"My God this can't be happening. No...no..NOO!! This cannot be happening to me. God am I being punished? This cannot be happneing." said Cassie as she was feeling dizzy and stressed.
With all the worry and drama Cassie passed out and fainted.
"Oh my God someone get help." screamed Marla.
The nurse and doctors ran and got Cassie and took her to a room and layed her in bed. The doctor checked on Cassie while the nurse ran and got some water.
Cassie finally woke up.
"Cassie I need to drink some water." said the doctor.
Cassie slowly drank.
"Cassie are you alright?" worried Mala.
"I'm fine thanks." said Cassie.
"What happened?" asked Marla.
"From the look of it she is stressed out and exshausted. Let her rest a few minutes and then take her home show she can get some proper rest." said the doctor as he left.
"My God so much has happened." depressd Marla.
"Mrs. A what just happened?" confused Cassie as she tried to get up.
Batman642
"You don't remember what happened, Cassie?" Marla asked.
"No......" Cassie replied.
Marla wondered should she refresh Cassie's memory or leave her in the dark for her own good.
"Mrs. A????" Cassie insisted.
"Cassie..... Charles is very sick, honey. But--so are you. Just stay here and rest awhile, okay?" she said as she tucked Cassie in the hospital bed.
"But--"
"Shhh....." Marla put her finger gently over Cassie's lips, preventing her from voicing any objections. "Just rest for a little while--for me--okay?"
Cassie gave in and nodded, closing her eyes. Marla waited a few minutes and then quietly left the room and headed downstairs to the lobby.
When she got to the lobby she glanced around, hoping to see Dana and the twins. She let out a sigh of relief when she spotted them by the candy machine.
"Dana!" she called as she ran over to them
Dana turned around and smiled. "Hey girl! How's Charles doing?"
Marla's face told the whole story and Dana's smile quickly disappeared.
"Oh no.....what's wrong?" she asked.
Marla told her about the blood poisoning and Cassie's fainting spell.
"No way!" Dana responded in disbelief. "You mean they're BOTH lying up in the hospital? Charles AND Cassie??"
Marla nodded as she held her hand to her forehead, distressed. "I don't know if I can take much more of this, Dana...."
"Oh Marla, now........don't go geting all soft on me....." Dana said nervously.
"Dana! You're a mother--you know how you'd feel if YOUR SON was in critical condition! You wouldn't be all strong and tough and you know it!" Marla reminded her. "That's my SON up there in ICU! My ONLY SON! What if he dies?!"
"You can't think like that, Marla! Robin was in a coma and look how fast he came out of it? Charles can do the same--I just know it!"
Marla slowly walked away from Dana and stood by the lobby window and just stared outside. Dana, with a twin on each side of her, came and stood next to Marla, not saying anything for awhile.
"Listen girl," Dana said finally, "why don't you stay down here and babysit for a few minutes? I'll go up and check on Cassie. Is she in Charles' old room?"
Marla nodded as she continued to stare sadly out of the window.
"Okay. Watch the twins," Dana told her as she turned and headed upstairs to check on Cassie.

Meanwhile back home at Lincoln Heights Jenn saw holding three Lakers tickets.
"Eddie where did you get those tickets?" Jenn asked.
"I got the tickets from Jeron. Him and Lizzie are going to the Lakers game and guess who's coming with them?" asked Eddie
"Let me guess you joined them to mess up their fun?" asked Jenn.
"My point exactly." said Eddie.
"Eddie you need to stop being so overprotective of your daughters and let them grow up." said Jenn.
"Oh no you won't there when I saw them making out on the couch." said Eddie.
"What?" surprsied Jenn.
"There is no way I'm going to keep my eye off of them and risk having to raise another teenage mother." said Eddie.
"Well anyway where and how did Jeron get the tickets?" asked Jenn.
"That's what I'm going to find out." said Eddie as he called Spencer on the phone.
Batman642
"Eddie, my man, how's it going? Are we getting together for some more renovation work on your house?" Spencer asked.
"Yeah, Pops, but that's not why I'm calling," Eddie replied.
"So what's up?"
"First, let me not be rude -- how are you doing today?"
"I'm doing just fine. Vera's treating me like the African King that I am! How are things your way?"
"Cassie's in San Diego with Jenn's parents and she took the twins. Charles followed them a few days later and now he's in the hospital, so his mom went out there and took Dana with her for support. So it's just me, Jenn and the kids in this big old house for the time being."
"I see......"
"Dana's son is here too. Jeron. You know him, don't you?"
"Of course I know Jeron! We were just together at your house the other day fixing the place up, weren't we?"
"Yeah, yeah, we were. So uh........how'd it come about that you gave him 3 Laker's tickets?" Eddie asked.
Spencer laughed. "You're funny, Eddie--real funny!"
"No--I'm serious, Pops," Eddie replied.
Spencer stopped laughing. "Now, Eddie--you know good and well I ain't givin' NOBODY 3 Lakers tickets--let alone some little snot-nose, wanna-be gangster like Jeron. Where'd you get a fool's notion like that?"
"Mmmmmmm......just like I thought....." Eddie remarked.
"Say what?" Spencer asked, puzzled.
"Oh! Nothing Pops! Sorry to bother you," Eddie apologized.
"No need to apologize, son. You gave me a good laugh!! Thanks!!" Spencer said. "Is that all you wanted?"
"That was it. I'll get back to you later about fixing up my house some more."
"Looking forward to it, son," Spencer fibbed.
Eddie hung up the phone and faced Jenn who was waiting to hear what Spencer had to say.
"That boy is one B.S. Artist if I ever saw one!" Eddie complained to his wife.
"Jeron?"
"YES JERON!!! My father didn't give him these tickets!!"
"Get out...... Do you think they're........STOLEN?" Jenn asked alarmed.
Eddie rolled his eyes and looked at his wife with a smirk on his face. "Ya think, Jenn???"
"Eddie, I'm a NURSE, NOT A COP--Okay? No need to get smart with me!" she snapped, insulted.
Eddie felt bad and pulled her close and gave her a hug.
"Sorry, Baby--you're right. But to answer your question, Jenn, YES, THESE TICKETS ARE SO HOT THEY'RE BURNING MY FINGERS," he said, waving the tickets back and forth.
"Poor Jeron......" Jenn replied sadly.
"POOR JERON??? Jenn, are you SERIOUS? On second thought, Jenn, you're right-- POOR JERON!! 'CAUSE HE'S GONNA GET THE CRAP KICKED OUT OF HIM!" Eddie said, furious.
Meanhile, in San Diego, Dana is upstairs in the hospital room with Cassie, feeling her forehead.
"You sure you're okay?" she asked as Cassie started to sit up.
"I'm sure. I wanna see Charles," Cassie told her anxiously getting off the bed.
"Slow down, girl...." Dana advised. "He ain't goin' nowhere from what I understand!"
Cassie shot Dana a look of disapproval. "That is SO NOT FUNNY, Dana!"
"I wasn't trying to be funny, Cassie. I'm just saying, there' s no need to go rushing and hurt yourself is all," she explained.
But Cassie was already walking out of the room to find the Intensive Care Unit.

Cassie finally found Charles in ICU. Charles was passed out and Cassie walked up to him and stroke his face.
"Oh Charles what will ever become of us. God does this keep happening to us. Robin was right. I should've worked things out with you. Even though I think Robin making a foolish mistake by marrying Lulu he really does have a point. I wanna make our relationship work Charles. You got to pull out of this...for me and the twins. I don't know what happened between us. Three years ago we were inseparatable but now we drifted apart. Charles please I want to try to things out with you. We will even go to counseling and get help. And even if it doesn't work out, I want you to still be there for the twins. Just don't die on me and the twins. I just can't handle that." said Cassie as she begin to tear up.
"Come on Cassie lets go." said Dana.
Meanwhile back at the Heights Jeron got a phone call. And it was Rev. Kingston.
"Hey whatsup." said Jeron answered.
"Does anyone know about me and those tickets I gave you?" asked Rev. Kingston.
"He got the tickets but I didn't tell him it's from you." said Jeron.
"Good Good!." said Rev. Kingston.
"Say why are you being so nice to me and are you sure you promise get Grandma house back?" asked Jeron.
"Hey got you a date with Lizzie didn't I?" asked Rev. Kingston.
"Well...yeah." said Jeron.
"I'm here to help for the those in need. I want you to be happy with Lizzie. I'm going to give you the best. Just remember you owe me a favor after all this okay." said Rev. Kingston.
"Alright whatever man." said Jeron.
"And remember not one word to Mr. Sutton." said Kingston.
"Alright me damn quit sweatin me yo." said Jeron.
"Don't fuck with me Jeron or it'll be your biggest mistake ever." said Rev. Kingston as he hung up.
"Hey Jeron who was that on the phone?" asked Lizzie.
Batman642
Jeron gave her a sly smile. "Don't worry, Shawty--you're the only one for me," he told her, looking her up and down.
Lizzie blushed a little. "I don't know what I'm gonna do with you....." she sighed.
"You don't? I got LOTS of ideas," he assured her as he looked her up and down even more.
"Oh brother......." Lizzie rolled her eyes. "This is why my Dad is coming with us to the game, Jeron."
"Hmph! Ain't no thang, Girl! He can come if he wants to--it's a free country. With all those people there, we can EASILY give him the slip. One minute he'll see us, the next minute he won't--you feelin' me?"
"Nooooo.....because you're forgetting my Dad's been a cop for a long time! You think you can give him the slip? Think again, Jeron," she advised.
"Shawty, I KNOW we can give him the slip--you just wait and see!" he bragged. "Now come here and let me taste some of that lip gloss," he said as he took her hand and pulled her closer.
Lizzie giggled. "Betcha can't figure out what flavor it is...." she dared him.
"Bet you I CAN!" he replied, calling her bluff.
Meanwhile, back in the Utah hospital, while tired Robin is taking a nap, Lulu decides while sitting in his room that it's time to call and get Cassie's reaction to their engagement.
Cassie's cell rings while she's in the Lobby of the San Diego Hospital. She sees Lulu's name on the screen and sighs.
"Not now, Lulu......." Cassie moans outloud to herself.
Dana overhears her. "You don't want to talk to your friend, Cassie?"
"I really don't--not now, Dana. I'm not up to it," Cassie said as her phone continues to ring.
Dana puts her hand out. "Gimme the phone then. I'll talk to her for you," she volunteered.
She gets the phone from Cassie, steps a few feet away and answers it.
"Hey Lulu, girl, what's going down?"
"Dana??? Is that you?" Lulu squeals happily.
"Yeah, girl it's me. How you doin?" Dana asked in a friendly tone.
"I couldn't be better, Dana! Did Cassie tell you the news?" she asked excited.
"Yeah, she told me Robin's out of his coma! That's great, girl!"
"I know, I know! But I meant THE OTHER NEWS!" Lulu explained.
"Other news? Noooooo......what other news?" Dana asked curiously.
Lulu giggles happily. "Robin and I are ENGAGED, Dana! He asked me to MARRY HIM!! Can you BELIEVE IT???"
"Say WHAAAAAAT?????" Dana responds, shocked.
Candygwen
"Wow Cassie never told me that." said Dana.
"Cassie must be still overjoyed with the news." said Lulu.
"I don't know about overjoyed but she must shocked as I am." said Dana.
"Yeah I have to admit I was shock myself but my boo really loves. He even thinking starting a family with me. Isn't crazy?" asked Lulu.
"Very Crazy. Lulu are you and Robin ready for this?" asked Dana.
"I guess so." said Lulu.
"What do you mean you guess. Are or aren't you?" asked Dana.
"Dana aren'tyou happy for me?" asked Lulu.
"Lulu I am. I just shocked that's all. You and Robin are very young. I really think you two need to think and talk about this." said Dana.
"Oh Dana how can I? I am so happy. Oh I gotta go. Tell Cassie to call me bye." said Lulu.
"Lulu wait.." said Dana but Lulu hung out.
"How could Robin do this to me. After all we been through?" said upset Cassie.
"Excuse me. A few minutes ago you were crying over Charles and not you're hating on obin's proposal to Lulu. I guess thats explains why you were grumpy this morning." said Dana.
"Dana it's not like that. Robin is too young to get married. He doesn't know what he's getting himself into. How could he be so stupid God." snapped Cassie.
"Okay...I'm with you on that girl. For a minute there I thought you don't want him to get married because you want him all to yourself." said Dana.
"Don't be silly Dana." said Cassie knowing that she's right.
"I got to focus on Charles." said Cassie to herself.
Batman642
Meanwhile, the twins were starting to get cranky and Marla was having a hard time controlling them.
"Cassie!" she called her. "Come here please?! NOW!!"
Cassie quickly ran over to her and took control of the toddlers.
"Sorry Mrs. A! I guess they're tired of being cooped up in this lobby," she apologized.
"Any other time I'd be able to deal with it, Cassie, but I'm at my breaking point--honestly, I'm SO WORRIED about my son--you have NO IDEA!!" Marla said desperately.
Cassie felt so sorry for Marla and it showed on her face. "Mrs. A, if you want you can go home with Dana and the kids and I'll stay over night with Charles. That way you can get a break from it all," she offered.
But Marla shook her head no. "Cassie, the last thing I want is to be away from Charles right now. I'm not leaving this hospital until he can leave with me--understand?"
Cassie backed off. "I TOTALLY understand, Mrs. A. I was just trying to help is all..." she quickly explained.
"Look, you saw Charles, right? So I think maybe you should take Colin and Kalie back to your grandparents' house now. They're getting out of control," Marla observed.
"Yes, you're right," Cassie agreed.
"Cassie, I'll take the twins back to your grandparents if you want to stay with Marla and Charles," Dana volunteered.
Cassie felt a wave of relief come over her, because she wanted to stay by Charles' side just as much as Marla did.
"Really Dana? Tbey're not too much for you?" she asked, concerned.
"Heck no!! These little rugrats don't know who they're messing with!" Dana said, shaking her fist at the twins playfully.
Cassie gave Dana a big hug. "Oh THANK YOU, Dana! Thank you SO MUCH! I REALLY want to be here for Charles!"
Dana hugged her back, feeling her pain. "I know, girl. I know you do...." she sympathized.
Next she hugged Marla. "Marla, girl.....you hang in there," she whispered in her ear.
After Cassie hugged and kissed the twins goodbye, Dana took them by the hand and gave them a little disciplinary tug.
"Come on you two! Let's go see Grandma and Grandpa. And Cassie, call us if there's ANY CHANGE in Charles' condition--you hear?" she asked as she walked away with the kids.
"I will!" Cassie promised. "Thanks again, Dana!"
"No problem, girl! That's what friends are for!" she shouted as they continued walking away.
Cassie took Marla's hand in hers. "Come on, Mrs. A, let's go back upstairs to be with Charles," she urged, leading her towards the elevators.

Meanwhile back at Lincoln Heights Eddie, Tay, Jeron, & Nate was getting to go over and finish cleaning the house before the Renovation people come tomorrow. Before they all left Eddie decided to talk to Jeron alone. So he went to the room and heard Jeron and Tay talking.
"So you finally asked Lizzie out?" asked Tay.
"Hell yeah it was a piece a cake. That old man of yours is going to be trouble but I think I handle him." said Jeron.
"You can handle my dad? That will be the day." laughed Jeron.
"Hey if I can get one over on mom I can get over on your Pops." said Jeron.
"Good luck. But treat my sister right." said Jeron.
"Don't I always?" asked Jeron.
"Oh excuse me, Tay may I speak to Jeron alone?" asked Eddie.
"Sure Dad." said Tay leaving the room.
"Whatsup Mr. Sutton?" asked Jeron.
Suddenly Eddie grabbed Jeron and threw to the wall.
"YOU MAN WHAT THE HELL?!??" snapped Jeron.
"Alright you little punk where the hell did you get those tickets?" angered Eddie.
"I told you I got it from your dad." lied Jeron.
"YOU KNOW YOU ONE LYING LIL SHIT!!! I JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH HIM RECENTLY AND HE TOLD ME HE NEVER GAVE YOU AM LAKER TICKETS!!!" angered Eddie.
"He's lying man! He lyin'" fibbed Jeron.
"LOOK MY DAD MAYBE ALOT OF THINGS BUT HE IS NO LIAR!!! NOW I WANT THE TRUTH SO TALK." snapped Eddie.
"Mr. Sutton I can't breathe." scared Jeron.
"I SAY TALK...TALK..TALK" screamed Eddie.
Then Jenn rushed and see what was going on and she saw Eddie grabbing Jeron by the throat and slammin him to the wall. And Jenn rushed and stopped him.
"EDDIE PUT HIM DOWN!!! snapped Jenn.
"NOT UNTIL HE TALK." yelled Eddie.
"I SAID PUT HIM DOWN NOW EDDIE. EDDIE SUTTON DID YOU HEAR ME?" yelled Jenn.
Eddie finally put Jeron down.
"Eddie have you gone crazy?" snapped Jenn.
"Jenn all I want to know where the boy got the tickets that's all." said Eddie.
"Hey that dude is crazy." freaked out Jeron.
"Jeron let me handle this." said Jenn.
"Jeron I'm going ask you one last time. Where did you get the tickets?" asked Eddie.
"None of your damn business." snapped Eddie.
"None of my business..I got your business right here." said Eddie as he getting to grabbed Jeron again.
"Eddie stop it! Now that's enough." said Jenn.
"Alright fine. He won't talk then I'll keep the tickets and give the ticke to someone else." said Eddie.
"Yo man that's not fair I've planning something for Lizzie for awhile." said Jeron.
"Oh don't worry Lizzie and I are still going. You're the one is staying home." said Jeron.
"Yo man this is bullshit." snapped Jeron.
"Jeron watch your mouth!" said Jenn.
"You ain't my mom and you both ain't my parents." said Jeron as he stormed out the house.
"Jeron get back here." warned Jenn.
"No Jenn let him go. He'll be back soon." said Eddie.
"Hey guys what's all the noise?" asked Nate.
"Oh nothing hey Nate after we clean the house how about you joining me and Lizzie to the Lakers game tonight?" offered Eddie.
"Sure thing Mr. Sutton. I love the Lakers. Thanks." said Nate.
"Not a problem." said Eddie.
Then Jenn looked at Eddie with a sterned.
"What?!?" confused Eddie.
"You offered Nate to the game but not Tay?" asked Jenn.
"Never thought Tay was into basketball."said Eddie.
"Eddie I don't believe you." said Jenn walking away.
Batman642
Tay saw Jeron storming away from his father and followed him.
"Jeron! Wait up, yo!" he called out.
Jeron ignored him and kept walking but Tay caught up to him as they went down the stairs and to the front door.
"What'd my dad say to you, yo?" he asked as they walked out of the house together and headed down the sidewalk.
"He chooked me, called me a liar and a thief and won't let me take shawty to the game is what he said to me!"
"You still think you can get over on him?" Tay asked.
"He'll get what's coming to him," Jeron replied.
They walked together in silence as Tay thought about Jeron's remark.
"So where we going anyway?" he asked.
Jeron stopped abruptly. "I don't know where YOU'RE going, but I got some BUSINESS to handle."
Tay scratched his chin. "Oh.......I get it..." he said, disappointed in Jeron.
"See y'around," Jeron said as walked away and left Tay alone on the sidewalk.
Meanwhile, back at the house, Jenn's cell phone rings, and she sees that it's one of her parents calling from San Diego.

"Hello?" Jenn answered.
"Hey Jenn." Beverly greeted.
"Hey mom what's going on?" asked Jenn.
"Everything around here is peaceful at last. Cassie and her friend Dana went to the park with twins and I think they are at the hospital as well to see Charles. You heard about Robin right?" asked Beverly.
"Mom yes I was over at Utah when it happened." said Jenn a little annoyed.
"I am so happy that he is alive." said Beverly.
"Me too." said Jenn.
"So what's going on back in the Heights?" wondered Beverly.
"Let just say I had better days. Besides all that the men are cleaning the house so the Renovation people can fix it up again. I just can't wait to move back into our house so things can finally get back to normal around here." said Jenn.
Batman642
"Is something on your mind, Jennifer? You sound.......different," Beverly remarked.
Jenn paused, wondering should she confide in her mother and then finally decided to give it a shot.
"Something is on my mind, Mom. How did you handle the fact that Dad had Naomi by another woman?" she asked bluntly.
Beverly was a bit caught off guard by the question. "Oh! Well, I'd say I handled it with dignity -- the same way you should handle it with Eddie," she advised.
Jenn let out a little gasp. "Handle WHAT with Eddie?"
Beverly chuckled a little. "Jennifer, how stupid do you think I am, dear? If you're asking me about your father's love child, it's got to be because there's a lovechild in your own backyard," she reasoned.
Jenn felt like she was caught between a rock and a hard place.
"I don't know what to say to that, Mom."
"Well whatever you say, don't LIE, Jennifer. Deal?"
"Mom, what do you mean you handled it with DIGNITY?" Jenn continued, ignoring Bev's last remark.
"I mean I never took out my insecurities on Naomi. It's not her fault how she was conceived, so I never treated her any differently from you or Vera. I love your father and she's a part of him so I loved her too--understand?"
"Did Dad ever try to play favorites? Did he put Naomi ahead of me and Vera?" Jenn asked curiously.
"Sometimes. And sometimes, vice versa. He's not perfect, he makes mistakes like anyone else. Don't expect your husband to be perfect either," she cautioned.
"Mom, will you please stop bringing Eddie into the mix?" Jenn asked annoyed.
"Remember, Jennifer, I wasn't born yesterday," Bev reminded her daughter. "Don't try to play me for a fool."
Jenn decided it was time to cut the conversation short. "Thanks for calling, Mom. Give Dad my love and tell Cassie to call me when she gets in please?"
"Jennifer, you can be so rude sometimes," Beverly replied.
"I love you too, Mom!" Jenn said sarcastically as she hung up the phone.
Just then, Dana came in the house with the twins.
"Hi Mrs. Bradshaw! Look who's home!" Dana greeted Bev as Colin and Kalie ran to her and hugged her legs.
"My beautiful great grandtwins!" Beverly replied, delighted. "But where's my granddaughter? Where's Cassie?"
Dana sighed as she sat, exhausted at the kitchen table. "It's a looonng story, Mrs. Bradshaw," she began to explain.
Candygwen
'I'm old Dana. We have all day so explain." said Dana.
So Dana everything that went on all day.
"That poor girl first if its ain't one thing it's another." said Beverly.
"If you asked me Cassie is better off without that Antoni boy." said Jeudge Bradshaw.
"BRADSHAW!!!" shocked Bevely.
"I don't mean anything like that. I meant that needs someone to make her happy." said Judge Bradshaw.
"Charles does that." sid Dana.
"Oh all that boy does is make that girl miserable. She needs someone that doesn't give her that much of headache like Robin now that's the man for Cassie." said Judge Bradshaw.
"Wait a minute you can't believe..." Dana tried to explain then Beverly interupted "Now look you need to stop this hating on that boy. You hardly even know him. So what he may not be perfect or been a positive influence on Cassie. But Cassie wants to be with him and despite of what happened she is hapy with Charles." said Beverly.
"She is making a foolish mistake. I don't want her to end up like her mother." said Judge Bradshaw.
"Not that again. Look this is Cassie's life and she has to learn. And if Charles is a mistake and it is Cassie's mistake and she is the one have to learn from it." said Beverly.
"I just don't want Cassie hurting anymore." said Judge Bradshaw.
"I don't either." said Beverly.
"How about I go and make everyone some coffee." said Dana.
"Good Idea." said Beverly.
Meanhile back at the San Diego Hospital
Batman642
Marla and Cassie are standing in the Intensive Care Unit next to Charles' bed, hand in hand, watching him as he sleeps, breathing heavily, sedated.
"Why is he breathing so hard?" Cassie whispered, worried.
"I dunno. We need your mom here right about now to explain all of this medical stuff," Marla whispered back.
Just then Cassie noticed a tall, dark and handsome doctor as he walked by, and she decided to stop him.
"Could you please give us some info?" she asked him.
He could see the stress and concern written on their faces and felt sorry for them.
"Sure thing," he agreed.
He picked up Charles' chart and read it. "Hmmm....." he remarked.
"Why is he breathing so hard?" Cassie asked.
"From what I see here, he's got blood poisoning from an infected stab wound. His body is fighting off the infection--which has spread throughout his entire system--that would explain the heavy breathing. Basically, his body is overwhelmed and exhausted," the doctor explained.
"Tsk, Tsk, Tsk," he continued. "It's a very unfortunate situation this young man is in. But since I'm not his doctor I suggest you get more information from his doctor."
"Everything happened so fast! One minute he was okay, and the next minute he was in so much pain they hustled him out of the room and into ICU. I haven't even gotten a chance to talk with his doctor!" Marla complained, upset.
"Okay, well, calm down, stay right here, and I'll see what I can do," he offered as he walked away to find Charles' doctor.
"Thanks!" Cassie said, grateful.
"I'm glad you stayed here with me, Cassie," Marla said as they continued standing at the bedside staring at Charles.
"I'm sorry all of this happened, Mrs. A--it's all my fault," Cassie apologized quietly.
"Don't be silly! How do you figure THIS is all YOUR fault?" she asked in disbelief.
Cassie shrugged sadly. "It's my fault Charles came out to San Diego, isn't it? If I hadn't left your house with the twins and come out here, none of this would've happened in the first place."
"After the way Charles treated you, Cassie, you needed to get away for awhile," Marla replied. "He was being unreasonable--even I know that!"
"So you don't blame me?" Cassie asked timidly.
Marla gave her a squeeze. "I blame myself for not putting my foot down and keeping him with me. I tried to talk him out of going, but I didn't try hard enough. He was starting to cause so many problems--with that girl Giselle and all--I was just glad to get Charles out of my hair for a little while," she admitted feeling guilty.
"Oh Mrs. A......." Cassie sympathized.
Then the handsome doctor returned with Charles' doctor behind him, and introduced him to Marla and Cassie.
"I'm sorry, Mrs. Antoni that I haven't had a chance to speak with you about your son," the doctor apologized.
"I need to know if he'll come out of this and be as good as new," Marla told him.
The doctor put his hand on Marla's shoulder to put her at ease.
"He's had quite a set back, Mrs. Antoni. But Charles is young and strong and before this happened I'm guessing he was pretty healthy, so I see no reason why he can't overcome this. Of course, I can't give you any GUARANTEES, but barring any unforeseen circumstances, Charles should recover in time."
"How much time?" Cassie asked.
"You've heard the expression 'time heals all wounds,' right? Everyone's different in that regard. What may take a week for one person could take a month for another. We'll have to wait and see," he told Cassie.
"Is he in a coma?" she asked.
"He's in a drug induced coma, meaning we put him in a coma intentionally by administering a very strong drug. We did that because he was in alot of pain, as you know Mrs. Antoni, and this way he can rest and his body can heal more comfortably. As soon as we stop the I.V. that's giving him the drug, he'll wake up," the doctor assured them.
"How can you tell whether he'll still be in pain or not?" Marla wanted to know.
"When the body is in pain, the blood pressure rises. Before the I.V. his pressure was extremely high because he could barely tolerate the pain he was in. Now that he's sedated, his pressure has gone down, although it's still slightly elevated. Also his heart rate will normalize as the pain lessens. But don't worry, he's quite comfortable now. He's just in a very deep sleep. Ladies, I'm afraid I'm going to have to leave and make my rounds. I hope I've answered all of your questions," he said politely as he shook Marla's hand.
"Thank you for your time, Doctor, and for taking such good care of Charles," she responded.
"There's really nothing you can do for him. Why don't you go home and get some rest? Any change, and we'll contact you immediately," he promised.
Marla and Cassie looked at each other, wondering if they should take his advice and leave.
Candygwen
"Marla, no disrespect, but I believe you should go home and get some rest. I'll stay here with Charles. I need some alone time with him...I promise that I will call if anything happens," said Cassie stepping up.
"Are you sure Cassie? You need your rest too," said Marla.
"I'm fine, and we can alternate turns if you want. I just know deep in my heart I need to be here right now," said Cassie as she held Marla's hand.
Marla smilied as she was touched by Cassie sincerity.
"Okay. Call if anything happens," said Marla as she walked out with the doctor.
Later on Charles started to stir as Cassie was laying next to him.

Cassie jumped up and immediately ran and got a nurse to come and check on Charles.
"Are you SURE he was moving?" the nurse asked as they walked down the hall back towards his room together.
"YES! YES!" Cassie replied excitedly.
"Because with that much sedative in his system, he shouldn't be moving..." the nurse told her.
"But he WAS!" Cassie insisted as they entered his room.
Charles was tossing and turning his head back and forth as if he were having a bad dream.
"See??? NOW DO YOU BELIEVE ME???" Cassie asked as she pointed at Charles.
"Mmmmmm......I sure hope he's not in any pain," the nurse said concerned.
"What?!" Cassie replied, alarmed. "You mean he could be in pain and not be able to let us know??"
The Nurse looked at Cassie, not wanting to reveal too much and upset her. "I doubt if that's the case," she tried to comfort her.
Charles continued moving his head from side to side as he dreamt of his beloved Cassie embraced in Robin's arms.

Charles was screaming NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo and was scaring Cassie. Soon all the doctors and nurses came to the room. Charles dreamt that Robin and Cassie tied the knot and as soon Robin place to ring on Cassie's, Charles woke up freaking out and screaming. Soon he jumped out of bed attacking everyone. His vision was all the doctors was Robin and Charles was attacking everyone. Soon one of the threw Charles back into bed and strapped him down and sedative him again. Charles finally calmed down and fell back to sleep.
Cassie was frightened.
"We better run some more test. To make sure he's alight." said the doctor.
"We gave him the right drug. He must've had a bad dream." said the nurse.
"Maybe you're right but we don't wanna take any chances." said the doctor.
Batman642
Cassie went unnoticed for awhile as she stood cowering in the corner like a terrified little girl, but finally one of the nurses gave her some attention.
"You poor thing," she said as she put her arms around Cassie's shoulders. "You're shaking!"
"What's wrong with Charles?!!" Cassie blurted out. "Why was he acting like, like a MANIAC??"
"There, there...." the nurse comforted her. "He'll be alright. Remember, his system is poisoned so it's possible for him to have nightmares and bad reactions until he gets clean again," she explained.
"The doctor never told us that!" Cassie protested.
"He probably didn't want to upset you. I'm sorry you had to see your friend act like that," she told her.
"He's not JUST my FRIEND--we're in love and have two beautiful kids together--TWINS!" Cassie said as she started to cry.
"You're so young! God bless you both..." she remarked as she let Cassie cry on her shoulder.
"It feels like God is punishing us both!" Cassie sobbed. "The past couple of days have been the worst I've ever had!"
One of the doctors overheard what was going on and turned and looked at the two females.
"Nurse, please get that young woman out of here--she's causing a disturbance!" he complained about Cassie.
The nurse shot him an angry look, but she obeyed and escorted Cassie out of the room and into the lounge where they could talk privately.

Meanwhile back at the Heights Nate, Tay,Spencer, & Eddie were at the house working.
"He where's lyin' Larry?" laughed Specner.
"If you're talkin' about Jeron I don't have a clue. He'll be back." said Eddie.
"Is everything alright between you two?" asked Nate.
"We're cool. I just want to set some things straight that's all. Why don't and Tay clean up the attic upstairs." said Eddie.
"Alright cool, Come on Tay." said Nate.
"Whatever your majesty." said Tay sarcasticly.
"If I was you I'll pull my belt and give Jeron a good whippin." said Spencer.
"Dad I'm not in the mood today." said Eddie.
"Well tha's what that boy needs is good spanking. That's the problem with young parents today. You too damn soft with these youngins." said Spencer as he stretch out on the couch.
"Well father of the year are you going to help us or your back is out again?" annoyed Eddie.
"I'll help..right after I take a 20 minute nap." said Spencer.
"What!?!? Dad you are so useless." annoyed Eddie.
Batman642
Upstairs in the attic, Nate decided to do a little investigating.
"So, Tay.....what's up with Jeron? Howcome he ain't helpin out?"
"He's your brother--you don't know?" Tay snapped back as he picked up fallen debris.
"Tay, yo, when you gonna drop this attitude? We all brothers--don't forget! Now, what you know about Jeron that I don't know?" he persisted.
Tay decided after the way Jeron dissed him earlier, he didn't owe him any loyalty.
"Jeron's pissed at my dad for taking his Laker's tickets. I don't know where those tickets came from, but they're dad's now, and Jeron ain't likin it one bit! He wanted to impress Lizzie on a nice date, but now Lizzie's goin and he's not."
"Oh.....so I guess that's the ticket I'm gettin...." Nate thought outloud.
"YOU???!!!" Tay replied outraged. "Dad is taking YOU to see the Lakers instead of ME???"
Nate grimaced. "Tay.......yo man.......I didn't know......Sorry, yo......" he apologized sincerely.
Tay stormed out of the attic and down the stairs to confront Eddie.
Candygwen
"Yo Dad I wanna talk to you." snapped Tay.
"Whoa I know you have lost your mind talking to me like that." shocked Eddie.
"What this I hear you letting Nate go the Laker game with you and Lizzie?" upset Tay.
"First of all watch your tone. And second this is none of your concerned." said Eddie.
"When my own dad is taking a grown man who claim to be your son instead of your son you know for fifteen years it becomes my concern." said Tay.
"Tay I have my reasons to take Nate." said Eddie.
"Has it ever occured to you that I may want to go to the Lakers game?" angered Tay.
"I didn't even know you like basketball Tay. And anyway I want to spend time with Nate and get to know him a little better. I hope you understand." said Eddie.
"I understand alright you choosing him over me. You know whatever I going back to work." said Tay storming back upstairs.
"Way to go Eddie. You're pissing off everyone today." said Spencer.
"Are you going to help or criticize me all day?" annoyed Eddie.
"Eddie that boy Tay is your one and only son and you need to be in that boy's life more than Nate." said Spencer.
"Nate is my son too." said Eddie.
"Nate is a grown man. He can look after himself. Tay is still a kid and needs guidance. Anyway have you taken that DNA test yet?" asked Spencer.
"Dad lets not go through that again." said Eddie rollin his eyes.
"Well I still don't think boy is really yours son." said Spencer.
"Dad I explain this before. I was Dana's first and I gave Nate blood and he survived therefore he is my son so get over it." said Eddie.
Meanwhile back at Marla's house Lizzie was picking out an outfit to wear.
Batman642
Jenn walked by the room, saw her daughter going through her closet and decided to join her.
"Hey, Lizzie! What are you looking for?" she asked in a friendly tone.
"Hi Mom. Jeron's taking me to a basketball game! A LAKER'S game--cool, huh?" Lizzie asked as she looked over an outfit.
"Oh......about that......" Jenn started.
"I already knom, Mom. DAD'S COMING," Lizzie interrupted.
"Okaaaay.......well.......there's been ANOTHER CHANGE that you obviously DON'T know about," Jenn continued.
She now had Lizzie's full attention.
"What OTHER change???" Lizzie asked, not liking the sound of her mother's voice.
Jenn sat on the bed and patted the empty spot next to her. "You might want to sit for this one," she advised.
Lizzie dropped the outfit on the floor as her body started to go limp. "Oh no........Moooommmmm...." she whined as she sat next to Jenn, dreading the news.
Jenn put her arm around Lizzie. "First, be careful how you conduct yourself with boys, Lizzie. Eddie told me he caught you and Jeron making out, which is why he invited himself to the game in the first place."
"But we like each other, Mom...." Lizzie confided.
"I know, sweetheart. But be a lady, not a tramp. Don't be so quick to give ANY boy what he wants. Make him work for what he wants. Got it?"
Lizzie nodded.
"Second, you may like Jeron and he may like you, but his attitude leaves alot to be desired. He can be very nasty and disrespectful--especially with your father."
"Did that happen?" Lizzie asked, unaware.
"Yes, I saw it with my own eyes. Of course, your father didn't help matters when he tried to choke him to death......"
"WHAT???!!!!"
"But I intervened and Jeron's still alive, and that's not the point anyway. The point is, Eddie wanted to know where the tickets came from and Jeron refused to tell him and got very ugly with your father."
"But the tickets came from Grandpa and Jeron already told Dad!" Lizzie objected.
"Your father spoke to Grandpa and Grandpa says no," Jenn informed her.
Lizzie sighed, disappointed and upset. "So NOW what? I can't go either???"
"You can go," Jenn assured her. "Jeron's the one that's not going."
"But they're HIS TICKETS. How can Dad take Jeron's tickets?"
Jenn shrugged. "He did. Case closed. You, Eddie and Nate are now going to the game--that is if YOU still want to go."
"Yeah, I still wanna go. But I also wanna talk to Jeron," she said as she got up from the bed.
"Good luck. He left the house quite awhile ago, and he wasn't very happy," Jenn replied as she left the room.
Lizzie immediately called Jeron's cell.
Candygwen
But Jeron didn't answered so Lizzie sent him a text message.
"I really hope he's not doing what I think he's doing." worried Lizzie.
Meanwhile Jeron was at Rev. Kingston house having a discussion.
"Sorry about the tickets, but this is a kind info I need keep Eddie off the police force." said Kingston.
"This ain't right man." said Jeron.
"He choked you didn't he?" asked Rev. Kingston.
"Well yeah." said Jeron.
"He was wrong and is the money to take Lizzie skating. It's to make up for the Lakers tickets." said Rev. Kingston.
"Why are you doing all this? What do you want from me?" asked Jeron.
"I told you before. I just want to help. Just keep giving me info on Eddie Sutton." said Rev. kingston
"I don't know about this. I don't want to hurt Lizzie." said Jeron.
"You're hurting anyone. You actually doing Lizzie a favor." lied Rev. Kingston.
"Oh okay. And you will get Momma Taylor her house back?" said Jeron being suspicious.
"Of coure. Just remember you owe me a favor Jeron." said Rev. Kingston with sinister smile.
"Alright bye." said Jeron as he left.
"Sutton this war between us is far from over." said Rev. Kingston.
Batman642
Back at the house, Lizzie's cell phone rang and she anxiously answered it.
"Jeron??"
"Noooooo......Lizard?"
"DEVIN???"
"Yeah. I wanted to let you know that I'm at the airport. I'm leaving Chi-town and coming back on the next flight to Lincoln Heights to live with my Dad! Cool, huh?" he asked.
"Uh, yeah, Devin......real cool....." Lizzie managed to reply, a little caught off guard.
"I can't wait to see you, Lizard! You?"
"Yeah......but um......could I call you back? I was JUST in the middle of something," she fibbed.
"Okay. But don't wait too long, Lizard. It's been long enough, you feel me?"
Lizzie hung up and let out a long sigh.

"What am I going to do." sighed Lizze.
Meanwhile Lulu decided to give Cassie a call.
"I really need to talk to Cassie. I hardly gotten a chance to talk to her. With so much going on." said Lulu.
Cassie phone rang.
"What does Lulu want now?" annoyed Cassie.
Cassie refuse to talk but she knew has needed to keep her mind off of things so she decided to answer and talk.
"I hope she's not going to expect me to be one of the bridesmaid at the wedding because I am so not going to be there." said Cassie as she begin answer.
Batman642
"Hey girl."
"Cassie! God! You are SO HARD TO REACH LATELY!" Lulu kidded her friend.
"Lulu......if you ONLY KNEW!" Cassie replied.
"Knew what? What's going on? Is Charles okay?" she asked, concerned.
"No, he's not okay! In fact, he's almost as bad off as Robin was the other day."
"HUH??? But HOW? I thought he was gonna come out soon and you guys were heading to Utah?"
"Yeah, well, scratch THAT for now! Charles' stab wound got infected and it went unnoticed until it was too late and now he's got BLOOD POISONING, so they put him in a drug-induced coma so that he won't suffer from the pain!"
"Oh my God.....Cassie......I'm SO SORRY! I had NO IDEA!" Lulu sympathized.
"To be honest, I'm SO NOT in the mood to talk right now, but I've gotta do something to keep my mind off of Charles!"
"Are you at the hospital now?"
"Yeah I am. And to top it off, he had some kind of bad reaction to his medicine or something and started attacking the doctors and nurses," she continued.
"For REAL, Cassie????" Lulu remarked in disbelief.
"Lulu I was SO SCARED! I was in the room when it happened. Charles just WENT OFF!!"
"And now?"
"Now he's knocked out again. I'm in the lounge. This nice nurse took me out of the room and bought me a coffee and was talking with me. She had to go back to the nurses' station, but I haven't gone back to Charles' room yet," Cassie explained.
"Well, girl, you better get going! Charles needs you to be right by his side, Cassie!" Lulu urged.
"I know! And I wanna be--I really do. I'm just so scared, Lulu. What if he DIES? He's the father of my kids!!"
"Cassie....calm down, girl. He's NOT GONNA DIE. I KNOW IT. Robin was in a plane crash and he's alive! Charles is gonna pull through--you'll see. And after all of this is over, we can start planning our double wedding!" she teased, trying to make Cassie feel better.
"Ha, ha! Very Funny!" Cassie replied, not amused.
"I'm just trying to help...." Lulu explained.
"I know, girl. How's Robin anyway?"
"He's okay, but he's TRIPPIN. He don't want me to take a plane back to Sea School! Is he for real or what?"" she complained.
"Are you going back soon?" Cassie asked, curious.
"Yeah, real soon. AND I'M FLYING!"
"Well......BE CAREFUL," she advised.
"I will. And you get back to Charles' room and take care of him, Cassie. Right Now. I mean it!" she ordered.
"Okay, I will. Pray for him, k?"
"You got it!" Lulu promised. "Love ya, girl!"
"I love you too. Kiss Robin for me."
Cassie's last remark stung Lulu a bit, but she tried not to let it get to her as she got off of the phone.

As Cassie walked back into Charles's room, she found him awaken once again.
"Charles? Charles! You're awake! I have to go get the nurse," said Cassie as she started to leave.
"Cassie no," said Charles as loud as he could.
Cassie walked over to his side and held his hand.
"Charles I'm so sorry about all this. I'm really scared...I don't want to lose you," said Cassie as a tear ran down her cheek.
Robertadamsonlover
Charles slowly managed to lift his hand up to her cheek and wipe away her tear.
"You won't lose me, Cassie," he assured her in a very weak voice. "Now you know how I feel," he added, struggling to talk.
"Charles, save your strength...Don't talk," she begged him.
He nodded and closed his eyes.
Candygwen
Soon the nurse came in to check on Charles.
"Charles woke up again." said Cassie.
"He woke up at least it's a good sign but he is still weak. I think you better go and let him get some rest. He'll be fine I promise you. Anyway we still have to finish your conversation with you and Charles." said the nurse.
"I thought we did."puzzled Cassie.
"I was too bsy comforting you. You were so freaked out I couldn't get a word out of you." said the nurse.
"Sorry." said Cassie.
"No need to apoloize." the nurse.
Then doctor came in.
"HEY I THOUGHT I'VE TOLD YOU TO GET THAT GIRL OUT OF HERE." yelled the doctor.
"For heaven sakes that's her boyfriend in there." said Charles.
"This boy is in serious condition we can't take any chances of upsetting him." said the doctor.
"The girl hasn't caused any harm." said the nurse.
"Look either get her out of or I'm going call for security to escort her out." said the doctor.
"We will be in the lounge so chill." said the nurse as she took Cassie back to the lounge and talk.
Meanwhile as Charles fell asleep he dreamed the he went to see a dreamed house that him and Cassie was going to live in. When he got there saw Cassie painting. And a the twins a few years older.
"This is my life that suppose to be like." said Charles went inside.
"Hey beautiful I'm home." said Charles.
But Cassie walked through Charles.
"What's going on?" confused Charle.
Then suddenly Robin walked in the door.
"Honey I'm home." said Robin coming in.
"Hey." said Cassie as she greeted him with a kiss.
"No this can't be happening." freaked out Charles.
"How was work today?" asked Cassie.
"Long but getting a kiss from you and seeing your pretty face always makes my day." said Robin as held Cassie.
"Get your hands off my girlfriend." said Charles as he begin to get angry.
"I love the way you hold me Robin." said Cassie.
"Hey it's not everydayI get to hold my wife." said Robin.
"WIFE!!!" said Charles as his face begins to turned red.
"Look Daddy's home." said Kalie.
"Daddy" excited Kalie & Colin.
"Hey how's my two favorite twins doin?" asked Robin.
"Daddy I got an A on my spelling test." said Colin.
"Dad I drew this for you." said Kalie.
"No stop calling him that. I'm your father." cried Charles.
"Wow it's beautiful Kalie." said Robin.
"When I grow u I want to be just like my mommy." said Kalie as hugged Cassie.
"Awww you are sweet." said Cassie.
"Hey I have to admit you did a excellent job on raising the twins." said RObin.
"No we did an excellent job on raising the twins. Thanks to you for showing me to be wonderful parent. I'm also happy that you adopted the twins." said Cassie.
"Yeah I don't like to be callled step dad since step families has such bad reputaions. So why not adopt." said Robin.
"YOU TOOK MY KIDS AWAY FROM ME!!! YOU FUCKING BASTARD!!!" angered Charles.
"Now we are just one happy family the four of us." said Robin.
"You mean the five of us." said Cassie.
"Huh?" cofused RObin.
"Well I visit the doctor today and it's official I'm expecting our child together. I'm two weeks pregnant." said Cassie.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" screamed Charles.
Suddenly Charles woke up screaming and holloring again.
Batman642
Fortunately the doctor was still in the room and was able to administer more sedatives to calm Charles down.
"This young man is really suffering," the doctor remarked to one of his colleagues.
"I see that. I hope he pulls through."
The doctor sighed and watched Charles until the sedative started to calm him down again, and then he left the' room and went to the lounge where Cassie and the nurse were talking. He caught the nurses attention and beckoned to her.
"Cassie, excuse me for a sec. The doctor wants to speak with me. I'll be right back," the nurse told her as she got up from the table.
"Sure, no problem," Cassie agreed.
The nurse approached. "Yes Doctor?"
"I just thought you should know Charles Antoni had another outburst so I sedated him some more."
"That poor kid....." the Nurse said sadly, shaking her head.
"Yes, it's a shame alright. If he makes it through the night it will be a miracle," the Doctor remarked.
"WHAT?!" the nurse gasped. "What are you saying???"
"He shouldn't be having all of these bad reactions. The whole purpose of sedating him is so that his body can rest and have enough strength to fight off the infection. Everytime he has one of these outbursts or seizures or whatever you want to call them, it puts an awful strain on the boy's heart," the docotr explained.
"I can't tell Cassie that!" the nurse replied, feeling desperate.
"I'm not advising you to tell her anything. But I wanted you to know the situation since you're the professional."
The nurse nodded. "Yes, of course. Thank you doctor."
The two parted company and the nurse returned to the table where Cassie was sitting and looking at pictures on her I-Phone.
Candygwen
"Hey is everything alright with Charles?" worried Cassie.
"Of course everything is fine. We just want to make sure he's comfortable so he can rest. He's too weak to move around. He needs as much rest as he can so he can get his strength back." said nurse not wanting to tell Cassie the whole story.
"Oh okay." said Cassie.
"Tell me what's going on with you and Charles?" asked the nurse.
"What do you mean?" asked Cassie.
"Well since you going to be here for awhile I may as well get a chance to know you and your beau a little better." said the nurse.
Batman642
Cassie giggled, thinking about better times in the past.
"Now THAT'S what I want to see more of--you acting like the young girl you really are, instead of a tired, old soul.....And by the way, my name is Kate," the nurse told her as she sat back down with Cassie.
"Kate, I still remember the first time I saw Charles. It was in Art Class and he was a new transfer. It's like we immediately connected--even though we didn't realize it at the time. He appreciated my work, and I liked being around him. Once we got caught up in a hostage situation at a convenience store and he could have been killed, but he escaped and then he went to bat for my dad--he's a cop--so that dad wouldn't get charged with killing Donnell--he's the criminal--without cause."
Kate put her hand up for Cassie to stop. "My head is spinning already, Cassie! HOSTAGE SITUATION? ALMOST KILLED? You guys are way too young for so much drama!"
"That's just the beginning," Cassie warned her.
Candygwen
"One time I met this guy at school he was such a hunk and Charles started to get jealous. I wanted to go to this party but my dad wouldn't let me but I went anyway when I was there I saw Charles and he was totally wasted. Then I saw that guy it turned out he was working undercover and told me to get Charles and leave becuase there was going to be a drug bust and it was. Lucky Charles and I got out of there. When we got home Charles opened to me and told me how he felt even though he was drunk. We got even closer when were at the musuem. " said Cassie.
"I hope there were no drama over at the museum." wondered Kate.
"No but I have to take my annoying little sister with me. And it was no picnic." said Cassie.
"So when did you and Charles officially hooked up?" asked Kate.
"Well I wanted to go to this party with Charles but my dad wouldn't let me. He's not too fond of him. So Charles decided to comfront him I guess things got a little heated when Charles accused my dad of being a racist. My dad is too overprotective. But somehow my mom talked it over and decided to invite Charles over to get to know him." said Cassie
"How does your father feel about Charles now?" asked Kate.
Batman642
"My Dad's FINALLY starting to come around--two kids and two years later!" Cassie joked.
"Wow......."
"Yeah, it's been rough, but that's what fathers do, right? Try to keep their little girls from growing up, rght?"
"Growing up doesn't mean you have to have two kids before you're 18, Cassie," Kate responded.
"I know, I know. I didn't run out and get pregnant to prove a point, if that's what you mean, but what's done is done. We messed up, got beautiful twins in the process and now we've gotta deal with it. And my father needs to get with the program instead of making our lives miserable every chance he gets."
"Like how for instance?" Kate asked, curious.
"Make life miserable, you mean? Well, first off, he moved us from a nice neighborhood to Lincoln Heights. And then, let's see......how about the time Dad beat Charles to a pulp, broke his ribs and put him in the hospital? Or how about the time Dad had the mafia after him and they shot me instead and I almost lost the twins before they were ever born? Or how about the time escaped convicts came to our house looking for Dad and kidnapped my twins when they were infants? Should I keep going?" Cassie asked sarcastically.
"I get the point," Kate replied, overwhelmed. "But in all fairness, some of that seems to have been beyond your father's control. But what about beating Charles to a pulp--why?"
"Sex. Why else?" Cassie replied, rolling her eyes.
Kate looked perturbed.
Candygwen
"No offense Cassie but even though you dad was out of line on that one. Having sex is what got you those twins in the first place." said Kate.
"I know I know but Charles and I love each other." said Cassie.
"Not to say that Charles didn't love you but if he really love you he should respect your body and at least wait until you two are married." said Kate.
"Well I don't both of us are really ready to get married. I mean we got engaged a few times but we finally realize we both not matured enough to get married. We could barely raised both our kids." said Cassie.
"I take it your relationship isn't perfect." said Kate.
"No we have our ups and downs. Mostly down. And as of late our relationship has going downhill. It''s not the same as before. I know at times caused problem in the relationship but Charles is becoming another person I don't like." said Cassie.
"Don't feel bad when Charles gets out of this. Maybe you two should seek couseling and this bring you two closer together." said Kate.
"I hope so." said Cassie.
You two seem to be perfect together. Chassie." joked Kate.
"God don't say that. It is so annoying." said Cassie.
"I think it's cute." said Kate.
"Whatever." said Cassie rollin her eyes.
"So when did your perfect relationship started to go wrong?" asked Kate.
"I don't I think this thing started when I went away to art camp." said Cassie
"Art camp?" asked Kate.
Batman642
"Yep. It was cool. I went away for the Summer and helped out with some kids at camp and at the same time I got to do what I love best -- paint. Charles and I kept in touch, but I got friendly with another guy--strictly platonic--and Charles felt threatened. I should've known then that he had a jealousy problem, but I guess love is blind. And speaking of blind, what REALLY started tearing us apart was when I met Robin."
"Robin? He's blind?"
"WAS BLIND. I met him while I was in the hospital, pregnant and shot up. He was there waiting to have eye surgery. Just like Charles and I connected......well......so did me and Robin. Even though at first I didn't like him."
"So what's the deal with the three of you now?" Kate asked.
Candygwen
"Robin and I are very close friends and Charles doesn't like me having male friends." said Cassie.
"That's pretty selfish of him." said Kate.
"I know. It's creeps me out everytime Charles gets jealous especially with Robin. He acts very violent." said Cassie.
"Has this happens before?" asked Kate.
"Yes!" said Cassie.
"When did the first time this time happened?" asked Kate.
"Well this is before I met Robin. I started working at the coffee shop called the Revolution back in Lincoln Heights because they cut off the art program at my school. There's this manage well former manager name Luc offer me free art lessons if I worked there. Luc was started to get close until one night Charles spotted us laughing and dancing having a good time and bust in and started acting crazy." said Cassie.
"Oh my God this boy have problems." said Kate.
"Yeah he drive me crazy at times." said Cassie.
"Okay now lets get back with the situation between you and Robin. How did you two became good friends?" asked Kate.
"As first when I met him I didn't like him at first and there was a little misunderstanding. Then when we started talking we connected. Robin very intelligent and plus he loves to write poetry. He has a heart of an angel. Not to mention he very attractive. We started to connect. We were secretly attracted to each other but maintain our friendship. He always understood me and listen to me. We laughed joked and talk about our problems. The funny thing is when I'm with Robin I'm truly happy with him." said Cassie.
"Wow this Robin guy seems like a caring person. You should've hooked up with him when you had the chance." said Kate.
"I would but remember I was still pregnant at the time and Charle was still sane at the time. Plus we were engaged." said Cassie.
"You two got engaged?" asked Kate.
"We was engaged. Anyway there was time that I wish I did but instead I introduce Robin to my bestfriend Lulu which turned out to be one of my biggest regret ever." said Cassie.
"Regret? What do you mean>" confused Kate.
"Nevermind!!! Anyway as I gave birth to Colin and Kalie, Robin waited for me to have the babies and got his eye surgery." said Cassie.
"Awww that was sweet of him." said Kate.
"Yeah after that we've been close ever since. However Charles hated the friendship Robin and I had and it drove him nuts." said Cassie.
"How did your family feels about Robi?" asked Kate.
"Everyone including my dad loves Robin. Lizzie has a bit of a crush on him and my grandparents likes him as well. Which also drove Charles nuts. My Aunt Vera tried to hook me and Robin up on a date one time but we both realize what she was doing
