to tell me what went on the whole day or what?" asked Jenn as she fold her arms.
Batman642
Eddie frowned. "Jenn, don't sweat a brother!" he said playfully, pouring his coffee.
Jenn didn't appreciate his humor. "Eddie, Cassie had a nightmare last night. She was very upset and I want to know what's going on -- IF YOU DON'T MIND!"
Eddie sat down across from his wife. "Alright, alright," he agreed.
"Everything went fine until we got to the cemetery. I warned Monica about Kingston and what kind of guy he really is and she freaked out on me -- didn't like me talking about a man of God, I guess. So she stormed off and got in her limo with her son and left in a huff.
"Naturally, Cassie and I left too, and as we were driving we saw Robin walking along the side of the road. Apparently, he got out of the limo to let his mother cool off. So I picked him up and then we decided to go to the Cheesecake Factory to eat because that crazy Reverend preached for almost six hours between the funeral and the cemetery. On the way to the Restaurant, I got the idea to stop by and pick up my father and treat him to dinner as well.
"That's when mess hit the fan, because Charles was there painting for Vera and he came out and saw Cassie and Robin in the car and freaked out and started smashing my car with a crow bar, calling Robin a coward and all the usual nonsense he pulls. I had to take the boy down to the ground he was carrying on so much!
"But he calmed down when I told him I was with Robin and Cassie the whole time, and then we went into the house and fessed up and Charles apologized to Robin and then we left him to finish his painting and we went out to eat.
"End of story," Eddie concluded as he sipped his coffee. "Any questions?" he asked his wife.
Candygwen
"(Sigh) There's one thing I don't get. Why was was Monica so upset with you?" asked Jenn.
"I don't know. Like I said before I guess she doesn't like people talking about the man of God." said Eddie as refuse to tell Jenn that Monica knows about him & Dana.
"Well I guess that's explain everything." said Jenn.
"Well right now I hope Cassie has her head on straight since Robin is here." said Eddie.
"What do you mean?" asked Jenn.
"Come on Jenn!!! I get the feeling those two are getting a little to close if you know what mean." said Eddie.
"Oh Eddie stop it Robin and Cassie are just friends. That last time they gotten too close is when they were on the cruise ship. They both learn their lesson." said Jenn.
"I hope so Jenn. I trust Robin and all but I have to remember he's still a guy." said Eddie.
"Robin is not that kind of person. Personally I think there should be more guys like him. They can take a lesson from you including Charles." said Jenn.
"What about me? Chopliver." joked Eddie.
"Oh Eddie you'll always be number 1." said Jenn as she kissed Eddie.
Then Tay and Lizzie walked in the kitchen.
"Ewww get a room you two." joked Tay.
Batman642
"Watch it boy!" Eddie warned him. "Remember who you're talking to."
"Sorry Dad," Tay replied meekly.
"Where are you two coming from anyway?" Jenn asked her kids.
Candygwen
"Our rooms." said Lizzie.
"Yeah we just got up." said Tay.
"Anyway Nate is taking us to the arcade games today." said Tay.
"Wow you kids seem to be getting along pretty good." said Eddie.
"He's all right. I still don't consider my brother but he's cool." said Tay.
"Where's your sister?" asked Jenn.
"In her as always. Probably watching the twins." said Lizzie.
Then Charles came downstairs in his working clothes.
"Morning everybody." said Charles moody.
"Charles off the finish painting?" asked Eddie.
"Yeah Vera wants me to finish up the living room." said Charles.
"You know if you need help Tay is always available." said Eddie.
"Oh I think I hear Nate calling me see ya'" said Tay as he rushed out kitchen.
Batman642
"Wait for me!" Lizzie shouted, running behind Tay.
"Charles, how in the world did you get recruited to paint Vera's place?" Eddie asked, curious.
"My mom volunteered me," Charles replied, hoping Cassie's parents wouldn't dig too deep.
"And you just agreed with it?" Eddie continued questioning.
"He sure did, Eddie!" Jenn said with an admiring smile. "I was right there and saw the whole thing!" she bragged.
Eddie nodded approvingly. "I'm impressed, Charles. I didn't think you had it in you, to be honest," he admitted.
Charles felt guilty but tried to hide it with a smile. "Thank you, Mr. Sutton."
There was an awkward silence in the kitchen for a few moments until Charles broke it.
"Well.....guess I'd better be on my way!" he told them as he started to leave.
"Charles, wai
Batman642
