The Return Of Write Your Own Lincoln Heights Episodes Page 13
Cassie hugged her father. "Thanks Dad. It means alot to me to hear you say that."
"Cassie, there's just one thing," Jenn said.
"What's that Mom?"
"How do you plan on getting to the funeral?"
"Well, know I'm still grounded but I thought I could drive--I mean this is an exception and all--right?" she asked, worried.
"It is honey, but I don't know if I want you driving to Lincoln Heights all by yourself. Things are still pretty tense over there because of the quake and the looting. It's dangerous!" Jenn objected.
"Your mother DEFINITELY has a point," Eddie agreed. "You'll need someone to go with you, and I know JUST the person," he told her with confidence.
"WHO Dad???" Cassie asked, not liking the sound of his voice.
Eddie gave her a big smile. "Me, Myself and I," he informed her.
"Oh Eddie, that's a GREAT idea!" Jenn replied relieved.
"There's nothing like a police escort," Eddie said.
"But Dad you're suspended!"
"Doesn't matter. I've got the know-how and that's what counts."
Cassie looked disturbed, not liking the idea of her father tagging along with her.
"Look Cassie, it's the only way you're gonna get to go. So take it or leave it," Eddie advised.
Cassie sighed. "Looks like I have no choice. I'll take it," she agreed reluctantly

"Cassie we're doing what's best for you." said Eddie.
"Sure dad." said Cassie going upstairs.
Meanwhile Cassie recieved Robin's voice message and called him.
"Hey Cassie whatsup!!!" answered Robin.
"Hey I've got your message I've good news & bad news." said Cassie.
"Go ahead Shoot!!!" said Robin.
"The good news I'll definetely be there for the wake & the funeral." said Cassie.
"That's awesome." said Robin.
"Well don't get too excited because the bad news I'm going to be escorted by my dad. God they treat like such a child." said Cassie.
"I'm sure he have their reason. The Heights isn't exactly Malibu." said Robin.
"Yeah tell me about it." said Cassie.
"Did you tell Charles?" asked Robin.
"I didn't tell Charles that I'm going. I don't know how he would act & I don't want ruined the funeral." said Cassie.
"Good point!!! I'm glad you didn't. My mom is upset enough as it is. Him crashing the funeral and his crazy jealousy could put my mom in the hospital." said Robin.
"Exactly." said Cassie.
Batman642
Meanwhile, Marla is helping Charles clean up the mess he made making french toast.
"Charles, honey, I'd like us to go out together--just you and me--you know--like old times," she told him.
"Okay, Mom. What's on your mind?"
"Well, I just had such a nice time with Bill and I want to tell you all about it and, well, I never get to talk to you anymore --just us."
"Oh," he replied.
"So, what do you say tomorrow night--just you and me? We'll go out to a nice restaurant and just talk," she suggested.
"Sure, Mom. Sounds like a plan. Unless...."
"Unless what?"
"Unless Cassie wants us to do something together."
Marla tried to keep a straight face, knowing about the funeral Cassie was secretly planning to attend.
"Well, honey, check with Cassie and then get back to me and let me know. How's that?" she humored him.
"Okay, thanks for being so cool about it, Mom," Charles replied.
Marla laughed a little as she finished loading the dishwasher. "That's me--the cool mom!"
Candygwen
Meanwhile Charles went to talk to Cassie.
"Charles!!!" greeted Cassie.
"Hey beautiful mind if I have a word with you?" asked Charles as he kissed her.
"No go right ahead." said Cassie.
"You know me and my mom planning to hang out to tomorrow so if you don't have any plans you can come join us." said Charles.
"Thanks Charles but I already have plans tomorrows." said Cassie.
"You are you going to do?" asked Charles.
"Hummm I doing something with my dad." said Cassie.
"Hey then me and my mother can join you two." said Charles.
"NO!!! I mean no sweetie it's a father& daughter type thing. You know him I'm always be his daddy little girl." said Cassie.
"Okay no problem!!! Then we just have to plan something together this okay?" asked Charles as he kissed Cassie.
"Come on Cassie you could give me more sugar than that." said Charles.
"Sorry just have alot on my mind lately." said Cassie.
"Well let me ease your mind." said Charles as he got close to Cassie.
Batman642
Cassie giggled. "And just how do you intend to do that, Charles?" she asked, slightly amused.
"Beautiful, I thought you'd never ask," Charles replied as he quickly ran to the bedroom door and gently closed it so that no one would hear.
"Charles, wait a minute," Cassie started to object.
"No. No more waiting, Cassie. I've waited too long as it is...." he moaned in her ear as he held her close to him.
"Charles, you're NOT easing my mind!" she said as she struggled to get loose from his grip.
"Just relax...." he coaxed her as he kissed her all over.
"We're gonna get caught!" she warned as she tried in vain to stop him.
"I love you so much.....I want you so much, Cassie..."
"Oh Charles...." she said as she gave in.
Candygwen
Soon the two started making out. Then Charles ripped opened Cassie's blouse and started kissing all over her.
"Charles we need to use protection." said Cassie.
"We don't need protection we belong together." said Charles as he unzipped Cassie's pants.
"I don't want to get pregnant again." said frighten Cassie.
"We got money beautiful we can have as many babies as we want so we can hire a nanny."said Charles.
Then as soon as Charles & Cassie begin to make love Nate waked in.
"WHOA!!!" shocked Nate.
"DAMMIT!!" steamed Charles.
"Oh my God not again." embarrassed Cassie.
"Did I caught you two at a bad time?" asked Nate.
"YES!!!" frustrated Charles.
"Is there something you want?" asked Cassie.
"You Mom need you in the nursery. Their diapers need changing and they don't know where you put their diapers." said Nate.
"I'll right there in a minute...Uh Nate you're not going to tell mom and dad about this are you?" asked Cassie.
"Hey I didn't see nothing. I don't know nothing. What you two do is y'all business. I'm not saying a word." said Nate.
"Thanks Nate you're life savor." said Cassie.
"Hey I don't condone what you're doing but if you're are going to do that sort of thing at least keep the door locked. There are kids in this house too you know." said Nate as begin leave.
"Now where did we leave off?" said excited Charles.
"I'm going to check on the twins." said Cassie.
"But baby what about me?" whined Charles.
"Charles try to occupy yourself. As you can see this isn't the place or the time." said Cassie getting dress & leaving.
"Damn I hate taking cold showers." said frustrated Charles to himself.
"I wannato make love Cassie, I wanna tmake love Cassie, I wanna make love to Cassie." whined Charles.
"Excuse you?" asked Eddie overhearing.
"I meant I wanna buy a duck for Cassie." lied Charles.
"Charles...I'm going to say this one time. If you want to keep seeing my daughter stay off of drugs." said Eddie.

When Cassie went into the nursery she found Jenn and Marla frantically looking for diapers while the twins were screaming in their cribs.
"What took you so long, Cassie?!" Jenn demanded angrily.
"I'm sorry, Mom. I--I was talking to Charles," she explained.
"Uh.....HELLO.....we need diapers, Cassie!" Marla said sarcastically as she stared at Cassie.
"Oh! Right! Diapers!" Cassie ran to the closet and fortunately she found two pampers left.
She tossed one to Marla and one to Jenn.
Jenn caught hers, but Marla didn't make any attempt to catch hers, letting it fall to the floor. "I'm not changing any diaper now that you're here to do it, Cassie," she informed her.
Jenn looked pleasantly surprised. "Good point, Marla. I don't know what I was thinking," she said as she dropped the diaper into the crib with Kalie.
"Get to work, Cassandra," she told her daughter.
Cassie sucked her teeth, disappointed. "Gee thanks," she muttered.
"You're very welcome," Jenn replied as she walked out with Marla behind her.
"Oh Cassie," Marla added, "don't bother thanking me for keeping Charles out of your hair tomorrow night."
Cassie sighed, realizing she owed Marla.
"Thanks Mrs. A. Charles told me you guys are going out together. Just PLEASE make sure he doesn't find out about the fuenral," she begged.
"Cassie, I'll do what I can do," Marla replied as she closed the door, leaving Cassie and the screaming twins in the nursery.

Meanwhile back at Monica's house.
"Are you sure it's good idea to have this wake?" asked Robin.
"Robin for the last time yes...he's your father." said Monica.
"Mom no one will hardly be there. Dad isn't exactly a well liked person. Grandma & Grandpa don't even like him." said Robin.
"True but most of his co workers will be there. Anyway you may have a good time." said Monica.
"Someone I doubt that." said Robin.
"Just hurry and get dressed okay." said Monica.
"(sigh) alright mom." said Robin.
Batman642
Danny and Sage were also getting dressed for the wake.
"I hate funerals and wakes and stuff!" Sage complained as she put on a black pair of jeans with a black blouse.
Danny rolled his eyes, annoyed. "MOST people hate funerals, Sage, myself included. But Mike was the new owner of the Rev and he was nice enough to let me stay on and manage the place. It's the least I can do to show up and pay my respects."
"And why am I going?" Sage asked with her hand on her hip.
Danny gave her a smile and a wink. "'Cause you're my girl, Sweetness," he replied. "Now hurry and get ready."
Candygwen
Later on at the wake....
"Wow look at so many people." said Robin.
"Yeah Mike really got connections." said Monica.
"Wow look at all the food." said Robin.
"Robin we can eat later we have to at least talk to some people." said Monica.
"Mom I really don't want to talk to all these booshy & stuck up workers." said Robin.
"Robin they came here to pay their respects." said Monica.
"No they came here to see if Dad left them any money for them by sucking up." said Robin.
"Robin that's enough. I know this is hard but believe it or not they came here to pay their respect so try to be respectful okay." said Monica.
"I try mom. Can I at least eat something?" asked Robin.
"Sure go ahead sweetie." said Monica.
"Thanks mom.You need to eat something as well." said Robin.
"I'll be fine Robin." said Monica.
Robin is at the table grabbing chickens, sandwiches, ribs, pasta, everything off the table. Then he heard a voice saying you better not make yourself sick eating all that and giggle. Robin looked up and it was Cassie.
"Cassie you came." said Robin hugging her.
"I told you I'll be there." said Cassie as she kiss him on the cheek.
"I'm really glad you came." said Robin.
Batman642
"My Dad's over there," she told him pointing across the room at Eddie, who was talking to Sage.
"Is that Sage???" Robin asked, surprised.
"Yeah, can you believe it?" Cassie replied, less than thrilled.
"Why's she at my father's wake?"
"She's dating Danny--your Dad's employee--remember?"
"Small world," Robin commented.
"Yes, TOO SMALL," Cassie said, annoyed.
Meanwhile, Eddie was talking to Sage about Kevin Lund.
"I've gotta get over and see Kevin. It's just that with the quake and all....."
"I know, Mr. Sutton. My Dad understands, believe me. Everyone's life has been turned upside down," Sage remarked.
"Sage, let me ask you something--if you don't mind," Eddie began.
"Sure, what's on your mind?"
"What's the deal with you and Tay?"
Candygwen
"Me & Tay?" stunned Sage beign caught off guard.
"Yeah whatsup with you and my son?" asked Eddie.
"Nothing we just friends. Why you asked?" wondered Sage being nervous.
"It just that you two have gotten close that past summer and it seem that you two are having an issue." said Eddie.
"Oh no it's nothing. Plus Tay just been looking after me that's all." said Sage.
"You're sure you two are just friends?" asked Eddie being curious.
"Of course you don't think him and I are?" Sage nervously...Oh no it just that you are older than Tay and I don't want him to think you actually have a thing for him." said Eddie.
"Oh no like I said we are just friends." said Sage as she refuses to tell Eddie the whole truth.
"Mr. Sutton will you excuse me I think I hear Danny calling me." said Sage.
Meanwhile Cassie & Robin are still chatting.
"So are you still coming to the funeral tomorrow?" asked Robin.
"Robin you know that I'll be there tomorrow by you side." said Cassie.
"Thanks you don't know how much this means to me." said Robin.
"I do...You always been there for me now I want to be there for you." said Cassie holding Robin's hand.
The two looked at each others eyes. Then Sage walked in.
"Oh Robin you do know that's Charles' girl and don't think he'll appreciate you holding his girlfriend's hand." said Sage.
"Mind your own business Sage." warned Cassie.
"Well I guess you not such a goodie too shoes after all." said Sage.
"Knock it off Sage. This is not what you think." said Robin.
"Please I'm not blind Robin...oops I forgot you used be blind sorry." said Sage.
"For crying out loud Sage can't you be nice for 5 minutes?" sanpped Cassie.
"Alright!!! Robin I really am sorry about your dad." said Sage.
"Thanks Sage." mutter Robin.
"And you dad isn't that bad he bought the Rev and let my Danny be manager instead of you. I guess your dad knows how separate the men from the boys." said Sage.
"Sage I'm warning you." said Cassie.
"Oh are you still bitter that I became assistance manager or better yet you still mad because I became prom queen and I got to dance with Charles." said Sage.
Cassie was about to attack Sage until Robin stopped her.
"Ignored her Cassie..she isn't worth it. Trust me. She just trying to cause trouble and make you look bad in front of everybody." said Robin.
Batman642
When Sage walked away, Cassie let out a sigh of relief.
"Thanks Robin for stopping me. I almost lost it...." she admitted.
"I know. Sage has that affect on people," Robin chuckled.
"Do you think she'll tell Charles she saw me here?" Cassie asked, worried.
Robin shrugged. "I hope not, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it, Cassie. After all, it's her word against yours and who do you think Charles will believe?"
Cassie thought about it. "Yeah......I guess you're right," she agreed.
Meanwhile, Eddie is giving his condolences to Monica.
Candygwen
"Thank you so much!!! You just don't know how much this really means to me." said Monica hugging Eddie.
"It was nothing!!! I mean you invited us for Thanksgiving so I figured I returned the favor. Besides that son of yours really been looking after my daughter." said Eddie.
"Yeah he's really does care about Cassie alot." said Monica.
"I know and I think he's a great kid becoming a terrific young man." said Eddie.
"He is." said Monica with a smile.
Then Danny showed up and greeted Monica.
Batman642
Since Danny was talking to Monica, Eddie excused himself and went over to speak to Robin.
"Robin, my man, please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your father," Eddie told him, giving him a hug.
"Thanks, Sir. I'm sure you know, though, that there was no love lost," Robin admitted.
"Yeah, well, that's unfortunate too, son," Eddie told him in a serious tone. "But you've got people that love you, so you'll make out just fine," Eddie assured him.
"Most definitely, Sir," he said, quickly glancing at Cassie. "Thanks for letting Cassie come."
"If I didn't I'd never hear the end of it," Eddie said grinning at her.
"Dad!"
"Well.....it's true isn't it?" Eddie asked. "You'd have my head if I told you you couldn't come here and support Robin at a time like this!" he teased.
"But you'd never say that Dad, because you're the most wonderful Dad in the world....." she teased back.
"Flattery will get your everywhere," Eddie said, poking out his chest.
Robin smiled. "I'm sure glad you two came. I don't even feel down when I'm with you guys."
Cassie put her arm through Robin's . "That's what friends are for," she told him as she laid her head on his shoulder.
After a while, Eddie cleared his throat and gave Cassie a look and she stepped away from Robin.
"So Robin," Eddie began, "who's preaching at the funeral tomorrow?"
"No preaching, Sir. My Dad wasn't much for church," Robin answered. "We'll just let whoever wants to speak about him come up and say a few words."
"That should be interesting," Cassie remarked.
"Cassie, do you think we should be heading home now?" Eddie asked, hinting.
"Okay Dad," she agreed reluctantly. "Can I just have a minute with Robin--alone?"
"Good night, Robin," Eddie told him, shaking his hand.
"Thank you for coming, Mr. Sutton," Robin replied. "Get home safe."
"I'll be in the car, Cassie. Don't take too long," Eddie said, giving her another look.
Candygwen
"Thanks again for coming Cassie." said Robin.
"No problem!!! I know you & your dad don't get along he is still your father." said Cassie.
"I know...I just that I don't want to tell my mom or anybody but I sometimes wish my dad & I would patched things. I never expected for this to happened." said Robin.
"I know Robin!!! No one did. But I just want you I'm always there for you & I love you very much." said Cassie as she took Robin's hand and look him in his eyes.
"You're very special to me." said Cassie then she kissed Robin.
Robin was stunned.
"What was that for?" surprised Robin.
"Just to let you know you a wonderful person and for the record I love the poem you wrote. See you tomorrow." said Cassie as she left with a smile.
"Whoa that's definitely shocker of all times." said happy but stunned Robin.
Batman642
Robin went back into the room with the rest of the guests and started to mingle, but he couldn't get Cassie's kiss out of his mind and it showed.
Sage saw the goofy look on Robni's face, and she also saw something else. She went up to him and whispered in his ear, "You might want to wipe that dumb look off of your face, and while you're at it, wipe the lipstick off too."
Robin was caught off guard, not realizing Cassie had left lipstick on him. Before he could take Sage's advice, she took matters into her own hands and started wiping his mouth with her dinner napkin for him.
Robin didn't appreciate it, and backed away, frowning. "Hey, hey," he objected, grabbing her hand to stop her.
"I'm just trying to help, silly. Do you want everyone to know you were making out at your father's wake?"
"No one was making out, Sage!"
"Oh yeah, that's right--I forgot--you like to wear lipstick just for the thrill of it!" she replied sarcastically.
"Sage, shouldn't you be on your way home?" he asked bluntly.
She gave his suggestion some thought. "Hmmm.....maybe that's not such a bad idea. And on the way home, maybe I can stop by and pay CHARLES a visit..." she threatened with a devilish smile.
"Sage, for Christ's sake.....Like you said--this is my father's wake. So, can you give it a rest, PLEASE? Just this once, could you give a guy a break? After all, what have you got against me?" he asked, trying to keep his temper under control.
"I don't have anything against you. You just happen to be caught in the middle is all..." she replied.
"Well peep this, Sage. You'd better hope I stay in the middle, cuz if my back ever gets up against the wall, it' s do or die," he said with a cold stare.
Sage looked at him puzzled. "Wait a minute--was that a THREAT?" she asked in disbelief.
Robin ignored the question and flashed a big, phony smile. "Thanks for coming, Sage. And get home safe," he said as he dropped the lipstick-stained dinner napkin in her hand and walked away.
Candygwen
Then Danny came up.
"Hey babe is Mike so-called pride in joy giving you a hard time?" asked Danny.
Sage kept staring at Robin.
"Oh no not at all. He's just jealous that his father gave you the manager job instead of him." said Sage kissing Danny.
"Typical!!!! He has no class at all. And can you believe he haven't said a word to me all night. How rude?" annoyed Danny.
"Tell me about it." said Sage.
"Come on lets get out of here and blow this joint. I got plans for us tonight." said Danny with a lustful look.
"Oh okay." said Sage.
On the way out Sage was thinking about what Robin said to her.
"Robin you better watch it. That Robin really better watch how he talks to me because I can real bitch!!! He just lucky that this is his father's wake but he better watch it because I'm on to him and Cassie." said Sage thinking to herself.
Batman642
Meanwhile on the drive back home, Eddie noticed that Cassie was quiet and deep in thought.
"Cassie, you've hardly said a word since we got on the rode. Did the wake upset you?" Eddie asked.
"I feel bad for Robin. He didn't get a chance to make peace with his father," Cassie said.
"Oh. Yeah, that's too bad. I didn't want to tell him, but that's something that's gonna haunt him the rest of his life."
"Dad!" Cassie responded, mortified. "How can you say something like that?"
"It's true, Cassie. When a father and son don't have a good relationship, it affects the son's whole life whether he wants to admit it or not."
"Really Dad?" Cassie asked, feeling even sadder.
"But one thing I DID tell Robin is that he's got people that love him. So that'll help him out," Eddie said, trying to be more upbeat for his daughter's sake.
"His mom is great," Cassie agreed. "They've got a great relationship."
"And what about the two of you?" Eddie asked, curious. "No more hanky panky I hope....."
"Daaaaaaaaad....." Cassie whined, embarrassed.
"Cassie, if you wanna dance, you've gotta pay the band," he told her.
She sucked her teeth. "What's THAT supposed to mean?" she asked, clueless.
"It means, YOU took it there with Robin, so don't act all embarrassesd if someone brings it up."
"Dad, that was a LONG time ago. It was ONE TIME, and we both know it was wrong and a mistake. Okay?"
"Just checking, Cassandra. Just checking....." Eddie replied, turning on the radio.
Shut Up and Drive by Rihanna was playing, and Cassie laughed.
"What's so funny?" Eddie asked, clueless.
"Oh....nothing, Dad. Nothing at all...." she replied, humming.
Candygwen
Meanwhile Charles was at home up late drinking hot cocoa.
"Charles what are you doing still up?" asked Marla.
"I'm worry about Cassie. I haven't heard from her all day." said Charles.
"Charles I've told you she and her dad spending some time together." said Marla.
"Yeah and I won't see her tomorrow either." said Charles.
"Charles you are worry over nothing and I think it's for the better if you let Cassie spend time with her family. Especially this time of need. Plus you and I are doing something together tomorrow remember?" asked Marla.
"Oh yeah I almost forgot." said Charles.
Batman642
Marla shot him a look of disapproval. "Gee, thanks, son. I love you too!" she said sarcastically.
"Come on, Mom. You know I love you. I just forgot we're going out. I'm looking forward to it though," he told her, hoping she'd believe him.
"Just make sure you don't pull a fast one and stand me up, Charles," she warned him. "I'm going to bed, and I suggest you do the same."
Charles got up and put his empty mug in the sink. The two of them left the kitchen and Marla turned out the lights.
Candygwen
As Charles got upstairs Eddie and Cassie walked in the door.
"Hey!." greeted Charles.
"Charles." said Eddie.
"What are you doing up so late." said Cassie.
"I couldn't sleep I went downstairs to get something to drink." said Charles.
"How's my babies?" asked Cassie.
"Active as either. Remind me not to give them anymore chocoalate icecream." laughed Charles.
"Look like you have a busy day." said Cassie.
"You like you had a good time yourself beautiful and that dress is really turning me on." said Charles.
"Oh really?" said Cassie as the two begin to kiss.
Then Eddie grabbed Charles behind the neck and said don't even think about it. And Charles an evil grin and went upstairs to bed.
"So how was your evening?" asked Charles.
"It was nice. I got you some food from the wa---I mean the special outing." said Cassie.
"Cool thanks I'm stared. What's in it?" asked Charles.
"Just chicken, pasta, & sandwhiches & and slice of cake." said Cassie.
"I about tear this up." said Charles taking his food to the kitchen.
While Charles was eating Cassie was thinking about Robin.
"Hey beautiful so what are you & your dad are going to do tomorrow...Hello..Beautiful!!!" said Charles.
"Oh I'm sorry my I zoned out." said Cassie.
"Then you better get to bed. I'll tuck you in" said Charles.
"Charles." laughed Cassie.
"Everyone in their sleep we finally have our chance and I can get you out of that dress." said Charles as he picked Cassie up.
"Charles put me my down." laughed Cassie.
"Me Tarzan! You're Jan." said Charles.
"Alright Tarzan but be quiet we don't want to wake the twins." said Cassie.
Batman642
Just as they snuck into the room, Charles' cell phone started beeping.
"Who could have left me a voice mail at this time of night?" he asked, annoyed.
He put Cassie down on the bed and took a quick look at the missed call number.
"Who's number is it?" Cassie asked, forgetting all about Sage.
"I don't know, but I'll listen to the message later. Everyone I care about is in this house, so we're good to go, Beautiful," he said as he joined her on the bed and started to kiss her.
"Why didn't we think of this a long time ago, Charles?" Cassie managed to ask in between his kisses.
"Don't talk, Cassie....." he replied as he finally got his wish.
Candygwen
Charles got Cassie out of that dress and the two made love the whole night. Charles was relieved that he doesn't have take cold shower anymore. They made love until they both went to sleep. Later that night Cassie woke up thinking about Charles cell phone. She got up and took his cell to check his messages. The message is from Sage. Cassie played message.
"Hey Charles it's Sage. I've been thinking about you. And I'm real sorry that you missed Robin's Dad wake. But I'm sure that your sweet & innocent Cassie will tell you all about it especially the funeral tomorrow. Oh Cassie also kept Robin company and I say she did a real good job of cheering him up if you know what I mean.
Love Sage"
Cassie soon erased Sage message.
"That Bitch just doesn't know when to quit." said Cassie to herself.
Then Charles woke up.
"Hey beautiful what are you doing up? Want to go another round? Hey what are you doing with my cell phone?" asked Charles.
"Oh I was getting ready to charge your phone for you."lied Cassie.
'Thanks since I'm up I may as well check my message I got earlier." said Charles.
"Oh Charles I accidently erased your message." said Cassie.
"What!!!' shocked Charles.
"It was nobody important trust me." said Cassie.
"Alright but be more careful next time. I'm still applying to other auto school and I can't missed this call." said Charles.
"Lets go back to sleep." said Cassie.
Batman642
Meanwhile, Jenn and Eddie are in bed, but neither one of them can sleep.
"Eddie? You awake?" she asked as she tossed and turned.
"Thanks to you I am," he replied. "Can't you keep still, Jenn? he asked annoyed.
"I'm sorry, Eddie. I've got so much on my mind...."
"What's the problem, Jenn? You should be sleeping like a baby now that we've got the money to fix the house and all," he reasoned.
"I know, I know. But I'm worried about Tay," she told him. "You never let me know how things worked out at Spencer's house. Was he able to talk some sense into Tay? she asked.
Eddie moaned. "To be honest, Jenn, my father was no help at all. But don't worry because Sage was at the wake and told me she and Tay are JUST FRIENDS," he assured his wife.
"I hope she's telling the truth, Eddie. Tay's getting older and the last thing we need is another set of twins running around our house if you know what I mean."
Eddie chuckled. "Jenn, you're such a worry wart. Please try to get some sleep. Tay's not gonna make us grandparents any time soon, believe me."
Jenn sighed. "I hope you're right. Goodnight," she said as she rolled over and kissed her husband.
"Goodnight, Baby," he answered.
Candygwen
Everyone slept when it was 4am Cassie woke got out of bed.
"Hey beautiful where are you going now?" said awaked Charles.
"Back to my room" said Cassie.
"Baby can't you stay a few more minutes?" asked Charles.
"Charles I have to go back to my bedroom. If our folks catch us here we'll never hear the end of it." said Cassie.
"Hey sense that night was wonderful lets do it again tomorrow night." said Charles.
"I'll think about it." said Cassie.
"You know you enjoyed it." said Charles.
The two kissed.
"Get some sleep okay." said Cassie.
"Trust me I will. That night was worth it." said Charles.
"You are so nasty." said Cassie.
Cassie went back to her room. As she got back to her room she thought about Charles & Robin.
"What is with me? Why am I so confused? I can't worried about this. I better get some sleep." said Cassie.
Batman642.
Unfortunately, Colin and Kalie had other plans. As soon as Cassie put her head on the pillow, she heard her children next door in the nursery crying.
"Oh no....." she moaned as she stumbled out of bed and went to go check on them.
She picked up Colin and felt his forehead. "Please, God, don't let my babies have another fever....." she said softly.
She let out a sigh of relief when she realized that her son wasn't feverish. "Thank you, God!"
She kissed Colin on the nose and put him back in his crib. Then she got Kalie.
"Hey, babygirl..." she whispered, not wanting to wake up anyone else who might overhear them.
She felt Kalie's forehead and she seemed normal as well.
"What's wrong with you twins? Having a bad dream or something?" she asked softly as she tried to put Kalie back down.
"Hold me, Mommy...." Kalie begged, refusing to let go of Cassie's neck.
"Okay, okay, but only for a little while," Cassie told the little girl. "You two can't get sick, you hear? Last time you got sick I couldn't be with Uncle Robin and I don't want that to happen again."
"Where's Uncle Robin?" Kalie asked.
Then Colin stood up in his crib. "Uncle Robin!" he shouted.
"Shhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!" Cassie scolded. "Be quiet and lay down Colin!" she whispered.
But Colin ignored her and both children kept calling Robin's name over and over, louder and louder.
Before long, just as Cassie feared, Charles was standing in the doorway of the nursery, rubbing his eyes and yawning.
"Cassie? What's going on? Why are MY KIDS asking for ROBIN?" he asked, bewildered.
Candygwen
"It's nothing Charles they just miss Robin that's all." said Cassie.
"Well I don't so you two get over it." said Charles.
"CHARLES!!!" shocked Cassie.
"I was just kidding...damn." said Charles.
"Well don't joke like that. Kids take things the wrong way." said Cassie.
"Here's a bottle for you & you now go to sleep." said Charles as kissed the twins.
"Finally." said Cassie.
"Cassie is everything alright?" asked Charles.
"Everything fine I was just trying to get the twins to go back to sleep that's all." said Cassie.
"Well next time let me beautiful. This is what dads are for." said Charles as he kissed Cassie.
Soon Charles went back to bed. Cassie got ready to go back to her room.
"Mommy." said Kalie as she woke along with Colin.
"What sweetie." said Cassie.
"When will we see Uncle Robin again?" asked Kalie.
"Are you going to see Uncle Robin mommy?" asked Colin.
"Yes I'm going to see Uncle Robin again. And you two will see when I get a chance. But you have to stay quiet alright?" said Cassie.
"Okay." said The twins.
Cassie kiss the twins goodnight went off to bed. The next day Lizzie woke up and heard cell phone rang. She picked up and it was Devin.
Batman642
"Devin! Did you get my letter?" Lizzie asked, tired but excited.
"Yeah, Lizard. I'm sorry I wasn't staying in touch like I should have. Things are kind of hectic here," he explained.
"Why? What's going on?" Lizzie wanted to know.
"Well for one thing, Stacy and my mom are at each other's throats most of the time because -- well -- you know how Stacy is...." he said kind of embarrassed.
"So what's that got to do with you?"
"I'm TRYING to keep the peace, LIzard. It ain't easy. Women are CRAZY!" he complained.
"EXCUSE YOU???" Lizzie said, insulted.
"Oh--oh--not YOU, Lizard. I meant the Kingston women," he said cleaning up his mess.
"mmmm hmmmm" Lizzie responded skeptical. "ANYWAY, I hope things work out for you guys," she said changing the subject.
"Wellllll....I might be coming back to live with my Dad," he told her.
Lizzie's eyes lit up and her happiness came through over the telephone. "OMG! That would be great, Devin! I really miss you!" she told him sincerely.
"I miss you too. But if I come back, I don't know if I'll be able to see you. My dad--your dad--the fight at Cassie's prom--see what I'm saying?"
"Oh....." Lizzie replied sadly. "Can't we work around it?"
"I guess we could. But first I gotta get back. I'll let you know what's going down, Lizard, I promise."
"You better! Otherwise you'll be saying the Sutton women are crazy too!" she threatened.
They both laughed and said their goodbyes.

Meanwhile as Charles was geing dressed his cell began to ring.
It was an unknown number, but he decided to answer out of curiousity.
"Hello?"
"Charles, Its me Sage. How's my prom king doing?", asked Sagin an suducive tone.
"I'm fine, but why are you calling me?", asked Charles caught off-guard.
"Didn't you get my mesage yesterday, or didnt' Cassie tell you about the wake?, said Sage already knowing the answer.
"What wake! Sage its to early for lies", said Charles
"Mike's wake. Robin even came back for the wake and funeral. H and Cassi were have a wonderful time runiting yesterday", said Sage.
"WHAT!!! How do you expect me to belive you?", said Charles with building rage.
"I have no reason to lie Charles. I just belive you have a right to know, don't you?", asked Sage happy with vengence, "but anyway I us wantd you to know that the wake is today a two. I hope to see you their".
"Oh, you will", said aggressivley hanging up the phone

After punching the wall a few times, Charles calmed down. He decided he was going to handle the situation more maturely since he promised Cassie he was a changed man.
He finished dressing, and went through the house looking for Cassie. He finally found her in Lizzie's room where they were talking about Devin.
"Good morning, Chuck!" Lizzie greeted him with a big smile. "Big sis here was just giving me some romance advice," she informed him.
"Good morning Charles," Cassie also greeted him, smiling.
"Good morning ladies," Charles said but without a smile. "Cassie, may I speak to you privately? It's important."
Cassie looked surprised and immediately got up from Lizzie's bed. "Sure, Charles. Are you okay?" she asked, concerned.
He took her arm and gently led her out of Lizzie's room. "Come on, let's go to the den and talk," he suggested.
"We'll finish talking later Lizzie!" Cassie yelled over her shoulder as she stumbled down the hallway, following Charles' lead.
He led her down the stairs and into the den where he closed the door behind them. "Take a seat, Cassie," he told her.
Cassie had never seen Charles like this before and it made her nervous. "Charles, what's this about?" she asked.
"Cassie! Please! Sit!" he insisted, sitting himself.
Reluctantly she sat down, not liking his tone. "Okay, okay, I'm sitting. NOW WHAT?" she asked, tired of the suspense.
Charles looked her straight in the face and let out a deep sigh. "Cassie, is there ANYTHING that you haven't told me lately that you SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME?" he asked bluntly.
Cassie gave him a blank look and didn't say anything.
"Well???" he challenged her.

Then Eddie walked in...
"Hey Cassie come on get dress. You don't want to be late for our little outing." said Eddie hinting not to be late for the funeral.
"Cassie & I are in a middle of an important conversation." said Charles.
"It can wait." said Eddie.
"No it can't." said Charles with a deep tone.
"YES IT CAN!!!" said Eddie with a deeper tone as he walked toward Charles toe to toe.
"Fine, we'll finished this later." said Charles.
Cassie washed up and got dressed.
"God I hope Charles didn't find out about Robin and the wake and the funeral." worried Cassie.
Meanwhile Charles was pacing back & forth and he was determine to get some answered so he to the bathroom until Eddie stopped him.
"Where are going Charles?" asked Eddie.
"I just waiting for Cassie sir." said Charles.
"I think I hear your mother calling you." said Eddie.
"With all do respect sir this is between me and your daughter." said Charles.
"Not today...not today now go hang out with your mother now." said Eddie.
Charles stormed downstairs.
"(sigh) How did I get caught up in this mess?" wondered Eddie as he rolled his eyes.

Marla was already downstairs, dressed and ready to go out for breakfast with her son, but watching him come down the stairs, she noticed right away that he was upset.
“Charles, it’s early in the morning and you’re in a bad mood already?” she joked, hoping to snap him out of it.
“Yeah, well, some people have that affect on me, Mom,” he replied as he walked past her and towards the kitchen.
Marla followed him. “Don’t ruin your appetite, Charles,” she warned. “You won’t be able to eat breakfast at Denny’s.”
“I’m not gonna ruin my appetite, Mom. I need ice for my hand,” he told her as he showed her his red knuckles.
“OMG! Who did you hit?!” she asked, panicking.
Charles opened the refrigerator and got the ice and put some in a towel and nursed his swollen knuckles.
“I didn’t hit anyone! I hit the wall a few times, though.”
“But why? Charles, what’s going on?” Marla asked, very worried.
“Mom, I got a call from Sage. She tells me that Mike--your ex--died. She tells me Robin is in town and that him and Cassie were together last night at Mike’s wake. And I think she said the funeral is today. Cassie hasn’t told me anything about any of this, and I don’t know if I should believe Sage. I tried talking with Cassie about it, but Mr. Sutton came in and just wrecked everything,” Charles told his mother.
“OMG, Charles! Mike died?” Marla pretended.
“According to Sage,” Charles reminded her.
“I don’t know, Charles. All of this sounds very strange to me….” Marla said, hoping she could convince him.
“It does, doesn’t it?” Charles agreed, not wanting to believe Cassie would deceive him.
“Cassie was with her father last night. Eddie wouldn’t go to Mike’s wake, Charles, you know that. Eddie’s the one that arrested Mike when he beat me up--remember?” she asked.
“Yeah, you’re right.”
“And that SAGE! She’s nothing but trouble, Charles! If you’re smart, you won’t listen to ANYTHING she tells you,” Marla advised.
Charles thought about what his mother was saying.
“How’s your hand, honey?” Marla asked, changing the subject intentionally.
“It feels a little better.”
“Good. How’s the wall?” Marla asked, pushing him playfully.
“A lot better than my hand--that’s for sure!” he chuckled.
“Charles, let’s just go out for our nice mother/son breakfast and let Cassie and Eddie do their thing and forget about Sage and her wild stories. Okay?” Marla asked, rubbing Charles’ back.
Charles nodded, deep in thought. “Sounds good, Mom. Let’s go.”

Meanwhile Eddie was driving Cassie to the funeral.
"Cassie you want to tell me what just happened this morning between you & Charles?" asked Eddie.
"It's Sage dad. She trying to stir up trouble again." said Cassie.
"Oh come on now Sage?!?" laughed Eddie.
"Dad Sage called on Charles cell hinting that I was at the wake and I was messing around with Robin." said Cassie.
"Were you?" asked Eddie.
"DAD!!!" upseted Cassie.
"Just asking." chuckled Eddie.
"Of course not. Sage is out trying to ruin things for me and Charles." said Cassie.
"Cassie don't you think you're overreacting just a bit?" asked Eddie.
"Dad you don't know Sage like I do. She is trouble you know that. And she trying to ruined the funeral." said Cassie.
"I doubt that Sage would go that far but if it make you happy I'll sit next to her." said Eddie.
"Thanks Dad." said Cassie.
They arrived the funeral.
"Cassie, Eddie I'm glad you both made it. I need to talk to you both." said Monica.
"Hey what's going on." said Monica.
"It's Robin he refuses go in and viewed the body. I tried reasoning with him, I tried convining him and everything. But he just want to stay out in lobby until the service is over." said Monica.
"I think I understand where he's coming from. When my mother was killed it was hard for me to see her in casket." said Eddie.
"May I go talk to him?" asked Cassie.
"Sure." said Eddie.
As Cassie went to find Robin, Rev. Kingston showed up.
"What the hell are you doing hre?" asked Eddie.
"I was going to asked you the same thing. What's your angle in all this?" asked Rev. Kingston.
"My Daughter's friend father is dead and I am for them." said Eddie.
"Figured." said Rev. Kingston.
"Eddie I wanted him to preach at service. I'll figure it'll good be good for Robin." said Monica.
"But do you know who this guy is?" asked Eddie.
"Look I came to preach that is all." said Rev. Kingston.
"Come on Eddie lets go in." said Monica.
Eddie and Rev. Kingston was looking at dead at each other eyes.
Meanwhile Cassie found Robin listening to his ipod.
"Robin there you are I've been looking all over for you." said Cassie.
"If you trying to convince to view the body it's not going to happened." said Robin.
"Robin you have to." said Cassie.
"I think you better be with your dad Because it's not a good idea to be alone with me right now." said Robin.
"Why?" confused Cassie.
"Sage that's why. The girl is trying to stir up trouble again. This girl discovered liptick on me when you kissed me yesterday." said Robin.
"Oh my God!!! Sage tried to call Charles and told him I was at the wake yesterday." said Cassie.
"What happened." surprised Robin.
"He was a bit upset when heard it. I didn't say anything about it because my dad interfere. Hopefully Charles didn't buy what Sage was saying." said Cassie.
"But to be on the safe side we have to watch our step because she will find a way to wreck things just for the fun of it. So you need to stay away from me." said Robin.
"NO WAY!!! I am your friend." said Cassie.
"Cassie I don't want to ruined your relationship with Charles and I sure don't want that fool to come out and try to kill me again...Now go in there be with your father." said Robin.
"Now Robin look!!! You are not going to push me away. I love you and you are special to me. We are not going to let Sage intimidate us. You have been there for me so now it's my turn to be there for you. And I telling you need to be there and view the body I will be there by your side." said Cassie.
"What about Sage?" asked Robin.
"THE HELL WITH SAGE!!!! She is not my concerned you are. It's bad enough that you didn't make peace with your father but for you to not even see the body come on Robin. I not worry about Sage nor I feel guilty kissig you. I don't want you to do something that you'll regret later. Please for me view the body." said Cassie as sheher hand out to Robin.
Robin finally took Cassie hand and went inside.
Batman642
As they slowly approached the casket, Cassie could feel Robin's palm was getting all sweaty, but being a good friend and not wanting him to be embarrassed just made her hold his hand even tighter.
Neither one of them noticed that Sage and Danny were seated already, but of course Sage spotted them as soon as they walked in.
Sage nudged Danny. "Look! They're holding hands!" she said, delighted as she reached into her purse for her camera phone.
"WHO'S holding hands?" Danny asked, looking around at the crowd.
Sage slapped his thigh. "Up there, dummy! Cassie and Robin! They're holding hands. This is gonna be great!" she said giggling a little as she aimed her camera phone.
She was totally taken by surprise when Danny snatched the phone away from her face.
"Hey! What you do that for?" she asked, outdone.
"First off, the name's Danny. Not Dummy. Got it?" he asked, glaring at her.
Sage gulped and nodded. "Sorry, Danny. Can I have my phone now?" she asked, humbled.
"Sage, I'm not into all of this Gossip Girl crap. We're here to pay respects to the dead and his family, not to ruin someone's rep. Got that?" he asked.
"But she's cheating on Charles! And now I can PROVE it!" she explained, frustrated.
"You don't know that, and even if it's true, what's it to you? You and Charles still got something going on between you?" he asked.
"No Danny! Don't be ridiculous!"
"Well then take your own advice and YOU stop being ridiculous. Pay more attention to me, and less to Cassie," he suggested as he put his arm around her.
"What about my phone?" she insisted.
Danny turned it off and dropped it into his shirt pocket and patted his chest. "It'll be right here for safe keeping," he assured her.
Sage sucked her teeth and slumped down in her chair. Just then, Eddie sat in the empty chair next to her.
"Good morning, Sage," he said with a phony smile.
"God....could this day get any WORSE?" Sage mumbled to herself.
"I'm sorry, what did you say?" Eddie asked, not hearing her.
Sage gave him a weak smile. "Nothing Mr. Sutton. Just talking to myself is all..."
Eddie reached across Sage and shook Danny's hand.
Meanwhile, Cassie and Robin were up at the casket viewing the body...
Candygwen
"Robin open your eyes and look at it. Don't be afraid just look at it." said Cassie.
Robin finally saw his Dad in the Casket. Robin froze motionless not saying a word.
"It's okay sweetheart we can sit down. Come on." said Cassie as she took Robin's hand.
Sage was watching the whole thing with an evil grin.
"Cassie you are so busted. If only if I had my cell phone." said Sage to herself.
Monica came and sat next to Eddie.
"Then Robin came inside yet?" asked Monica.
"Yes Cassie finally took him and got him to view the body." said Eddie.
"That daughter of you she....a good girl." said Monica.
"I know." said Eddie.
Then Rev. Kingston and got ready to preach.
"Who's he?" confused Robin.
"That's Reverend Kingston but what is he doing here?" wondered Cassie.
Batman642
Robin excused himself from Cassie for a minute and went over to where Monica and Eddie were seated.
He whispered in Monica's ear, "You got a preacher and didn't tell me?"
"I thought it would be good for you," she whispered back.
Robin was annoyed and gestured for his mother to follow him to the back of the room so they could talk openly. When they got back there, Monica continued explaining.
"I was worried about you, honey."
"First off, Mom, Dad was a Mormon. Is this Rev a Mormon?" he asked.
"I don't know, Robin, but that doesn't matter. It's all the same."
"And second, I got out of the religion and so did Dad."
"Fine, but just sit and listen to what the man has to say, Robin. It might bring you some comfort," she tried to persuade him.
"I thought we agreed to have people step up and share a memory or something like that," Robin continued, irate.
"Well we can do that too, honey," she agreed. "Come on, it looks lilke he's gonna start talking any second, Robin," she said grabbing his arm and pulling him toward the seating area.
But Robin resisted a bit and she couldn't budge him.
"I'm not feeling this, Mom. This isn't what we agreed on," he told her firmly.
"Why are you making such a big deal, Robin? You're supposed to be here for moral support---not to give me a hard time! Now come on and let's go sit down!"
This time Robin allowed Monica to lead him down the aisle back to the seats. When they got back to Eddie, Cassie was there next to her father so Robin sat next to Cassie and Monica sat next to Robin.
"You okay?" Cassie whispered to Robin.
Robin nodded and then put his arm around his Mother as the Reverend started his sermon.
Candygwen
"Cassie is this Kingston guy is a mormon?" asked Robin.
"Of course not." said Cassie
"Thank God!!! Maybe this won't be too bad." said Robin.
"Shhh quiet you two." said Monica.
Cassie and Robin remain quiet and holding hands. Reverend Kingston preach for two hours then there were people came up and said a few words about Mike.
Batman642
Meanwhile at Denny's....
"So, Charles, what looks good?" Marla asked, reading the menu.
"Everything looks good, Mom. I'm starving!" Charles said anxiously, licking his lips.
After they put their order in, they waited patiently and Marla had a little smile on her face, admiring Charles.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" he asked, feeling uncomfortable.
"Because I love you, honey," she said softly, "and I'm very proud of you. I don't think I tell you that enough, Charles, and for that I'm sorry."
"It's okay. I know it. Anyway, you were gonna tell me about this dude, Bill. Is he on the up and up?" Charles asked, changing the subject.
Marla's smile got even bigger. "I think he's the one, Charles!" she said excitedly.
"Whooooooaaaa....Mom.......slow your roll," Charles advised.
Marla laughed. "Okay, okay. Let's just saaaaaay....I like him alot. How's that?"
"Cool. I'm happy for you," he told her with a grin. "Where's the FOOD?" he complained.
"She just took our order, Charles. Give her some time!"
"So tell me more about Bill," he suggested. "Where'd he take you? What'd you eat? Did he pay for everything?"
"Ahem! I think you should slow YOUR roll, Charles. What's with all the questions?" Marla asked.
"Well that's why we're here Mom. That's what you said--let's go out so I can tell you about my date with Bill. So--here we are.....tell me. Otherwise, I could be with Cassie right now."
Marla sucked her teeth. "So your mind is really on Cassie--you're just humoring me?" she asked, offended.
"Mom! This was YOUR IDEA, and I agreed to it. So.......let's do this. Tell me about Bill," Charles urged.
Then Marla abruptly pushed away from the table and started to get up. "I'm going to the rest room. I'll be right back," she told him.
"Okay, whatever...." Charles replied.
When Marla was gone, Charles took the opportunity to send Cassie a quick text: "Whatcha doin, Beautiful? Miss me?"
Cassie's phone beeped in the middle of Rev. Kingston's sermon. Embarrassed, she put it on silent and read his text. Robin looked over at her phone and saw the text also. He and Cassie exchanged glances, and then she sent Charles a quick text back.....
Candygwen
"What did you text him?" whispered Robin.
"I told him that me and my dad are in the middle of something now shhh." said Cassie as held Robin's hand.
Charles got Cassie's message then he text her back saying that he is bored.
Cassie's cell started vibrated and she saw another text from Charles.
"Sorry Charles but this is too importrant." said Cassie as she put the phone back into her purse.
During the serman more and more people spoke about Mike. The good times and bad times they have together. As they spoke Robin was very silence and didn't say a word and Cassie was staring at him as she continued to hand his hand.
Then Mike secretary got up and said a few words. Monica knew the secretary is the one Mike had the affair with. Then more people cam and talk.
Menawhile back at Dennys Marla returned to to her seat and Charles ttried to apologized to her.
Batman642
"I was out of line, Mom," Charles said as she sat back down at the table. "Forgive me?" he asked with a childish pout on his face.
Of course, Marla melted. "Oh baby....I know how you get when you're starving," she excused him. "Of course I forgive you," she said touching his hand.
Then the waitress came with a big serving tray.
"Alright! Now that's what I'm talking about..." Charles commented, rubbing his hands together in eager expectation.
Marla giggled, watching her son drooling over the food as it was set out before them.
"Calm down, sweetie."
"Mom--you have NO idea how starved I am!" he told her.
"If I didn't know any better, Charles, I'd say with THAT appetite, you and Cassie must have been going at it all night!" Marla commented, jokingly.
But then she saw how red Charles' face was getting and realized she'd hit the nail on the head.
"Chaaaaarrrllllesss..." she said in an angry tone of voice, "how DARE you!" she reprimanded him.
Charles stayed quiet and frozen, not touching anything on his plate, and not having the nerve to look Marla in the eye.
"God! I'm SO STUPID when it comes to the two of you!" she scolded herself outloud. "And here I am, trying to be a COOL mom and a FRIEND to Cassie, and all the while the TWO of you are playing me for a fool!" she said throwing down her napkin in disgust.
This time, Charles looked up and his eyes met his mother's eyes. "Friend to Cassie? What's that supposed to mean?" he asked suspiciously.
Marla was so angry that the house rules had been violated that she didn't even care about covering for Cassie any longer.
"You ask Cassie, Charles. LET HER TELL YOU--the little LIAR!" she replied angrily as she shoved a forkful of pancakes in her mouth.
Candygwen
"Mom it wasn't Cassie idea I planned it. She even refuses. So please don't call her names. If you want to be mad at someone be mad at me. I've trying to get Cassie spend some alone time together." said Charles.
"Oh I'm not just mad I am furious. Why do you insist on breaking the rules?" angered Marla.
"All I want is to be with Cassie." said Charles.
"I want to be with Bill too I don't break the rules and get freaking with him and have babies." said Marla.
"That's not fair mom. Anyway what do you mean by Cassie lying?" wondered Charles.
Then Bill showed up.
"Did someone mentioned my name?" asked Bill.
Batman642
Marla's whole expression changed when she saw Bill, and Charles couldn't believe the difference.
She gave him a big, beautiful smile and started to get up, but he stopped her.
"Please, please, sit, sit, Marla. Don't get up on my account," he said graciously.
Marla blushed like a love-struck teen. "This is such a wonderful surprise!" she told him.
"For me, you mean. It's a wonderful surprise FOR ME," Bill corrected her.
Marla giggled. "Oh Bill! You're so sweet...." she said, batting her eyes.
Charles cleared his throat, extended his hand and shook hands with Bill. "Good to see you again," he said.
"Charles, right?" Bill asked.
"That's right. Care to join us?" Charles asked, hoping Bill would accept the offer and take some of the heat off of him.
Bill hesitated. "I.....don't want to.........impose," he said, unsure.
Marla looked like she'd been hit by a ton of bricks. "IMPOSE???? YOU????"
"Please, my mother and I would love for you to join us," Charles assured him.
"Well.....if you're SURE," Bill started to agree.
"Don't make me beg, Bill," Marla said, smiling flirtaciously(sp?).
She slid over and made room for him so that Bill could sit next to her in the booth.
"Thanks," he sat sitting down. "Now, as I was saying, I believe I heard mention of my name."
"I was just making a point with my son, Bill. I was trying to explain to him how ADULTS conduct themselves in a relationship. You know how these kids are--they THINK they're grown, but they act anything but grown. Especially when it comes to sex!"
"MOM!! Do you mind??!" Charles asked, getting loud.
"Charles, you're on very thin ice right about now, so if I were you, I'd watch the way I talk to my mother," Marla advised sternly.
Bill looked uneasy as he started to slide out of the booth. "Maybe this wasn't such a good idea afterall," he said. "Looks like I came at a bad time....."
"STAY!!" Charles and Marla shouted in unison.
Marla grabbed his arm. "PLEASE," she added, "stay Bill. I'm sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable," she apologized.
"Well.......alright," he finally agreed.
The waitress came by and noticed him. "Oh, shall I get another place setting?" she asked.
"Yes and a menu, please," Bill requested.
When the watiress left, all three of them were quiet. Finally Bill broke the silence.
"So Charles....how are those cute little twins of yours?"
Candygwen
"There're fine!!! They starting to talk...just a little too much." said Charles.
"Haha if you think that's something wait until they get into their terrible twos." laughed Bill.
"I'll bet they'll think twice before having sex." said Marla.
"Mom." said Charles rollin' his eyes.
"How is that girlfriend of yours?" asked Bill.
"She doing alright." said Charles.
"May I get you anything sir?" asked waitress.
"Nothing much just bacon & eggs." said Bill.
Meanwhile back at the funeral Monica finally got up to say a few words about Mike. She was tearing up. Robin didn't want to look at his mother as he feared that he may breakdownn crying as well.
Eddie ran up there to comfort her as she spoke a few words about Mike.
Batman642
With Eddie's arms around her, Monica regained her composure and was able to continue.
"The last time I saw Mike was on Thanksgiving Day when he came to my apartment, unannounced and uninvited, with a big bottle of red wine. He thought he was doing something nice. He thought I was all alone and needed some cheering up. That's the kind of guy he was--rough on the outside, but way, way, way, waaaay down inside--he had a soft spot. And that's why I'll miss him and will never stop loving him completely," she told the audience.
She walked over to the casket, looked down at her ex-husband for several seconds and then gently kissed Mike's forehead. Then Eddie escorted her back to her seat.

As Kingston return all of a sudden Sabrina come down suprisely and wanted say a few words about Mike.
"Who is that girl?" shocked Robin.
"Sabrina." angered Cassie.
"What!?!?" stunned Robin.
"I don't believe this. It's bad enough I have to deal with Sage now I have to see her God!!" annoyed Cassie.
"I take it you know her?" asked Robin.
"Lets just say shetried to take Charles away from me." said Cassie.
"But she's old." said Robin.
"And she's married." said Cassie.
"Wow Charles knows how to
