"Hey, we've all been through quite a shock with the quake and all, Lizzie," Nate said, trying to make her feel better, "so just calm down.  Sit down and relax and let's chat," he suggested.

Lizzie was relieved that Nate smoothed things over without a fuss.  "Thanks," she said quietly as she sat in the chair next to his bed.  "I'll be glad when you get out of here," she told him.

He made a face.  "Yeah, well, where am I going when I get out?  Your house is destroyed and that was my final option...." he replied sadly.  "Have you heard anything from my mother?"

Lizzie shook her head no.  "I haven't talked to Miss Dana since the day of the quake.  You haven't seen her?"

"She was here the other day, but I don't know where she's staying--probably at a shelter."

"That sucks.  I wish I could get in contact with her...."

"Why?  There's nothing you can do to help her," Nate replied.

"Dana and Mrs. Antoni hit it off this summer at the beach house.  They hung out at the mall and I think they were even seeing the same guy at one point--I'm not sure--but I know they liked each other."

"If I can contact her I can get her to stay or Mrs. Antoni's house until she can get back on her feet again." said Lizzie.

"Don't waste you time Lizzie.  My mom is way too proud for that." said Nate.

"I have to try after she was there for us when we at the beachhouse this summer.  I have to give it a shot.  I even get Tay to help." said Lizzie.

"Yeah, well, lots o' luck..." Nate replied sarcastically.

"Could you at least give me her cell number?" Lizzie asked as she stood up.

Nate sighed, reached over and got a pen and paper from the dresser drawer next to his bed and wrote the number down for Lizzie.  "Here you go," he said handing it to her.  "It might not be in service anymore," he warned.

She smiled, took it and put it in her jeans pocket.  "Thanks, Nate.  I've just gotta try.  I can't believe Mrs. Antoni would want Miss Dana living in a shelter when she's got so much room in her new house and I can't believe Dana wouldn't want to stay with us for awhile!  It'll be like old times at the beach house!" she explained.

"You keep talking about this beach house...." he replied, confused.

"Charles' mom hit the lottery and bought a beach house for him and Cassie cuz she thought they were gonna get married.  Well.....they HAVEN'T gotten married YET, but the house is still theirs and we all stayed there for the summer and your mom was our chaperone--she was terrific--she was my roomie.  She was like a mother to us, Nate...."

"I see......" he reflected deep in thought.  "Sounds like she was more of a mother to you guys than she EVER was to me, so maybe she will take you up on your offer."

Lizzie squealed, excited, as she jumped up and down.  "Oooooo I hope so!!"  She hurried to Nate's bedside and kissed him on the forehead.  "I gotta go now and visit my grandfather," she explained quickly.

"Cool.  Thanks for coming, lil sis," he said as she left the room

Meanwhile Charles drove by Monica's house.  He arrived and ranged the doorbell.

"Charles?!?" said Monica openig the door.

"Hey!!  Is Robin here?" answered Charles.

"No he and Lulu decided to drive around the neighborhood a bit.  What do you want?" asked Monica.

"I figured since this is Thanksgiving weekend I invite you to join Robin for Thanksgiving." said Charles.

"Oh sweet...wait a minute did Robin put you up to this?" asked Monica.

"Of course not this holiday is about spending time with family." said Charles.

"Why?" asked Monica suspiciously.

"I figured that after the quake Thanksgiving is the best thing for everyone, plus I'm invited Lulu's parents, and Tawanna's parents as well." said Charles.

"Alright I'll take your word for it." said Monica.

"Cool," Charles replied, grinning, as he turned to leave.

"Just one thing, Charles," Monica continued.

"What's that?" he asked.

"You may think it's 'cool' but what about your mom?  She was dating my ex-husband for awhile wasn't she?"

Charles put his hand on Monica's shoulder.  "Sooooooo....you and her have something in common--look at it that way!  My mom's got no beef with you--just Mike--believe me," he said putting her mind at ease.

Monica looked relieved.  "Okay then -- cool!  Thanks for the invitation Charles--it was very thoughtful of you."

"Ahhhh......don't mention it!" Charles replied as he walked away.

"YES!!!! My plan is working with everyone being out the house for Thanksgiving I don't have to worry about Robin getting close to Cassie." said Charles to himself as drove off.

Meanwhile back at the hospitial Lizzie was chatting with Spencer.

"Wow well look at you. You are growing into such a beautiful lady Lizzie." said Spencer.

"Thanks Grandpa.  How are you feelin'?" asked Lizzie.

"I want to get the hell up outta here.  That's how I'm feelin'." said Spencer.

"But Grandpa the doctor said you need more rest." said Tay.

"Oh the hell them.  Now Lizzie what this I hear you chatting with that boy Nate?  He's more importrant than your old grandfather?" asked Spencer.

"Nate is pretty cool.  And he maybe our big brother." said Lizzie,

"Well don't get too comfortable with him Lizzie.  There's alot we don't know about that boy." said Spencer.

"You do you mean?" confused Lizzie.

"Grandpa thinks Nate isn't really our brother and I think he's right." said Tay.

"Quit hating Tay.  You just jealous." said Lizzie.

"I'm not Lizzie.  There's alot we don't know about Nate." said Tay.

"Dad just gave him blood that's proves he's Nate son." said Lizzie.

"No it don't." said Tay.

"Yes it does, use your brain for once." said Lizzie.

"Why don't you wake up and face reality?" snapped Tay.

"Hey you two that's enough you both giving me a headache with all that bickering." said Spencer.

"Sorry Grandpa." said Tay & Lizzie.

"What do you think?" asked Lizzie.

"I think they should take a DNA test." said Spencer.

"Who should take a DNA test?" Eddie asked as he and Jenn entered the hospital room, startling Spencer in the process.

"Hey!" Spencer said, loudly, faking a smile, obviously ashamed.  "What are you two doing here?!"

"Well, we finished at the modeling agency, had lunch, and figured we'd swing by and see you," Jenn answered.  "Lucky for you guys," she said to Lizzie and Tay with a smile, "now you can get a ride home instead of taking the bus."

"Uh....." Eddie interrupted, "like I said, WHO should take a DNA test??" he repeated looking at Spencer.

"Thanks mom!!!  How did Natalie do on her photoshoot?" asked Lizzie changing the subject.

"Natalie did really well!!! Bill says she's a pro." said Jenn.

"That's my Natalie." said Lizzie.

"So what's going on at Thanksgiving?  I heard you all going to have alot of people coming." said Spencer.

"You can say that." said Eddie.

"What you can't invite your old man for Thanksgiving dinner?" asked Spencer.

"Spencer we are a guest at Mrs. Antoni's." said Jenn.

"And she haven't forgotten that you sick that pitbull on her awhile ago." said Eddie.

"It was a joke son." laughed Spencer.

"No it was dumb and it was dangerous.  She could've gotten really hurt." said Eddie.

"That was a long time ago." said Spencer.

"How's Hercules, by the way?" Lizzie asked her grandfather, still hoping to keep Eddie distracted.

"He survived the quake, thank God.  I love that dog....." Spencer replied deep in thought.   "I just hope Vera's taking good care of him."

"I'm sure she is, grandpa," Tay assured him.

At that point, Natalie started to yawn and Lizzie saw a way out.  "Oh look, mom!  Natalie's getting tired!  Shouldn't we be going home now?" she asked anxiously.

Jenn looked at Lizzie strangely.  "We'll leave, Lizzie, don't worry.  But we just GOT here and maybe your father would like to spend some time visiting HIS father," she explained.

Lizzie backed down, not wanting to arouse suspicion.  "Oh--yeah--sorry, Dad.  It's just that Natalie's had a long day is all......"

Eddie yawned too.  "She's not the only one that's had a long day.  I'm kinda beat myself," he admitted.  "You don't mind if we make this a short visit, do you Pop?"

Spencer tried to hide his relief.  "Well, son, if you're tired, you're tired.  There's always tomorrow.....Go home and get some rest," he recommended.

As the Suttons all filed out of Spencer's room, Sage and Danny were walking down the same hospital corridor on their way to visit Kevin Lund.

"Thanks for coming with me Danny. I'm glad I'm not alone after all that's happen", said Sage.

"Now problem. I think I need to get on better terms with you dad anyway", said Danny.

"Dad", said Sage creeping in the door.

"Sage. Is..is that you?", said Lund faintly.

"Daddy! I'm so glad you okay", said Sage runing to her dad's bedside.

"There's nothing in the world that will keep me away from you pumpkin." said Lund.

"I'm just glad that you are still alive." said Sage

"Who's your friend?" asked Lund.

"That's my boss at the Rev" said Sage.

"I see." said Lund.

Meanwhile in the hallway by the elevators, Eddie's conscience starts to bother him.

"You know, Jenn, while we're here I should really stop in and see how Kevin is doing."

"That would be nice," she agreed.

"You mean we're not leaving after all?" Tay asked, disappointed that his visit with Spencer had been cut short.

"What kind of partner would I be if I didn't stop in and check on Lund?" Eddie asked his son.

"Partner??? But you're not even working anymore!" Tay protested.

"Mind your manners, Tay!" Lizzie scolded her brother.  "He's just suspended!"

"Look you two," Eddie instructed, "either wait for us in the lobby with Natalie, or the three of you go back to your grandfather's room--it's your choice.  Your mother and I are gonna make a quick check on Lund--you hear?"

So Tay, Lizzie and Natalie went back to Spencer's room while Jenn and Eddie headed for Kevin's room.

"Well, Well, Well, looks who's back." said happy Spencer.

"Mom and Dad went to check on Mr. Lund." said Lizzie.

"Yeah I heard what happened to him.  He pretty roughed up there.  Anyway Lizzie thanks for changing the DNA subject." said Spencer.

"No problem Grandpa." said Lizzie.

"Why don't you want Dad to know about the DNA testing?" confused Tay.

"You know your dad.  He doesn't want to face to truth." said Spencer.

"But what if Nate really is our brother?" asked Lizzie.

"We don't know that Lizzie." said Tay.

Eddie and Jenn heard voices coming from Lund's room as they slowly approached.

"Hmmm.....sounds like he's got visitors already," Jenn remarked as she squeezed Eddie's hand.

"Mmmm hmmm...." Eddie replied. leading the way into the room.  "Heeeeyyyyy......." he greeted Lund with a smile, who was awake although weak.

Sage's face lit up.  "Mama Jenn!  Mr. Sutton!  Thanks for coming!"

The couple came closer to Lund's bed and Jenn bent over and kissed Kevin on the forehead.  "I hope they're treating you right in here," she whispered.  "You just let me know if they're not."

Lund gave her a weak grin and nodded okay.

Jenn looked up at Sage.  "He seems so tired," she said, concerned.

"Well Danny and I have been here for awhile talking with him so maybe that's why," Sage explained.  "You remember Danny?" she asked, pointing to him.

"How could I forget DANNY?" she asked Sage, annoyed.  "So this is how you look with clothes on?" Jenn said to him sarcastically.

Danny bowed his head.

Eddie extended his hand to Danny.  "Don't mind her son," he said.  "You're not the first dude to have sex in my house behind my back.  At least it wasn't with MY daughter this time!"

The two men shook hands.

"Eddie!" Jenn scolded, hitting him on the arm.

"It's true, Jenn!  Don't you remember I caught a certain couple in the shower?" he reminded her.

Sage giggled and nudged Danny, thrilled to be off the hot seat for a while.

"Eddie, we're here to visit Kevin, not bring up past mistakes!" Jenn continued scolding her husband.

"Well you started it, Jenn!  Talkin bout 'is this how you look with clothes on!'" Eddie replied defensively.

Jenn sighed and apologized to Danny.

"It's okay, Mrs. Sutton.  I deserved it," he replied.

Meanwhile Robin and Lulu return back Monica's house and Monica told them the news.

"Charles actually invited me to come have Thanksgiving with you guys.  Isn't that amazing?" said excited Monica.

"Yeah but the question is why?" asked Robin being suspicious.

"I don't know maybe he felt bad about me spending holidays alone.  He was so concern about everyone who suffer the quake he invited Tawanna and her parents and he also invited your parents as well Lulu." said Monica.

"WHAT!!! He didn't" shocked Lulu.

"Yeah he did. I can finally meet your parents Lulu.  Isn't that wonderful?" asked Monica.

Lulu quickly ran to the bedroom and slammed the door.

"What just happened?" confused Monica.

"I don't know but I'll go and talk to her." said Robin.

When he went into the bedroom, he found Lulu curled up in the fetal position on the bed, sucking her thumb.  Robin smiled a little at her vulnerability but made sure she didn't see him smile.  He sat on the edge of the bed by her feet and started to take her shoes off.  When he got them off, he caressed her tiny feet and played with her toes, one by one until she couldn't take it anymore and started to laugh.  He started laughing too and then started to kiss one of her feet until she yanked it away and almost kicked him in the face.

"Oh I'm sorry, Boo!" she apologized, reaching out to touch his face.

"I'm cool, Lulu," he assured her.  "You missed by about an eighth of an inch."

He moved closer to her on the bed sitting right next to her instead of at her feet.  "Now what was that all about in there?" he asked in a serious tone.  "What's the deal--you not wanting to be with your parents on Thanksgiving?"

"It's a long story Robin." said Lulu.

"I have all day." said Robin.

"You know my folks was against me singing at the Rev.  They were also against me going to Semester at sea with you as well." said Lulu.

"Huh?  Sea School is one of the best education out there.  Why would they be against that?" asked Robin.

"They think I'm wasting my time over there with you.  They are too old school. So they forbid me to go to this Sea School.  I of course went behind their back and signed up anyway.  My parents trying to do what's best for me which actually they are doing it for themselves." said Lulu.

"Have you tried talking to them?" asked Robin.

Lulu sighed, and Robin could tell she was getting annoyed.  "Of course I've tried talking to them, Robin!  What do you think?" she snapped.

Before Robin could answer, Lulu continued, "Do you think I LIKE having beef with my parents?"

"Calm down okay?  I know you don't like it," he replied, feeling sorry for her.  "I just wish......"

"What Robin?  What do you wish?"

Robin shook his head.  "Nevermind," he replied.

The two of them sat on the bed quietly for awhile, not saying anything to each other.  Finally, Robin decided it was time to re-join Monica in the other room so he got up and headed for the bedroom door.  "You coming?" he asked Lulu, not bothering to look back.

Lulu hesitated and then answered, "Lemme put my shoes back on."

When he heard that, Robin stopped just before he got to the door.  "Need any help?" he asked as he turned and grinned at her with a mischievous gleam in his eye.

"You foot freak!" she teased him, wiggling her toes in the air.

"That's me!" he said as he made a mad dash back to the bed, picked up her shoes and grabbed her feet.

"Robin!!!!!!!!!!!!" she squealed loudly, startled.

Suddenly Monica knocked on the door.  "Is everything alright in there?" she asked sounding worried.

"Yeah" said Robin & lulu.

"We'll be down in a minute." said Robin.

"Okay but don't take too long." said Monica.

Meanwhile back at the Antoni's household got back from Monica's place.  He wanted to continue to count the money he took from the Sutton household.  Then Cassie showed up.

"Hey Charles where have you been?" asked Cassie kissing Charles.

"Just out and about." said Charles.

"Where?" wondered Cassie.

"I figured since you invited Robin and Lulu for Thanksgiving, I invited their folks." said Charles.

"You didn't invited Robin's dad did you?" asked Cassie concerned.

"Of course not just his mother." said Charles.

Cassie put her arms around Charles' waist.  "You can be SO SWEET, Charles," she said happily, giving him a hug.

Charles looked a little nervous and uncomfortable and Cassie noticed.

"Charles....." she continued, a bit amused, "what's wrong with you?"

"Uh.......nothing." he replied.  "Do I hear Kalie?" he asked, trying to get rid of Cassie so that he could get to the money bag.

"Kalie?  You hear her?" Cassie asked surprised.   She leaned a little toward the door, straining to hear.  'I don't."

"Go see, Cas.  Maybe she's having a nightmare," he suggested.

"The twins aren't sleeping, Charles!" Cassie laughed.

"Well then maybe she got hurt!  I'm telling you, I hear her!" Charles insisted angrily.

Cassie backed away, her feelings hurt.  "Alright.  I'll go check," she said as she started to go.

Charles realized that he'd gone too far and grabbed her hand before she could leave.  "Beautiful--I'm sorry," he apologized.  "I didn't mean to yell like that.  I'm just--"

Cassie jerked her hand away from his.  "STUPID???" she asked, still hurt.

"Cassie, I said I was sorry.  Come on......." he pleaded, trying to make up with her.  "Anyway, I thought I was so sweet a minute ago?"  he asked as he attempted to take her hand once more.

"And I thought Kalie was crying a minute ago," Cassie replied sarcastically as she left the room, closing the door behind her.

Charles wasn't happy about hurting Cassie's feelings but he put it in the back of his mind as he locked the door and got the money bag out of the back of the closet.  He dumped the money out onto the bed.  Some of it he had already counted and rubberbanded together and some of the bills were still loose, yet to be counted.

"This is all mine truly mind.  With this money I can take Cassie and the twins and we will finally leave the Heights.  We can move to Utah or even better we leave the country and move to Italy.  The Heights brought nothing but misery.  The only thing good about it is I met Cassie.  And I got to keep Cassie away from Robin.  I still don't know why she hung up on him?" Charles said to himself.

Then he heard a knocked on the door and it was his mother.  Charles quickly put away the money and hid it in a safe place.

"Charles is everything okay?" asked Marla.

"Everything is fine mom." said Charles.

"Then why did you have the door locked?" asked Marla.

"I just needed to be alone for awhile." said Charles.

"Mind if I come in?" Marla asked, glancing around suspicious of her son's need to be alone.

"Come in," Charles invited her nonchalantly.

She went in and sat on the bed and patted the empty space beside her.  "Sit next to me?" she asked sweetly.

Charles sighed and reluctantly did as she asked.  Marla chuckled at her son's lack of enthusiasm and when he sat next to her she gave his head a quick rub, messing his hair.

"Mom....." he whined, annoyed.

Ignoring his protest she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed hm on the cheek.

"MOM....." he whined louder, pulling away from her.  "ENOUGH ALREADY."

"Can't a mother show her son some love once in a while?" Marla asked amused.

Charles wiped his cheek.

"Seriously, sweetie, are you sure everything's alright?  Since when do you need to be alone?  And why was Cassie downstairs moping a minute ago?"

"Cassie?  Moping?"  Then Charles remembered that he'd yelled at her to check on Kalie.  "Oh.....that....."

"What?" Marla asked, confused.

"I thought I heard Kalie crying and I kinda got mad at Cassie for not checking on her fast enough," Charles explained.

"I've been with Kalie for most of the day, Charles.  She wasn't crying," Marla replied, still confused.

"Like I said I THOUGHT I heard her and I just wanted Cassie to check and I kinda yelled at her."

"Well I think you really hurt her feelings because she was pretty down.  And with Robin in town, the last thing you need is to create a rift between you and Cassie.  Are you trying to push her right into his arms, Charles?" Marla asked concerned.

"Nooooooo.....Mom," Charles answered getting annoyed.

"Well you've got a funny way of showing it.  You shouldn't be yelling at her and hurting her feelings so Robin can come along and patch everything up like a knight in shining armor," she advised. 

She rubbed his back.  "I'm just telling you this because I love you and I love Cassie too and I want the two of you to make it.  I want my grandtwins to have their mommy and daddy TOGETHER.  Something I wasn't fortunate enough to give you....." she said sadly.

"Thanks," he replied quietly as he stared at the floor.  "I'll make it up to her--I always do," he assured her.

"Good," she said satisfied.  "Now," she continued in a happier tone, "I need to know who's coming folr Thanksgiving because I'm hiring a caterer," she announced.  "My days of slaving away in a hot kitchen are long gone, Italian or not!"

Charles laughed and they discussed the guest list.  Afterwards he went downstairs with her to find Cassie.

Charles saw Cassie playing with the twins.  He went down to greet them, but Cassie was still mad at Charles.

"Hey beautiful." said Charles trying to kis Cassie.

But Cassie moved away from Charles.

"Oh come on now don't be like that." said Charles.

Cassie still gave Charles the silence.  Then Charles picked up the twins and made a face with them.  Cassie started to laugh a bit.

"Is that's a smile?  I think your mother have forgiven me." said Charles.

"You are not right using the twins like that." laughed Cassie.

"I knew you can't stay mad at me for long." said Charles.

"Oh I'm still mad at you." said Cassie.

"What do I have to do to make it up?" asked Charles.

"Come here." said Cassie.

The two started to kiss and started to undressed.

"DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!!" yelled Marla from upstairs.

"We need our own privacy." said Cassie.

"Well we can always do it at the school auditourim(sp) again." joked Charles.

"Very funny." said Cassie.

Meanwhile Eddie and Jenn picked up Tay and Lizzie and drove back to Marla's place.  Lizzie was discussing the plan to Tay to sneak out the house and find Dana.

"Sounds like a plan," Tay told his sister after she explained her plan.  "But shouldn't you find out from Mrs. Antoni if it's okay for Dana to stay at her crib?"

"Yeah, I will," Lizzie assured him.

Lizzie thought about what Tay was saying and smiled.  "That IS a phat whip," she agreed.  "And it's the ONLY way WE'LL ever get to ride in it......"

"Know what I'm sayin?" Tay replied deviously, hoping his sister would see things his way.

She took a deep breath and then took his hand, pulling him as she walked out of the room.  "Okay, Tay, come on and let's find Mrs. Antoni and ask her to help us get Dana out of the shelter.  I like your plan better!"

"Cool!" Tay replied happily, stumbling behind his sister.

As they walked down the long corridor of bedrooms, they quickly spotted Mrs. Antoni.  Her door was partially opened and she was laying on the bed fully dressed.

"Looks like she's resting," Lizzie observed, whispering.  "What do you think, Tay?  Bad time?  Should we ask her now or later?"

"Let's go for it," Tay whispered back immediately.

They slowly came closer to her bedroom door and Lizzie knocked softly.  "Mrs. Antoni?  Sorry to disturb you, but can we talk to you a minute? she asked timidly.

Mrs. Antoni groaned softly as she rolled over and faced the kids at the door.  "I was just falling off to sleep, guys...." she said as she rubbed her eyes and sat up.  "But now I'm awake, so come on in....."

They quietly stepped in and surprised  Mrs. Antoni when they closed the door behind them.

"This must be serious," she remarked, now fully awake and curious.

"It is," Lizzie said.  "It's about a mutual  friend of ours."

"A mutual friend? And who might THAT be?" Mrs. Antoni asked, intrigued. 

"Dana Taylor." Lizzie and Tay answered in unison.

"Mutual friend?!?...That's my girl!!!! What's going on with her?" wondered Marla.

"Well Mrs. Antoni Dana is in a homeless shelter and we don't know where she is." said Lizzie.

"A homeless shelter? What the HELL she's doing in a homeless shelter.  Wow the earthquake must've really destroyed their house." said Marla.

"Not quite." said Tay.

"I don't understand." said Marla.

"It's a long story." said Lizzie.

"We got time...now tell me what is going on with them?" Marla demanded.

So Lizzie and Tay proceeded to fill Marla in on Dana's trials and tribulations.  All about the return of her abusive husband, the eviction against Mama Taylor, the block party that failed to raise enough money to save her house, Rev. Kingston's last minute stay of eviction that helped, the fight between Eddie and the Rev which resulted in another eviction against Mama Taylor and finally the earthquake.

Marla sat with her mouth wide opened on the side of the bed.  "That poor girl........" was all she could say when the kids finished.

"Her son, our half brother, is in the hospital and he's worried about her.  We've just gotta help her, Mrs. Antoni," Lizzie pleaded.

"Absolutely!" Marla agreed, standing up and smoothing her clothes.  "Where are my shoes?" she asked as she looked around the bed. 

"We can go with you, right?" Tay asked anxiously.

"Ask your parents," she replied.

The kids weren't expecting that response and looked at each other.

"Well what are you two waiting for? Go asked your parents." said Mrs. Antoni.

"Alright we will." said Lizzie as she pull Tay out of the room.

"Are you sure you want to do that?  You'll know mom and dad will say no." said Tay.

"I know that's why we are not going to tell them." said Lizzie.

"What are you crazy?" shocked Tay.

"Do you want to find Dana or not?" asked Lizzie.

"Yes but I don't want to get in trouble Lizzie." said Tay.

"This is for a good cause.  Anyway all we have to do is tell Mrs. Antoni our parents said yes and we'll leave." said Lizzie.

"Forget that I'm not lying." said Tay.

"You're going to help Tay or do I have to tell mom and dad that you were playing strip poker with little girlfriend." said Lizzie.

"Alright I'll help but if we get caught I'm blaming everything on you." said Tay.

Then Marla finally came out of the and asked if they asked their parents yet and they both lied.  So they all to  went to Marla fancy new car and left.

Tay and Lizzie couldn't believe how fast Mrs. Antoni was driving.  Lizzie was a bit nervous, but Tay was thrilled.

"Do you know where we're going?" Lizzie asked, concerned and holding on for dear life.

"Believe me, I know where the homeless shelter is, Lizzie.  Remember, I wasn't ALWAYS filthy rich."

"Were you HOMELESS???" Tay asked in disbelief.

"Tay!" Lizzie scolded.  "Don't be RUDE!!"

Mrs. Antoni smiled.  "It's okay, Lizzie.  To answer your question, Tay, yes, at one point I was homeless--not here in Lincoln Heights though.  It was when Charles was a little baby and I had problems with Mr. Antoni but--well--let's just leave it at that."

"Oh....." Tay remarked sadly, reflecting on what she said.

"ANYWAY," Mrs, Antoini continued, "that's all in the past now."

"Yeah," Tay agreed getting happy again, "now you've got yourself a phat whip!" he said touching and admiring the soft leather interior of her car.

"Fat whip???" she asked, clueless.

"He means your car is nice, Mrs. Antoni," Lizzie explained politely.

"Oh.....okaaaay......." she said, making a face.  "See, that's why me and Dana hit it off so well--she used to teach me stuff like that--sista stuff."

Lizzie giggled.  "Yeah, Dana's ALL SISTA, that's for sure!"

"I just hope we find her and she's okay," Marla worried.

"Are we almost there?" Tay asked.

"Two more blocks," Marla announced.

Meanwhile Robin and Lulu arrived at Monica's house.

"Hey you two! What are you doing here", said Charles.

"We just wanting to talk. I know you missed me mom. You can't deny it", said Robin huging his mom tight.

"Of course I do. I miss you. Your my baby. And this girl..she speicial Robin. You keep her close", said Monica hugging Lulu.

"Thank you Ms. Monica. I feel like your my mom. Your a great person to talk to", said Lulu blushing.

"Yeah maybe soon I'll be my real daughter in law", said Monica whispering to Lulu.

"Okay mom can we change the subject", said Robin uncomfortable.

"Let's head into the kitchen. I was making your favorite Robin", said Monica.

"Grilled Cheese Sandwhich!!!!", yepled Robin

"You bet", said Monica

Robin ran into the kitchen and Lulu followed laughing.

Meanwhile Charles and Cassie were having alone time.

"Well I finally put the twins to sleep, Your parents is putting Natalie to bed, Tay & Lizzie are out and so is my mom." said Charles.

"We finally got time to ourselves." said excited Cassie.

"That's right bautiful now come with me." said Charles taking Cassie's hand.

The two went to the bathroom.  Charles ran the hot and soothing bath water and threw rose petals in the tubs.

"Ooooh Charles you are so nasty." laughed Cassie.

Charles took off his clothes and soon he started stripping Cassie's clothes off until there was nothing on.  Then the two jump in the tub and started making passionate love in the tub.  Things was getting heated until Jenn opened the door.  Charles and Cassie froze and didn't move.

Jenn, with her mouth opened wide, stood frozen as well, holding Natalie's hand.

"Mommy!" Natalie cried, pointing, "Look at Cassie and Charles!  Why don't they have their clothes on?!  Why are they taking a bath together?!"

Before Jenn could say anything, Natalie continued, "Mommy I have to pee!!!!"  She started dancing around, uncomfortably trying not to wet her pants, pulling Jenn toward the toilet bowl.

Jenn finally responded and put Natalie on the bowl and let her do her business, totally ignoring Cassie and Charles in the process.

Natalie kept questioning Jenn but she ignored Natalie's questions as well and as quickly as possible got Natalie off of the toilet, washed her hands and pushed her gently out of the bathroom.

"Go play," she told Natalie, who quickly obeyed and ran down the hall.

Jenn turned her attention back to the humiliated, naked couple standing, embraced in the bathtub, who hadn't moved an inch since she'd barged in on them.

Without any warning at all, Jenn, furious, mustered up all the strength she had and slapped Cassie across the face and just as quickly did the same to Charles. 

"Mom!!!" Cassie cried, holding her stinging cheek.

Jenn glared at the two of them for a second or two.  "Get dressed RIGHT NOW and be downstairs in FIVE MINUTES!" she demanded before leaving and slamming the door behind her.

"Alright that went well." said embarrassed Charles.

"We have got to get our place." cried Cassie.

Meanwhile at the Mrs. Antoni, Lizzie, & Tay arrived at the shelter searching for Dana.  They looked everywhere but there were no sign of Dana.  Then they ran across Jeron and Dana serving food to the homeless.

"Should we get on the food line and when they serve us surprise them? Tay asked.

"We could do that," Lizzie replied.

"Look, kids, there's no time for games here," Mrs. Antoni said in a serious tone.  "Stay here by the window and keep an eye on my car while I go talk to Dana," she instructed them.

All eyes were on Marla as she walked over to the serving table looking like a movie star, dressed in large sunglasses, stillettos and a beautiful off-white, italian-made, custom fitted leather pant suit.  A couple of men whistled admiringly at her and she ignored them.  She also ignored the fact that people were lined up waiting for a meal and cut right in front of them to speak with Dana who hadn't noticed Marla coming towards her.

"Hey Lady!  Don't you see us on line here?!" A homeless man shouted.  "Who do you think you are strutting in here and cutting the line?"

"RELAX!!" Marla shouted back loudly.  "Do I look like I came here to EAT???" she asked him sarcastically.

Dana looked up to see what all of the commotion was about, spotted Marla and let out a joyful scream.

"No I am NOT SEEING who I THINK I'm seeing!!!!" she said as she dropped her serving spoon in the pot and ran around to the other side of the table to hug Marla.

"Dana!" Marla cried, hugging her back.  "It's so good to see you!!!"

"HEY--WE WANNA EAT!!" Another homeless person yelled at Dana.

"Dana, I came to get you out of here," Marla said quietly still hugging her.  "I want you to come stay with me."

"For real?" Dana asked in disbelief.  "You mean it?"

Marla nodded.  "You don't belong here, Dana--and your poor son......"

"I don't know what to say......" Dana replied, touched.  "How did you even find me?"

"Look, we can discuss all of that on the way home.  Just get your stuff and let's get out of here.  This place is giving me the creeps!"

"Marla, I appreciate your offer and I definitely wanna take you up on it, but I can't walk out on these people now?  I've got to finish serving their meals!" she explained as more and more people started complaining on the line.

Marla looked at the long line of people and realized what a task Dana and Jeron had ahead of them.  "Okay, Dana, look," she started, "get me an apron and I'll help you," she offered finally.

Dana flashed a big smile, grabbed Marla's hand and pulled her around to the other side of the table with Jeron.
"Jeron!  Show Mrs. Antoni what to do while I go get her an apron!"

Lizzie and Tay saw what was going on.  "Looks like Mrs. Antoni is gonna help feed the homeless too," Tay observed.

"I'd like to help out," Lizzie told Tay.

"Not me.  I'm keepin my eyes on that beautiful Benz out there just like she told me to do."

"Okay, well stay here then while I go help," Lizzie instructed.

"I know you just want to be close to Jeron!" Tay teased his sister.

"Tay grow up!" Lizzie snapped back as she left him at the window and went over to the servers.

"Hey Lizzie where's your brother Tay?" asked Dana.

"My dorky borther wants to hang out in Mrs. A new car." said Lizzie.

"I don't think that's a good idea for him to be by himself this time of night." said Dana.

"Don't worry Tay won't get into too much trouble." said Lizzie.

Meanwhile Tay was playing with Marla's car and he turned up the music real loud.  Tay was jammin' until the police came over and approch the car.  The police knocked on the car window and Tay saw the cop. and roll down the window.

"Is there a problem officer?" confused Tay.

"You want to turn down that racket?" the cop ordered.

Tay turn down the radio.

"Is this your car?" asked the cop.

"No I'm waiting on someone." said Tay.

"Then who is it then?' asked the cop.

Then the other cop told his partner that he has seen this car before and the car belong to Mrs Antoni and they assume that Tay has stolen the car.  They told Tay to step out of the car and arrested him for car theft.

Lizzie saw Tay in handcufs through a window and ran outside.

"Wha! What's happened!", asked Lizzie

"This young man stole this car. He's being taken downtown for questioning", said the officer.

"Lizzie what happened. TAY!! WHAT DID YOU DO?!!", asked Marla yelling in confusion.

"They think I stole your car Marla. Please tell them there wrong", said Tay tearing up.

"OF COURSE THERE WRONG. OFFICERS LET THIS BOY GO!!", said Marla grabbing Tay.

"But...wha..I thought", said the distrought officer.

"A...you thought wrong. This is Sutton's boy. Let him go" said Marla.

"I'm terribly sorry about this", said the other officer as he uncuffed Tay.

"YEAH WHATEVER. YOU BETTER NOT DO IT AGAIN", said Marla taking Tay inside.

"Why don't you watch my car for me and tell me when the REAL theifs come", said Marla disgracing the officers as they all walked inside.

"Thank you so much Marla. I owe you big time", said Tay wipping his eyes.

"Don't even worry about it. It's all part of the job", said Marla.

Meanwhile back at the Antoni's Cassie and Charles was sitting in the living room waiting on Jenn.

"What do you think she'll do to us?" asked Charles.

"I don't know...my mom is really mad." said Cassie.

"I'm sure your mother is a reasonable person." said Charles.

"You don't know my mother that well." said Cassie.

"Just let me handle this beautiful." said Charles.

Jenn finally came in the room.

"I don't know what to do.  Are you two trying give both me and your father a heart attack Cassie?" asked Jenn.

"Mom it's not like that at all." said Cassie.

"Cassie I am trying hard to give you the benefit of the doubt here. I tried cover for you and Charles.  I even defending you.  What makes you think it's okay for you two to have sexin your MOTHER'S house?" asked Jenn.

"Mrs. Sutton let me explain.  It's not entirely Cassie fault.  I've put her up to it." said Charles.

"HA!!!" Jenn replied throwing her hands up in the air in frustration.  "Well if THAT'S not the UNDERSTATEMENT of the year, Charles!  I think I know it takes TWO to tango -- THANK YOU VERY MUCH.  However, I'm not responsible for YOU.  I'm responsible for MY DAUGHTER and I THOUGHT I raised her to have a little more dignity and self respect than she's been displaying lately!"

"Mrs. Sutton, Cassie is the most dignified and respectul person I've ever known," Charles said defending her.

"Well then you must not get around very much, Charles."

"MOM!!!" Cassie interrupted, hurt.

"Cassandra, if the shoe fits, wear it!  Your father and I were just talking about the time he caught the two of you in the shower at our house and now ...... DEJA VU!  Only THIS TIME I'M the one that got the big surprise in MARLA'S HOUSE.  What is it with you two?"

"Mom, the bathroom door was closed and YOU barged in!" Cassie accused.

Jenn slapped herself in the forehead. "Oh my God, girl, you are SO CLUELESS it's UNBELIEVABLE!"

Eddie emerged from the den, stretching and yawning and stood next to his wife.  "I was trying to catch a nap," he complained.  "What's going on Jenn?"

"Eddie you don't want to know." said Jenn.

"If it involve my daughter I want to know every details." said Eddie as he stared down at Cassie.

"Mom please you are embarassing me." whined Cassie.

"Cassie you pretty much embarass yourself." said Jenn.

Then Marla came in with Lizzie, Tay, & Dana & Jeron.

"Did I missed something?" asked Marla.

Tay and Lizzie saw their parents.

"Oh no looks like Cassie and Charles with mom and dad." said Lizzie.

"Lets get upstairs before they see us." said Tay.

The twos nuck upstairs.

"Looks like I caught you all at a bad time." said Dana.

"No you stay here. Now explan." said Marla.

"Charles do you want to do the honors?" asked Jenn.

Charles face started to turn red and he looked down into his lap, ashamed.  "I........uh, we...........were.......uh......"

Marla looked confused.  Dana looked amused.

"I think I know where this is going," Dana said to Marla.

"Well I'm glad someone does, because I don't!  Out with it, Charles!" she said impatiently.

"Well we sort of were in the bathroom and Mrs. Sutton came in and caught us," Charles finally told her.

Dana was trying hard not to let her laughter explode.

"In the BATHROOM???" Marla asked angrily in disbelief. 

"In the tub, Mom," Charles added, trying to clean it up.

"Jesus Christ, Charles!  I've HAD IT with you guys!" Marla shouted.  She turned to Dana, grabbing her hand.  "Come upstairs--I'll show you your rooms."  She started to lead Dana up the stairs.  Midway up the stiarcase, she stopped, turned and looked down at Cassie and Charles.

"Oh, and by the way, you two," she started, "you can forget your Thanksgiving Day get together.  I'm not catering anything and I'm not having any of your friends over.  If you can't respect my house and my rules then don't expect me to bend over backwards to make you happy!" she shouted.

"But---" Cassie started.

"FORGET IT, CASSIE!" Marla yelled even louder, turning red herself.  She turned and continued up the stairs with Dana.

Cassie backed down, not wanting to see the nasty side of Marla come out.  "Charles...." she whispered, "say something!"

But Charles shook his head, secretly happy that no one would be coming over, especially Robin. 

"Sorry, Cas.  Once my mom's done, she's done.   I guess we blew it, Beautiful....." he said as he put his arm around her neck and pulled her closer to him. 

It was obvious from their faces that Jenn and Eddie were pleased with Marla's decision as they looked defiantly at Charles and Cassie not saying anything.  Finally, they walked away too and left the couple on the couch alone.

"Look on the bright side at least we get to spend Thanksgiving together." said Charles trying kiss Cassie.

But Cassie got up and walked away.

"Cassie no need for us getting upset I guess we should go upstairs and think about what we done." said Charles faking his shame.

"Charles you just happy that Robin won't be there." angered Cassie.

"Oh baby you know that's not true." said Charles.

"Can it Charles.  Now if you excuse I have to  call & tell Robin and the others the bad news." said Cassie.

Even though Cassie was hurt and upset Charles was relieved that Robin wasn't coming.

"You know this is first time I am happy that I was grounded." said Charles to himself.

Upstairs in the guest room, Marla was helping Dana and Jeron get settled.

"Are you sure you and Jeron want to share a room, Dana?  There's enough space for the two of you to have separate rooms," she offered.

"No, no, girl, this guest room is huge enough for FOUR people!  Jeron and I will make out just fine in here, Marla, believe you me!"

Marla laughed.  "Okay, Dana, whatever you say!  Are you alright with that, Jeron?" she asked glancing over at him.

He was staring out of the window at her Mercedes in the driveway, not paying attention at all to the conversation.

The women both shrugged and laughed.  "Guess so," Dana replied for him.  "Oh, Marla, thanks SO MUCH for doing us this tremendous favor," she said getting serious again.

Marla waved her hand.  "Oh please!  What are friends for?  I'm sorry it took so long.  You could have been here before this if I had known....."

"I hope things don't get weird between me, Eddie and Jenn," Dana said as she sat on the bed.

"Why would things get weird?" Marla asked as she sat next to her.

"Eddie never knew that my first son is his.  Him and his wife just found out during the quake," Dana explained.

Marla thought about it for awhile.  "I don't think it'll be a problem," she finally said.  "The Suttons are a solid couple and they've both got good heads on their shoulders.  Jenn's not insecure like that."

"Well, just to make sure I'm gonna try to stay outta their way.  And in THIS big house, that shouldn't be a problem!" Dana remarked.

"I wish Cassie would stay outta Charles' way," Marla said joking.

"Yeah.....I'm glad you brought that up, girl!  What in the world???"

"You know how these crazy kids can be--especially my son and Cassie.  Apparently, Jenn busted them doing the nasty in my bathtub.  And now that I think about it, I'm gonna make sure Charles cleans that tub out til it's sparkling!"

Dana shook her head.  "Hmph!  They haven't learned ANYTHING since the summer.  They were carrying on in the beach house over the summer and so were Robin and Lulu!" she complained.

"Well what can we expect?  They're young and in love....." Marla sighed.

"True, but it's good you put your foot down the way you did, girl."

"Well you and I know what it's like to be a single woman raising a son.  One thing you need is a foot to either put DOWN or put up their butt!" Marla said as she kicked her foot up in the air.

"I'm about to put my foot up Jeron's butt if he don't get from behind that window and help me unpack these clothes," Dana threatened, looking back at Jeron who was still staring out at the driveway.  "JERON!!!"

Startled he finally came back to his senses.  "Yeah, moms?"

"Don't you 'yeah moms' me, boy!  Come help get these clothes out of the suitcase and into the closet!" she demanded.

He reluctantly left the window and came over to the bed.  "You got a nice car, Mrs. Antoni," he said bashfully.

Marla smiled.  "You mean a phat whip," she corrected him.

"Yeah whatever!" said Jeron.

Marla laughed while she left the room.

Meanwhile at Jenn was in the other room with Eddie.

"I just don't know what to do with that girl anymore.  I can't keep my off for five seconds.  Don't they ever think?" asked Jenn.

"They're teenagers Jenn they don't think." said Eddie.

"I don't know I just want to strangle Cassie right now." said Jenn.

"Charles is lucky he's with his mother because I just want to kill him right now." said Eddie.

"Maybe we should've signed Cassie up with the semseter at sea like Robin and Lulu." said Jenn.

"That's not a bad idea but one problem...Robin!!!" said Eddie.

"What's wrong with Robin?" asked Jenn.

"Hey I like Robin but last time Cassie was on a crusie with Robin they were also in bed together and you know how that turned out." said Eddie.

"True but despite that Robin didn't give us that much trouble and he had a positive influence on Cassie." said Jenn.

"Yeah but Robin is involve with Lulu.  Anyway I thought you liked Charles." wondered Eddie.

"I do like Charles.  I think still think him and Cassie belong together but I also want them to be more responsible and show us a little bit more respect.  Those two really have a lot of growing up to do."said Jenn.

A knock on the door interrupted their conversation.

"Come in," said Eddie.

Marla just poked her head in .  "Sorry you two for blowing up like that downstairs at your daughter," she apologized.

"Come in," Eddie said again beckoning FOR her to enter.

She stepped in and closed the door behind her.  "I don't want to intrude," she continued.  I just LOST IT!  Hearing that those two were in my TUB--GOD!!"

"Yeah, we know," Jenn agreed, "we were just talking about it......"

"And you Jenn---you actually walked in on them?  I think I would've died right there!" Marla admitted dramatically.

"And did I mention I had Natalie with me?  Begging to go pee-pee??  I tell you, if it wasn't for her being there either I would've died or I would've killed one of our kids and it probably would've been MINE!"

"But still, I'm wondering......do you think I was too hard on them?  Cancelling the dinner and all?" Marla asked unsure of herself.

"Heck no!" Eddie replied quickly.  "Why not cancel Christmas too?" he suggested.

"Eddie stop!" Jenn scolded.

Marla chuckled.  "Oh, okay, so I did the right thing then," she replied, relieved.

"You certainly did.  The kids were totally wrong and believe me, you're getting an apology from Cassie," Jenn assured her.

"It's okay, Jenn, really.  I think she's been humiliated enough," Marla responded graciously.

"No she hasn't," Eddie contradicted.  "She owes you an apology."

"Well, you're her parents, not me," Marla conceded.  "I'm okay though, really.  I was a teenage girl with a hot boyfriend once so I can sort of empathize with her....."

"Well don't!" Eddie replied.  "We're the parents and we've got to stand our ground.  If we show the least sign of weakness, it's all over and the kids will be running us.  And I don't know about you, Marla, but I ain't having it!"

"Okay, okay, I get it, Eddie."  Marla stood at attention like a solder and saluted him.  "I'll be strong!" she joked. 

She started to turn and leave and then remembered something else.  "One more thing......"

"What's that?" Jenn asked.

"About Dana......."  Marla felt a little uncomfortable bringing it up. 

"Say no more," Jenn said, putting her at ease.  "This is YOUR house and we're grateful to you for letting us stay and if you want Dana to stay too then who are we to stop her?  She deserves a break, that's for sure."

Eddie looked at his wife, touched that she could be so understanding, considering the circumstances with Nate.

"I told Dana you would be alright with it," Marla  said, "but she was concerned."

"She doesn't have to be," Jenn continued.  "We're all in this together," she said smiling warmly.

Marla breathed a sigh of relief.  "Well then I guess I'll leave you two alone," she told them as she again started to leave the bedroom.  "And don't do anything I wouldn't do," she teased them.

"Funny you should mention that," Jenn replied.  "How's Bill?" she teased back.

"Oh my God I almost forgot!!!  I have to call him to see if he's still up for some Thanksgiving dinner." said  Marla.

Marla left the room.

"I think Bill is really good for Marla." said Jenn.

"I guess but I still think we should stay out of Marla's love life." said Eddie.

"I know but Marla is our friend.  We are doing the right thing by not letting Cassie to invite her friends over?" asked Jenn.

"Yes those two needs to respect us." said Eddie.

Meanwhile Cassie called Lulu to deliver the bad news

"Get out!!!!!!" Lulu replied in disbelief after she heard what happened to Cassie and Charles.

"Oh Lulu......" Cassie continued whining, "I've never been so EMBARRASSED in my LIFE!  It was WORSE than the time my Dad caught us in the shower!"

Lulu felt bad for her friend but also felt like laughing as she got a mental picture of her friends in the buff.  "Oh Cassie....." was all she could say. 

Robin was on the couch with his feet propped up on his mother's coffee table watching tv, but he could hear a little of her conversation and when he realized it was Cassie on the other end his curiosity grew.  "What's up?" he asked.

Lulu didn't answer, still listening to Cassie.  Robin got up from the couch and stood next to her.  "Is something wrong?" he asked, alarmed.

"I'll explain later...Cassie is in a middle of a crisis again." said Lulu.

"Let me guess Charles?" wondered Robin.

"Worst her folks and his folks." said Lulu.

"Wow things must be really bad for both of their parents to make Cassie upset." said ZRobin.

"I know but Robin this is also girl talk as well I need a little bit of privacy.  I promise explain eveything to you when I get off the phone.  I promise." said Lulu.

"Okay I trust you." said Robin leaving the room.

"Alright I'm back." said Lulu.

"Lulu I don't what to do anymore I just get away from everybody.  I just so sick of this place." said upset Cassie.

"Mrs. Antoni's house?" confused Lulu.

"No...this whole damn place." cried Cassie.

"Oh Cassie!  Have you at least tried talking to your parents?" asked Lulu.

"No they will never listen." cried Cassie.

"How about talking to Mrs. Antoni and reason with her." said Lulu.

"I don't know she seems really upset and Charles is no help at all." said Cassie.

Then Cassie heard the twins crying.

"I got to go Lulu. The twins are crying again." said Cassie.

"Alright you hang in there girl." said Lulu.

"I'll try." said Cassie hanging up.

Then Lulu went and sat next to Robin.

"Robin bad news.  We won't be able to go over to Mrs. A for Thanksgiving dinner." said Lulu.

"What!!! Why not?" shocked Robin.

"Let just say Cassie and Charles got freaky in the bathtub and Jenn walked in on them." said Lulu.

"Oh no!!!" said Robin.

"Robin....." Lulu started slowly, "calm down.....okaaaaay?"

"But this is gonna mess up everything!" he complained.

Lulu tossed her cellphone on the couch, faced Robin and took both of his hands in hers.  "It doesn't have to mess anything up---for US---that is," she told him as she planted little kisses all over his face.

He started to loosen up, enjoying the attention.  "It doesn't?" he asked.

"No, not at all.  I love my friends, but I don't want THEIR drama to ruin OUR Thanksgiving together, Robin.  Do you?" she asked point blank.

At that moment, Robin felt torn between his loyalty to Lulu and his loyalty to Cassie.

"Come on Robin. Don't be upset. I can make you feel better", said Lulu kissing him.

Robin smiled."Now lets not be like Cassie and Charles", said Robin, "let's be better".

Meanwhile Charles felt horrible and wanted to make things up to Cassie.

He found her inn the nursery crying.

"Cassie?!! What's wrong?!", Charles said embracing her in his arms.

"I..I just can't do it anymore Charles", said Cassie.

"What's wrong Cassie. I'm here for you", said Charles worried.

"I hate this place. There's to much stress. I can't deal with it anymore", said Cassie.

"You wnat to get out my mom's house..the neighborhood. What do you mean?", said Charles.

"I just need to get away from everybody." cried Cassie.

"I know things look bad now beautiful.  Tomorrow we will sit down and try to reason with them. I will try to talk to my mom." said Charles.

"They won't listen to us don't you understand?" upseted Cassie.

"My mom is just upset.  This will blow over soon." said Charles.

As Charles tried to kiss Cassie she moved away.

"Charles don't" said Cassie.

"Baby I like kissing you." said Charles.

"Yeah and everytime we get too close something bad happens...I gotta go." said Cassie.

"Go where?" asked Charles.

"To get some air." said Cassie leaving.

"I have to find a way to make Cassie happy." said Charles to himself.

The next day at Monica's house. It was Thanksgiving day Robin came downstairs to talk to his mother and told her the bad news.

"Oh I'm sorry to hear that Robin." said Monica.

"I'm sorry too I know you wanted to have a nice Thanksgiving dinner." said Robin.

"I know but that's not what Thanksgiving is about.  It's about family and friends and being thankful.  I just thankful I get to see you and Lulu again.  I know you're disappointed.  You wanting to spend time with your friend Cassie but she and Charles brought this on themselves." said Monica.

"But mom!!!" whined Robin.

"Now I love Cassie but they have to learn to respect other people house's." said Monica.

"But she's at Charles' house." said RObin.

"No she is at Charles' mother house.  Charles doesn't pay the bill at her house and two they should no better." said Monica.

" I guess you're right." sigh Robin.

"Robin you still don't have feelings for Cassie do you?" wondered Monica.

"Cassie & I are just friends." said RObin as he answered quickly.

"Don't feel badwe just make some turkey burgers and fries.  It may not be a Thanksgiving dinner but at least me,you and Lulu will be together." said RObin.

Then suddenly the doorbell rang.  Robin answered the door and it was Cassie.

"Cassie?" shocked RObin.

"Robin please let me stay here. I just can't take it anymore." cried Cassie.

Robin quickly pulled her inside and they hugged one another for a long time, Robin, caressing her back and Cassie with her head buried in his chest.  Monica stood by, watching, very concerned.  Finally, she cleared her throat.

"Ahem!  Uh.......hello you two?" she said awkardly.

Slowly they pulled away from each other, but not the least bit embarrassed that Monica had witnessed their display of affection.

"Cassie, I'm really worried about you," Robin told her as he held her hand and led her to the couch.  "Sit," he told her.

She sat down obediently and looked up at him, childlike.  She looked very vulnerable and frazzled. 

"First, off," he started, "where are the twins?" he asked in disbelief.

She looked around a little as if she expected them to be at her side.  "I--I left them with ...... everyone..." she fumbled.

"Cassie, you can't do that," Robin said softly.  "Does anyone even know where you are?  Your parents?  Charles?"

She shook her head no.  "I told Charles I needed some air," she confessed.

"He's gonna be pissed big time if he finds out you're HERE with ME for some AIR, Cassie," he replied very concerned.

"Well........I could have come to be with Lulu, right?" Cassie asked nervously.  "Where is Lulu anyway?" she asked, continuing to look around nervously.

"She fell asleep in the back," Robin answered.  "Maybe I should wake her up," he said as he started towards the back.

"No!" Cassie quickly objected.  "Later....." she suggested.  "Please, Robin, I just need you right now to be with me.  Remember how we were in the hospital together?  So close?  You always knew how to make me feel better, and I need to feel better now.  Please?"

Robin looked at Monica who was still standing by the door.  She shook her head slowly, hoping he'd realize what a bad idea it would be for him to give in to Cassie's plea.  Of course, Robin ignored his mother and sat on the couch next to Cassie instead, putting his arm around her.  The two just sat quietly together, both of them with their eyes closed. 

Monica looked sad and walked away, worried about the mess her son was getting himself into.

"Cassie you do know I love you.  I love you very much!!!." said Robin as he held Cassie.

"Yes I know I love you too." said Cassie.

"But we cannot make this more than just friends relationship.  I cannot  hurt Lulu.  Plus I don't want to get into another fight with Charles.  You know that." said Robin.

"I know Robin but you're the only one I talk to right now. Just be with me and hold me." said Cassie.

"Okay Cassie." said Robin as he give in.

Then Monica came in with some hot cocoa.

"Hey two I thought you all needed something warm to drink." said Monica.

"Awesome. thanks mom." said Robin.

"Thanks!." said Cassie.

Then Lulu came from the back.

"Lulu you just in time for hot cocoa." said Monica.

"Cool thanks...Cassie what are you doing here?" asked Lulu.

Cassie was caught off guard.  "I um........" she stalled.

Robin took his arm from around Cassie and reached for the cocoa. 

"She came to see you," he said answering Lulu's question as nonchalantly as he possibly could.  "But since you were knocked out, we just decided to chill here on the couch for awhile." 

He caught Lulu's eye as he slurped on his cocoa and hoped that she believed him.  Cassie was hoping the same thing, not wanting to cause any trouble for the two of them.

"Oh," Lulu replied after a few seconds.  "Cool!"  She flashed a quick smile and started to join them on the couch--she on Robin's left and Cassie on Robin's right.

"Have some," Robin offered as he put his mug up to Lulu's lips and watched her sip some of his cocoa. 

"Mmmmm......" she moaned happily after her sip.
