After their conversation, Kate left and Charles finally got a chance to see Cassie.

"Hey, Beautiful," he said as he carressed the side of her face.  "You had us all scared to death."

"Sorry.  But I'm okay, Charles, don't worry."

"No one will tell me anything, Cassie.  I STILL don't know what was wrong with you," he complained.

"Charles, do you know what fibroids are?" Cassie asked.

"No, Cassie, but was that the problem?"

"Yes.  Fibroiid tumors can be very painful and cause bleeding.  Apparently I had one and it ruptured," she lied.

"Are you sure you're okay now?" he asked very concerned.

"I feel alot better--honest.  Where are my babies?"

"Mom took Colin and Kalie to a hotel, but I told her I wasn't going anywhere until I got to see you, Cassie."

"Oh Charles......you're so sweet.  Stay with me?" she asked.

"Just try and get rid of me," he replied with a smile as he pulled a chair up close to her bed and sat down.

"You took care of me when I was in the hospital and now it's my turn." said Charles as she kiss her forehead.

"Charles you are so good to me.  I'm sorry if this spoils things for us to get to Utah." said Cassie.

"It doesn't matter beautiful I more concern for you getting healthy." said Charles.

Meanwhile back at the Heights Nate and Jeron was waiting for Lizzie so they can leave for the rollor rink.  Then Lizzie came downstairs all dressed up.

"Damn you look fine." said Jeron.

"Thanks, Jeron," Lizzie responded, with a smile from ear to ear as she spun around slowly, striking a pose.

"Let's forget the rink and go straight to the hotel!" he joked.

Nate slapped the back of Jeron's head really hard.

"OW!!!" Jeron yelled.

"Ouch!  I even felt that!!" Lizzie laughed.

"Remember what we talked about earlier, Jeron," Nate warned.

"I was KIDDING yo!  Can't a player kid around?!" Jeron asked, exasperated.

"Jeron, I'm NOT THAT KIND OF GIRL!" Lizzie teased as she winked at Nate.

Jeron rubbed the back of his stinging head.  "Can we just go please?" he asked, annoyed, as he headed for the door.

As they walked to the car, Lizzie put her arm through Jeron's arm.  "How's your head?" she asked, tryng to be sympathetic.

"Forget my head, girl.  You are WORKING those JEANS, Lizzie!" he said as he checked her out from behind.

"You must like getting slapped in the head," Lizzie replied.  Then, she decided to change the subject.

"Jeron, can you skate as good as you dance?" she asked, curious.

"I'll let you answer that yourself," he answered with a grin.

Meanwhile back in San Diego Dana was trying to get in contack with Marla. 

"Come on Marla answer the phone." annoyed Dana.

Meanwhile Marla was at the hotel with the twins.  She finally put the twins to sleep until her cell phone started to vibrate.  She found out it was Dana and she answered it.

"Dana, hi,"

"What took you so long to answer?" Dana complained.

"I was getting the kids to sleep," Marla explained.

"So y'all are really gonna do this?  Drive to UTAH???" she asked in disbelief.

"That's the plan, Dana.  As soon as Cassie gets out of the hospital, we--"

"Hold up--hold up!!" Dana interrupted.  "HOSPITAL???  CASSIE'S in the HOSPITAL???"

"Oh.....right....you don't know about that, do you?" Marla remembered.

"You know, Marla, you are a TRIP!   NOBODY KNOWS because NOBODY TOLD US!" she yelled, upset.

"Dana, gimme a break, will you?  I'M SORRY, but I'm EXHAUSTED, I'm HURT, I'm DEPRESSED, I'm SCARED and I just forgot to call you when Cassie went to the emergency room!" Marla explained.

Dana took a deep breath and tried to calm down.  "Girl, you know I love you, and I'm sorry you're going through all of this with Charles and all, but you got some explaining to do---starting with---why is Cassie in the emergency room?  Charles didn't go off on her, did he?"

"NO!!!!  We were in the car, driving, and all of a sudden she keeled over in pain and grabbed her stomach and told us to get her to the hospital, so we did.  They kept her SO LONG, Dana.  I finally had to get outta there and I took the twins and found a hotel for us, but Charles stayed behind with Cassie."

"So you still don't know what's wrong with her?" Dana asked.

"Charles hasn't called me, and I've been too busy with Colin and Kalie."

"Hmph!  Well I'm calling Charles RIGHT NOW," Dana announced.

"Believe me, Dana, as soon as I found out from Charles I was gonna call you and fill you in on everything," Marla assured her.

"Well I'm just glad I called YOU," Dana replied.

"Before you hang up, how are the Bradshaws?" Marla asked.

"You know Beverly let the Judge have it, girl!  I didn't know that lady could cuss like that--she out cussed me!"

"Really?" Marla asked.

"Yeah, girl!  You know he was dead wrong saying all what he said--calling y'all out like that--and kicking you out???  OH NO!!! He was TRIPPIN big time, Marla!"

"He didn't kick Cassie out--just me and Charles."

"Don't matter!  He knows Cassie and Charles are tied together at the hip--or at least he SHOULD know!  They may have had their problems, but they stick together when it counts and I guess the Judge knows that now!  I wonder how's he gonna feel when he hears that Cassie's in the hopsital now?!  I bet all the stress from fighting with him is what landed her in there in the first place!"

"Yeah, I was thinking that too...." Marla agreed.

"ANYWAY, I'm glad you're okay, girl.  Go get some rest, and I'm gonna call Charles--I hope I can reach him."

"Okay, Dana.  And just for the record, I'm sorry you came out to San Diego with me and then I ditched you," Marla apologized.

"PUH-LEEEZE!  You didn't ditch me!!  You think I wanna go to UTAH???  I'm happy right here with the Bradshaws--believe you me," she assured her friend.

Marla laughed.  "Oh, okay then,"

"Just wire me some money so I can fly back to your house," she added.

"I'll do that," Marla agreed.

They said their goodbyes and then Dana called Charles.

"Hold on beautiful that's Dana ringing my cell." said Charles as he was getting the phone.

"Hello, Charles" Dana answered.

"Hey Dana" said Charles.

"I just got off the phoe with your mother.  She told me everything.  What's wrong with Cassie?" concerned Dana.

"Cassie has fibroid tumors." said Charles.

"Are you serious?' shocked Dana.

"Yes that what she told me." said Charles.

"Is she alright?" asked Dana.

"Yeah she's fine." said Charles.

"Oh good...." Dana replied, relieved.  "You know Charles, I feel really bad about how things turned out between you and Judge Bradshaw, and I feel kind of responsible too.  If I hadn't told you to go downstairs and find out from him what all the fuss was about, you and him wouldn't have gotten into it," she admitted.

Charles chuckled a little.  "Funny thing is, I still don't know what all the fuss was about, Dana.  And I guess you're STILL not gonna tell, are you?"

Dana sighed as her resolve weakened.  "I'll tell you, Charles, even though it's against my better judgment."

'I'm listening," he replied, trying not to sound too anxious.

"Well, it all started over Robin.  He was on TV getting an award and folks started comparing you with Robin and your mom got upset and then the Judge got upset and Cassie got upset and....... well....... there you have it," Dana explained.

For awhile Charles was quiet on the other end.

"Award for what?" he finally asked.

"Robin was in a plane crash on his way back to Sea School and he saved someone's life.  So he got this dope award from the Airline President and they even named yesterday Robin Morgan Day.  Your mom feels like you saved a life too but nobody's giving you any props, and when she said that one thing led to another between her and the Judge and Cassie."

Charles thought about what Dana told him.  "So Dana, why are you telling me all of this now?" he asked, curious.

"Charles, you're strong enough to hear it now, that's why.  When you were sick in the hospital no one wanted to get you upset by mentioning Robin's name or what Robin had done or was gonna be doing because we knew it would upset you and you needed to get better.  But now you're better, you're out of the hospital and I'm HOPING that you'll handle this information like THE MAN that I know you can be and not THE BOY that everyone still thinks you are!  Whatever you do, Charles, don't make me regret telling you."

"I won't, Dana.  I just wish OTHER PEOPLE had as much faith in me as you seem to have," he said as he looked at Cassie with dissappointment in his eyes.

"I know you're talking about Cassie.  And let me just say this, Charles----NO ONE has more faith in you than SHE does--always remember that," Dana advised.

Unfortunately, Charles had already hung up the phone.

"Who was that Charles?" asked Cassie.

"Just Dana." said Charles.

"Oh Charles I wanted to talk to her." said Cassie.

"No you need your rest." said Charles.

"Charles are you alright?  You look upset." concerned Cassie.

"It's been a long day Cassie.  You really need some rest.  We'll talk in the morning." said Charles.

Meanwhile back at the Heights Tay decide to give Sage a call and tell her about Dan.

"What do you want Tay?" annoyed Sage.

"Sage there's something you need to know about your boy Dan." said Tay.

"Why are you still trippin' about him?" asked Sage.

"Because he's playing you for a fool." said Tay.

"What are you talking about?" asked Sage.

"Earlier this afternoon I was at the restuarant and I saw your boy making out with some girl." said Tay.

"Yeah sure Tay." said Sage unconvince.

"Sage I'm not lying to you.  Your boy is messing around." said Tay.

"You don't ever quit do you?  Tay you are too young for me.  I'm with someone get over it and find someone else." said Sage.

"Sage it's not even like that.  I'm looking out for you." said Tay.

"Well don't! I've already got my father doing that and he's annoying enough.  I don't need to little kid telling me what to do." said Sage.

"Little kid!??! Little kid after all I've done for you.  I defended and everything.  That's how you're going treat me?  You don't need to be going out with scumbag because he's a lying two face weasel." snapped Tay.

"Alright STOP IT!!! That's enough Tay.  I just about had it with you.  Look I know Dan.  He would never cheat on me and if you continue to make up terrible lies about him then you can't hang out with me anymore so BUTT OUT!!!" yelled Sage as she hunged up.

Meanwhile Charles tried to rashionly think of a solution to his problem, so he decided to call Robin and leave him a message.

"Hey Robin this is Charles. Uhm...I just called to give you a "friendly" warning. I know that you just came through some airplane crash or whatever, but I want you to leave me, the twins, AND Cassie alone. And for good. I'm tired of trying to compete for her attention, and I tried of being looked down on becaused your in the picture. Stay with your girl Lulu and leave Cassie and me the fuck alone. Have a great life," said Charles in rage as he closed his cell phone.

"Who was that Charles?" asked Cassie as she sat up.

"No one important, but don't worry they won't be bothering us again," said Charles as he layed next to Cassie.

Back at Marla's house, Tay is in his room hurt and angry over his conversation with Sage.  He decides there's nothing left for him to do than let her see the pictures he took of Danny and Giselle with his camera phone, so he sends them to her email address.

Meanwhile, back in San Diego, Dana decides it's time to let Cassie's grandparents know that their granddaughter has been hospitalized.

"Cassie in the hospital!?!" shocked Beverly.

"What happened to my poor granddaughter?" said Judge Bradshaw.

"Well from what I have heard Cassie has fibroid tumors." said Dana.

"FIBROID TUMORS!!!" shocked Beverly.

"Not to worry Cassie is okay.  She is in the hospital resting." said Dana.

"This is my fault.  I upset her and all." said Judge Bradshaw feeling.

"Nevermind who fault it is.  We have to go and check on our grandbaby." said Beverly.

"You're right." said Judge Bradshaw.

"So what are we waiting for lets go." said Dana.

Meanwhile Robin recieved a text message from Charles.  Robin realize that the so called friendly text message was a threat he returned a message of his own.

To Charles.  You listen you miserable insecure jackass.  No one tells me who I can or cannot be with.  I have the right to hang out whoever I want. And for the last time Cassie and I are just friends and nothing else.  I am not going to stop seeing her and I am not going to stop being her friend.  You need to man up and get over it you big pussy.  And for your information Lulu and I are engaged.  You don't need to worry about me moving in on Cassie.  Like it or not I'm going to stay Cassie friend.  And if you send me another stupid text message like that again I will come and kick your fucking ass.

Robin.

Robin sent the text message to Charles.  And then Robin blocked Charles calls.  CHarles got Robin's message and he was furious.  Vain was popping out his forehead and he started to turned red.  So Charles ran to the washroom and started screaming.

As fate would have it, at approximately the same time Charles was reading Robin's text message, Sage received Tay's email with the picture attachments of lovey-dovey Giselle and Danny living it up at the restaurant. 

When  she opened the message and saw the pictures she also ran screaming out of her room and down the hall, scaring her father half to death.

"Jesus Christ, Sage!  What is it?!" Lund shouted, alarmed, as he came out of his room half dressed.

"I just wanna die!  I just wanna DIE!!!" she sobbed as she collapsed to the floor.

Lund knelt down beside his daughter and grabbed her by the shoulders, trying to shake some sense into her.

"Sage!  Get a hold of yourself and tell me what's wrong!" he demanded.

After she sobbed awhile longer, she started to gain some control and calm down.

"That's better," Lund consolded her, stroking her hair as he sat with her on the floor and hugged her.  "Now talk to me"

"I just found out that the guy I really care about is a total jerk." cried Sage.

"Who Dan?" confused Lund

"Well it's not Charles." said Sage sarcasticly.

"No I don't think Dan would do that to you." said Lund.

"Oh yeah see for yourself." said Sage as she showed her father the picture on her cell.

"Sage it just him and some girl having lunch." said Lund.

"Exactly my point." said Sage.

"I think you are jumping to conclusion." said Lund as he defending Dan.

"He's cheating on me.  He hasn't been returning my calls.  He's been avoiding me.  It doesn't take a genius to figure this out." said Sage.

"Well if he is you're probably getting what you deserved." said Lund.

"What?" shocked Sage.

"Well you haven't exactly been faithful to Dan yourself.  Remember you ran off with Charles and Robin on that roadtrip without telling me and you're grounded by the way.

"Who side are you on?" anger Sage.

"No one but I really think you and Dan need to talk before this gets out of hand." said Lund.

Meanwhile, back in San Diego County Hospital, Cassie, weak from her miscarriage and loss of blood, is sound asleep and doesn't wake up even though Charles ran to the washroom screaming. 

Kate, however, heard the screaming and rushed into the room to see what was going on.  She was relieved to see Cassie sleeping peacefully and noticed that the door to the washroom was closed.  She heard Charles in the bathroom but decided to let him be and devoted her attention to Cassie since she was now the patient.  After she checked Cassie's vital signs and was satisfied that everything was normal, she started to leave, but then noticed that Charles' cell phone was at the foot of Cassie's bed, opened to a text message. 

Kate's curiosity got the best of her and she picked up Charles' cell and read Robin's text message.  After reading it, she was in a state of disbelief. 

"I thought Cassie said Robin was a nice guy, but from this text message, he seems anything BUT nice....." Kate thought to herself as she stared at the text messaage.

"This young lady has gotten herself into such a mess!  I wish I could do SOMETHING to help her...." Kate continued thinking.

Suddenly, she got an idea.  Quietly, she looked around Cassie's hospital room and found Cassie's cell phone. 

"God, please forgive me for what I'm about to do, but this is for Cassie's own good...." she silently prayed.

She opened the phone, turned it on and started scrolling through Cassie's contact list until she found Robin.  She compared the number in Cassie's phone with the number on the text message to make sure it was the same, and when she was sure it was the same number she started to text Robin from Cassie's phone:

"Dear Robin,
I will always be your friend--you know that.  In my heart, I'll always care for you.  But please don't try to contact me anymore.  When the time is right, I promise I will get in touch with you.  But for now I need time to be with my children and their father.  I love them very much and it hurts that you would call Charles names like that and threaten him.  I thought you were a bigger person, Robin, but I guess no one is perfect, not even you.  So don't worry, I forgive you for insulting him and threatening him, but I still want you to respect our privacy for now and just leave us alone so that we can work together on becoming and staying a family.  Best of luck to you and Lulu.  I'll keep in touch with her.
Don't be mad at me Robin, because this is for the best. 
Cassie"

Kate read the message over, and as her heart pounded with anxiety she hit "send" and saw that the message went through successfully.

Nervous, she turned off Cassie's phone and put it back where she found it.  She left Charles' phone on the bed where it was before and left the room before Charles came out of the wash room.

Meanwhile, Robin received the text message from "Cassie" and read it.

Robin was hurt and heartbroken when he read the message.  He told his mother all about it.

"Don't feel bad Robin.  Maybe it's for the better.  You're better off without her." said Monica as she console Robin.

"But she doesn't understand.  Charles was the one who started it.  He threaten me so I responded.  I can't see how she misunderstood." confused Robin.

"I understand her perfectly.  Cassie is ungrateful and very unapprectiative.  You've been there for her and this is the thanks you get.  Don't you see you made a wise descision when you chose Lulu.  It's just a sign to say there's better things to come for you." said Monica as she was relieved.

"I guess you're right.  But this doesn't add up." said Robin.

"Robin trust me on this one.  You said it yourself that you are tired of dealing with their drama." said Monica.

"Well yeah." said Robin.

"Baby you are engaged to Lulu.  So it's actually Cassie's lost.  Beside that girl has too much drama so you are better off." said Monica.

"I suppose you're right." said Robin.

"Robin, right now you have something else VERY IMPORTANT to deal with," Monica continued as she tried to get her son's mind off of Cassie.

"What's that?" he asked, down in the dumps.

"Robin, what in the world are you gonna do about getting on the Sea School Ship?" Monica asked, losing patience.

"Oh.......................that..............." he replied, his mind elsewhere.

"Yes, Robin----THAT.  What, IF ANYTHING, did you find on the internet about alternate travel?" she asked, doubtful.

Robin sighed, sadly.  "Nothing.  It's useless.  I'll just take my chances and fly to the ship," he told her.

Monica's face lit up.  "Really, baby?  Do you really mean it?" she asked relieved and happy.

"Sure.  Who cares, anyway?  If I die, I die, right?" he asked nonchalantly.

"You're NOT going to DIE, Robin!  You were in a plane crash for heaven's sake and DIDN'T DIE!" she reasoned.

"Almost died," he answered quietly, deep in thought.

"Enough of this, Robin.  You gave me your word and that's that--you're flying back to Sea School.  I'm gonna make your reservation right now," she said hastily as she got on the phone.

"Sure, Mom, WHATEVER," he reluctantly agreed.

Meanwhile, Charles has finally calmed down and returned to Cassie's bedside while she sleeps in her hospital bed.

"Sleep well beautiful. We will get to Utah soon enough and if Robin is still here.  It's go time  I don't care if I go to jail I will kill him for sure." said Charles as fell asleep.

Later on Dana, Judge Bradshaw and Beverly arrived at the hospital.  They all went to Cassie room.  They saw her and Charles fast asleep.  Judge Bradshaw saw Charles sleeping next to Cassie so he grabbed him and threw him to the other chairs.

"BRADSHAW!!!" shocked Beverly.

"Sorry but he got to respect hospital policy." said Judge Bradshaw.

Cassie finally woke up.

At first, Cassie was very disoriented, not remembering where she was or why she was there.

"What's going on?" she asked as she looked at the three of them standing over her bed. 

"Sweetheart......how are you feeling?  Did you have a good night's rest?" Beverly asked, very concerned.

Cassie struggled to sit up and the Judge helped her, propping pillows behind her.  "Comfy?" he asked, hoping she wouldn't still be mad at him.

"Thanks, Grandpa."  She said as she rubbed her temples with her fingers.  "I feel so OUT OF IT...." she complained.

"That's understandable," Dana remarked.  "It's a good thing this happened before you got in the middle of NOWHERE witih no hospital to run to!"

"Remind me......what happened?" Cassie asked.

"Cassie, you were in pain and we had to bring you to the hospital, and you started bleeding and all," Charles answered, refreshing her memory.

"Oh..........okay........yeah...........I'm in the hospital, that's right," she agreed slowly.

"They must've had you on some HEAVY drugs, girl!" Dana joked.

"My babies............where are my babies?!" she asked, worried as she glanced around the room.

"Don't worry, they're with my mom at a hotel," Charles comforted her.

"Oh.....thank God," she said calming down.  She took a deep breath and tried to clear her head.

"Would you like some water, dear?" Beverly asked pouring some from the pitcher.

"Thank you, Grandma," Cassie said as she took it and drank.   "Aaaaahhh......"

"Feeling better?" Beverly asked.

Cassie nodded.  "A little.  I remember now what's going--why I'm here.  Charles, we were going to Utah, right?"

"Yes, Beautiful."

"Because there was a big fight back at your house, right Grandma?" she asked Beverly.

"Yes, dear."

"Cassandra, before you go any further with this, I want to say something," the Judge interrupted.

Everyone was quiet and looked at the Judge, waiting to hear what he had to say.

"Cassandra look I am really sorry for blowing my top earlier.  I didn't mean to upset you.  I love you very much and the last I ever want to see you unhappy. I know I make a big fuss about Robin but he is such a good person and I thought you'll be happy for him." said Judge Bradshaw.

"Grandpa I am happy for Robin and I am really proud of him but he's not my boyfriend Charles is.  I just want people to treat him like a human being." said Cassie.

Judge Bradshaw look at Charles with a dirty look.

"Personally I think you could do so much better than him...however if this boy makes you happy and that's all I care about is you being happy." said Judge Bradshaw.

"Thanks Grandpa." said Cassie as she hugged her grandfather.

"Look you are more than welcome to come back to our house and stay and if that boy's mother shows up to the hospital tell her that I am sorry and she is welcome to come back as well." said Bradshaw.

"Great and what about Charles?" asked Cassie.

(Sigh) That thing can come to." said Bradshaw.

"Bradshaw!!! Charles is more than welcome." said Beverly.

"Thanks I'll think about it." said Cassie with a smile.

"Now that's what I like to see a smile on your face." said Judge Bradshaw.

"We better go and let you rest.  We'll be back tomorrow to check on you." said Beverly.

The Judge and Beverly left the room, but Dana lagged behind a little so that she could talk to Chassie separately.

"Hey you two, I hope you take them up on their offer and come back to the house where you belong," she said.

"I don't have a problem with it," Cassie told her.  "But it's up to Charles.  Wherever you want to go, Charles, I'm 100 percent in your corner."

Charles looked touched as he thought about what Cassie said.

"I really want to go to Utah, Cassie.  But you're not well, and even when you get out of here, the last thing you need is a long road trip."

"See?  I KNEW you could be a stand-up kinda guy!" Dana complimented him.

Charles chuckled at Dana's enthusiasm, and then turned his attention back to Cassie.
 
"Cassie, how would you feel about me and the twins going to Utah with my Mom, while you stay in San Diego and recuperate?  You could join us later," he suggested.

"But I thought you wanted to be together, Charles....." Cassie replied.

"I do, Beautiful.  But now I see that you really need time to yourself to get better.  How can you get better chasing after Colin and Kalie?" he asked.

"Yeah, AND CHARLES," Dana added.

Cassie gave Dana a look of disapproval.

"Okay, okay, I'm going, I'm going!" Dana said as she headed for the door.  "But think about it, Cassie.  It'll just be me, you, the Judge and his wife."

"Well, actually Dana, maybe you could come to Utah with me and mom and help us out with the kids," Charles said.

"Say what???  UTAH???  Are you KIDDING?!" Dana objected.

Cassie smiled, amused at Dana's reaction.  "THINK ABOUT IT, DANA," she teased as Dana walked out of the door.

"So Charles, do you really think you should go to Utah without me?" Cassie asked when Dana was gone.

"Well I really want all of us to go but your health is more important and your heart is with the family.  You need to be with them for awhile." said Charles.

"That's all I want to hear Charles." said Cassie.

"I just want you to get well. I trust you." said Charles.

"Really?" asked Cassie.

"Really anyway I am trying to change." said Charles.

"I believe you." said Cassie.

"I better go and check on mom.  I'll be back." said Charles as he kissed Cassie.

Cassie was thinking about her miscarriage and Robin almost being the father of her baby.  Meanwhile back at the Heights Nate, Lizzie, Jeron arrived at the rollorrink.

When they got out, Nate went to the back of the car and took a pair of black rollerskates out of the trunk.  Lizzie and Jeron were both surprised.

"Nate,YOU have your OWN skates???" Lizzie asked, amazed.

"AND?  What if I do?" he asked a bit insulted.

"I just never thought you were that into it is all," she explained.

"Just wait til we get inside.  I'm gonna dust you both," he said confidently as he slung the skates over his shoulder and slammed the trunk shut.

"Nate, is that a threat or a promise?" Jeron challenged as they walked up to the window to pay their admission.

"Neither one.  It's a FACT," Nate replied.  "Now go rent your skates and meet me by the lockers," he told them as he walked away.

Lizzie and Jeron looked at each other in disbelief.

"I didn't know he had it in him," Lizzie finally admitted.

"I don't care what Nate says.  I bet I'm the best skater, Lizzie," Jeron bragged, "and I'm gonna teach you EVERYTHING I know," he said with a grin.

The two rented their skates and joined Nate by the lockers.  By the time they caught up to him, he had already changed out of his sneakers into his skates and was warming up on the side of the rink.

"Hurry up you two!" he yelled over the music.

"Don't wait on us, yo!  Three's a crowd! Go 'head and skate!" Jeron yelled back.

"I thought he was just coming to keep an eye on us," Lizzie said as she laced up her skates.

"Tell me about it!  Does he REALLY think we want to skate with him?" Jeron laughed.

"Let's go to the snack bar until he wears himself out," Lizzie suggested.  "We can skate later."

"Good idea," Jeron agreed as they headed for the concession stand.

When Lizzie and Jeron was ordering their food at the concession stand they ran into Devin.

"Devin?" surprised Lizzie

"Devin." shocked Jeron.

"Lizard I'm surprised to see you here." excited Devin.

"Devin what are you doing here?" surprised Lizzie.

"For the same you two are here.  Wait a minute you two aren't on a date or anything?" asked Devin curiousity.

"Of course not.  We're just hanging out." said Lizzie.

Jeron was shocked at Lizzie answered.

"Sup Jeron." said Devin.

"Nothing much! Nice skates man." said Jeron as he tries to control his jealousy.

"Thanks my dad got them for me.  I want to look fly.  Hey Lizzie since you and Jeron are just hanging out.  Let me show you some pointers." said Devin.

"Thanks but Jeron is going to show." Then Devin interupted "I insist Lizard let me show you how it's done." Then Devin took Lizzie by the hand and started skating.

Jeron stood behind the railing and watched Devin show off for Lizzie in the middle of the rink.  He hated the fact that Lizzie actually look impressed with Devin's moves.  Just when he was about to take off and go out on the floor himself to show Devin up, he felt a hand on his shoulder and heard someone say:

"Hey.  Remember me?"

Jeron turned and saw the pretty face with the curly hair and did remember her from the video arcade. 

"Yeah, yeah......Kenya is it?" he asked.

"KENDRA," she corrected him.

"Beautiful name for a beautiful girl," he replied smiling. 

"Thanks," she said smiling back.

He held his hand out, hoping she'd take it and she did.  "Let's skate," he said as he gently pulled her out on the floor.

As they skated together, side by side, Jeron checked Kendra out from head to toe and liked what he saw--even more than Lizzie.  He decided he wanted to get closer and turned to face her, skating backwards with his hands around her waist.

"You're pretty good," she commended him as she put her hands around the back of his neck.

"WE'RE GOOD," he corrected her.  "And in case you forgot, my name's Jeron."

She laughed, because she had forgotten.  "My bad," she admitted.  "But I won't forget again," she added.

"Who'd you come with?" he asked.

"My brother," she replied.  "He's the deejay up in the booth," she pointed.

"He's dope."

"I know.  Who'd you come with?" she asked.

"My.................. brother and................sister," he hesitated.

"Hmmmmmm......why don't I believe that?" she asked with a mischevious smile.

"Half brother and step sister--better?" he clarified.

"Okay, I'll buy that!" she laughed.  "As long as you didn't come with your girlfriend.  I don't want no drama--not today."

Jeron looked over and saw Lizzie and Devin laughing as Devin tried to keep Lizzie on her feet.

"Don't want none, don't start none, won't be none," he advised as he held her waist a little tighter.

Kendra smiled.  "I hear that, Jeron," she agreed as she put her face close to his and closed her eyes.

Meanwhile back at the hospital in San Diego Cassie try to call Robin to tell him what happened but he didn't answered.

"Hmm this isn't like him to not to pick up.  He's probably on his way back to Sea School." Cassie thought to herself.

"I have to convince Robin that he is making a big mistake by marrying Lulu and I need to tell him about my miscariage." she thought to herself.

Later on Charles was at the gunshot looking for a gun.

"Looking for something boy?" asked the owner.

Charles was just about to point to a revolver that caught his eye when his cell phone started to ring and vibrate. 

He looked at it and when he saw that Jennifer Sutton was calling him he immediately excused himself and stepped away from the counter so that he could talk privately to Cassie's mother.

"Mrs. Sutton?"

"Charles, how are you?" Jenn asked.

"I'm fine.  I guess you know I've been out of the hospital for a couple of days," he replied.

"Yes and I'm so sorry I didn't get a chance to speak with you until now," she apologized, "but I've been getting reports from Cassie and my mother."

"Well things have changed, Mrs. Sutton and now you'll be getting reports from your mother and me about Cassie," he explained sadly.

"Charles I know.  That's why I'm calling.  I spoke with my parents earlier and they told me everything that happened the other night," Jenn informed him.

"And about Cassie too?"

"Yes, of course.  But that's why I'm calling, Charles. Are you SURE Cassie had a fibroid tumor that ruptured?" Jenn asked in a very serious tone of voice.

"Oh, yeah, I'm sure, Mrs. Sutton.  She was bleeding and in a lot of pain, and she said that was the reason," Charles replied.

"Charles, I'm VERY aware of Cassie's medical history, being her mother AND an RN, and Cassie NEVER had any fibroid tumors," Jenn said.

"Sooooooooo......she was misdiagnosed?" he asked a bit confused.

Jenn almost told Charles she suspected Cassie was lying, but stopped herself. 

"Yes, Charles, I think she was misdiagnosed," she lied instead.

"So what should we do?" Charles asked.

"I'm gonna call the attending physician at the hospital, Charles.  You don't have to do anything except take good care of my daughter and the twins.  Promise me that?" Jenn asked.

"I promise," he replied.  "And thanks for your help, Mrs. Sutton."

After his conversation with Cassie's mom, Charles felt guilty about being in the gun shop and left without making a purchase.

Meanwhile at the airport Monica and RObin was waiting for the plane to arrived.  Robin was shaking nervously as he was really frighten to get on a plane.

"Sweetie I'll be right back alright." said Monica.

"Sure mom." said Robin.

Monica went to the airline stewardist(sp) and told him about Robin's problem.  And she had a plan to get safely to back to Sea School.  She saw an old episode on the A Team when B.A. (Mr. T) was afraid to fly so they drugged him so they through the trip.  She gave them sleeping pills to put in Robin's drink as soon as he take it he will fall asleep.  They all went along with the plan.

Monica return and sat with Robin.

"Mom what's going on?" asked Robin.

"Everything's going according to schedule, Robin, not to worry.  The plane will be loading any minute," Monica assured him.

"I don't know if I can go through with this, Mom," he admitted.

"You can do it, honey.  There's nothing to it, honestly," Monica encouraged him.

"I feel like such a loser....."

"Why?  Because I decided to go along for the flight and keep you company?"

"Yeah," he replied.

"Robin, you went through a very traumatic experience--I understand.  You're not a LOSER just because you need some moral support.  And that's what mothers are for--to give moral support when needed.  We've got the money, so it's no problem for me to ride with you and then catch a flight back home," she assured him.

Soon, the plane arrived and all of the passengers got on board.  Robin and Monica found their seats and got settled.  The captain made his announcement, the plane took off and soon they were in the air.  The flight attendant demonstrated what to do in an emergency, and as she was finishing up her demonstration, she recognized Robin.

Robin could tell from the expression on her face that she was about to blow his cover, so he motioned to her not to make a big deal, but it was too late.

"Oh my goodness!  Ladies and Gentlemen, we have the honor of having Robin Morgan onboard with us!" she said, pointing Robin out to everyone.

"Who's Robin Morgan?" some of the passengers were saying to one another.

"He's the recipient of the Safe Skies Award!  He saved a passenger's life in a recent plane crash!" she replied.

"Jesus Christ!  Do something, Mom......" Robin moaned as he slumped down, embarrassed in his seat.\

"Don't worry, honey," Monica consoled him.   "I'll be right back."

Monica got up and whispered something into the flight attendant's ear, and the two of them went to the back of the plane where they made use of the sleeping pills Monica had in her pocket.  Soon after, the flight attendant returned with a cup of herb tea for Robin.

"Here you go, Robin," she said handing it to him.

"What's this?  I didn't ask for any tea," he told her.

"I know, but it's my way of apologizing for putting you on the spot like that.  I didn't think before I reacted and I'm sorry if I embarrassed you."

"Thanks, but I'm really not in the mood for any tea.  You may think I'm a hero, but I'm not gonna front--I'm mad scared right now and I can't keep anything down," he confided.

"This will settle your stomach--trust me," she replied with a pretty smile.

He looked at her unconvinced, but she nodded and just kept smiling.  "Go ahead, you'll see..." she urged.

Reluctantly he sipped some of the tea.  "Mmmm it's pretty good," he acknowledged.

"It's a special blend.  Drink it all," she said as she stood and watched him until he finished.

"Aaaaah.......all finished," he said as he handed her the empty cup back.  "Thanks!"

"Don't mention it," she said as she walked away.

Soon Monica returned and sat next to Robin.

"I gave that flight attendant a piece of my mind," she told her son.  "Did she apologize?"

"Yep!  Sure did.  She even gave me some special tea as a peace offering.  It was delicious," he replied.

"That's nice, dear," Monica said with a smile as she patted Robin on the top of the head.

Then a couple of kids came up to Robin.

"Excuse me can we have your autograph?" asked the children.

"Robin be nice." warned Monica.

"Not to worry I'll never mouth off to a couple of children. Sure I will I'll sign.  Where are you kids from?" asked Robin.

"California." said the children.

"Hey I from California.  Maybe next time I come home to visit I'll see you two." said Robin.

"Okay thank you." said satisfied children.

"Wow the price of fame." laughed Robin.

"Now doesn't that make you feel good?" asked Monica.

"Yeah but I'm feeling really sleep." said Robin as he begin to yawn.

As soon the plane took off Robin fell fast asleep.  Monica gave him a blanket and kiss his forehead.  Meanwhile back at home in Lincoln Heights Jenn decide to talk with Eddie about Cassie.

She found Eddie in the bedroom getting dressed.

"Going somewhere?" she asked as she stepped inside the room and closed the door behind her.

"I thought I'd go over and see how the renovation work is coming along at our house," he replied, pulling his shirt over his head.

Jenn sighed and sat on the bed, looking down.  "Eddie, before you go, we need to have a serious talk."

Eddie sighed too.  "Let me gues......Tay."

"No, Eddie.  You and Tay went fishing and that was great--thank you very much.  But we need to talk about Cassie."

Eddie looked puzzled.  "Cassie?"

Jenn nodded and patted the empty space next to her on the bed.  "Sit down, will you?"

Eddie sat.  "What about Cassie?" he asked.

"My parents called me last night.  It seems there was a big argument at their house and things got out of hand and one thing led to another and Cassie, Charles, Marla and the twins all left in the middle of the night, headed for Utah."

"Say WHAT????"

"Hold on, Eddie--there's more," she warned him.

"You didn't mention Dana," he interrupted.

"That's because this isn't ABOUT DANA," Jenn snapped, rolling her eyes.  "ANYWAY.......it seems they didn't get very far before Cassie started to get sick and asked to be taken to the ER.  She was having bad stomach cramps and they say she was bleeding heavily."

"Our daughter was in the ER in San Diego and we're just now finding out about it??!!" Eddie exploded.

"Because MY PARENTS didn't know about it right away, Eddie!  Marla was so frazzled that she forgot to call DANA or ANYBODY for that matter and let them know anything.  And.....well.......you know how Charles is about Cassie!  He was probably even more of a basket case than his mother!"

"So how is Cassie and is she still in the hospital?" Eddie demanded.

"They say she had a fibroid tumor and it ruptured and she's doing okay now, but she's still in the hospital."

"Thank God!  First Charles, then Robin, now Cassie--all three in the hospital!  UNBELIEVABLE!"

"I'm not done, Eddie," Jenn continued.

"Jesus Christ, Jenn!  There's MORE??"

"I think there is, Eddie.  Reason being, I know my daughter very well.  I know her medical history.  And I know she hasn't had any issues with fibroid tumors."

"I'm not following you, Jenn," he replied.

"Eddie, from what I was told and from what I know about Cassie's health, I think our daughter was pregnant and suffered a miscarriage and told Charles the fibroid tumor story to cover herself."

"Jenn?"

"Yes Eddie?"

"You are CRAZY," he said as he got up from the bed and continued to get dressed.

"Eddie I'm serious!" said Jenn.

"I think you been at the clinic way too long." said Eddie.

"I know it sounds crazy but I think Cassie got pregnant again and she keeping it from us." said Jenn.

"Look we spoke to our children before about keeping secrets from us.  I don't Cassie would do something this crazy." said Eddie.

"Eddie I know my daughter." said Jenn.

"So do I and I think you are overreacting and you need some rest.  Now if you excuse me I have to see about our house so we can finally move back in again." said Eddie as he left.

Jenn was annoyed and frustrated with Eddie.  Meanwhile back at the rollor rink Lizzie and Devin was enjoying themselves skating then they both relax.

"That was so much fun." said Lizzie.

"Just making up for lost time.  Let get us something to drink." said Devin.

"Okay." said Lizzie.

As Devin left to get something to drink Lizzie saw Jeron skating with Kendra.  Lizzie started to get jealous.

Lizzie watched from the sidelines as Jeron and Kendra skated together during the "couples only" song.  They were nuzzling up to each other and looked just a little too comfortable as far as Lizzie was concerned. 

Just as she was about to skate out onto the floor and break the two of them apart, she felt a strong hand come down on her shoulder, stopping her from going anywhere and heard a voice:

"Hold on there, tiger!"

Lizzie looked to see who it was.

"Oh!  You!" she said surprised, having forgetten all about Nate.

He smiled.  "You can't go out there now, Lizzie---it's COUPLES ONLY."

"Oh.  Yeah......" she reluctantly agreed.

"Shouldn't YOU be out there with Jeron?" Nate asked her as the two of them watched Jeron and Kendra.

Lizzie didn't answer, and Nate nudged her.  "Lizzie!  I said shouldn't--" he began again.

"I HEARD YOU THE FIRST TIME," Lizzie snapped back before he could finish.

"Well???" he persisted, surprised at her moodiness.

"I was skating with Devin so I guess Jeron found another partner," she finally admitted.

"Where's Devin now?" Nate asked, looking around.

"He went to get us drinks."

"Come on!"  Nate said as he took Lizzie's hand, "Let's go out on the floor.  It's time for me to show Jeron some real moves."

"But I can't---" Lizzie started to panic as Nate pulled her out onto the main floor.

"Just follow me," he advised, putting her at ease as he led her towards the middle of the floor.

Soon they were slow skating to Usher.

Meanwhile back at the house, Jenn decides to call San Diego County Hospital and speak with the ER physician who took care of her daughter.

She tried to contact them but they put Jenn on hold.  Jenn waited for hours and hours.  Jenn was getting frustrated.  She finally got in contact with one of the ER physician.  Just when Jenn was going to talk to the physician the power went out in the house.  Tay came downstairs and told Jenn there was an power outage around the block.  Jenn tried to reach Eddie on her cell.  But Eddie was too busy talking to the renovators.  His phone kept ringing and ringing until Eddie finally answered.

"Yeah, Jenn, what's going on?  I'm kinda busy here," he answered in a rush.

"Well we need you HERE, Eddie.  There's no power in the neighborhood!" Jenn complained.

"Oh that's just great....." Eddie remarked, annoyed.  "Thank God it's still daylight."

"True, but I still don't like being in this big house with no electricity, Eddie.  Could you please come back now?"

"Jenn, what do you expect me to do there?  I'm no electrician."

"I know that Eddie, but you ARE my HUSBAND and Tay's father.  We're here all alone, Eddie!" Jenn whined.

"Alright, alright, I'll get there as soon as I can," he promised.

"Thanks, Babe," she said hanging up.

Tay looked at her hopeful.  "Is Dad coming home?" he asked.

"Yes, he's on his way," she assured him.

"I hope the power comes back on before our fish starts to stink!" Tay worried.

Jenn groaned, annoyed.  "Arrrghhh..... you and those FISH!!!"

Then Jenn heard Natalie upstairs crying and she and Tay ran up to get her.

Tay went to get Natalie.

"Calm down Nat! Everything is going to be alright." said Tay.

"I want Lizzie." cried Natalie.

"Lizzie gone on a date. She'll be back soon enough." said Tay a he carried Natalie downstairs.

"Tay keep an eye on Natalie and please do not open the refridgerator.  We don't want any cold air to see out." said Jenn.

"But mom I'm thirsty.  Can I atleast have a can of soda?" asked Tay.

"No you're going to drink some water." said Jenn.

"But it's have no flavor in it." whined Tay.

"Tay please don't start." said Jenn.

Tay went and got some water.  They waited for hours.  Bout time Eddie arrived home the power came back on.

"Thank God the power is back on is was about to get hot up in here." said Tay.

"Is everything alright in here?" asked Eddie.

Jenn rolled her eyes at him.  "Everything's fine now, no thanks to you!"

"Jenn, I told you I'd get here as fast as I could."

"That wasn't very fast, Eddie."

"Yeah, Dad, we were here for hours," Tay agreed.

"Do you realize how hard it is to drive when none of the traffic lights are working properly?" he asked them both.

"Oh.....is that why it took you so long?" Jenn asked more sympathetically.

"Exactly!" he answered exasperated.

"Well........thanks for coming, Eddie.  Sorry you came back for nothing," Jenn said.

"Nothing?  Since when are my wife and kids nothing?" he grinned as he gave her a hug.

"Come on, Nat, let's get outta here," Tay said as he took the little girl by the hand.

"Nooooo.....I wanna see daddy kiss mommy!" Natalie complained as she pulled her hand away.

"Well I don't!" Tay answered. "Bye!" he said leaving her with the adults in the kitchen.

Natalie giggled as she stood in the corner and watched Eddie and Jenn kiss and make up.

Meanwhile back at the rollor rink Devin return with the sodas and saw Lizzie was gone.  Then Jeron and Kendra showed up.

"Where's Lizzie?" asked Devin.

"How should I know. She was with you the whole night." said Jeron

"Just great I stuck with two large cold drinks in my hands." annoyed Devin.

"I'm sure she didn't leave you on purpose." said Jeron.

Then suddenly there was a huge crowd around the rollor rink.  Devin, Jeron and Kendra went to see what was the excitement was all about and they saw Nate and Lizzie skating to Rihanna's song Umbrella (check out the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_iQRXuAo6Eg&feature=related).  The three was shock and impress by Nate's skating skillz.

"He's not bad for an old guy." said Jeron.

"Damn he got skillz." said Devin.

"Man Tay is missing everything." said Jeron.

Back at the house, Jenn tries again to call San Diego County Hospital and finally reaches the ER physician that took care of Cassie.

"I'm sorry, Mrs. Sutton, if that's who you really are, but I'm not at liberty to discuss the patient with you over the phone.  How do I know that you're really her mother?" the doctor told her.

"Doctor, I'm a Registered Nurse myself and I'm very aware of hospital policy.  But this situation is unusual, I'm sure you'll agree.  I'm near Lincoln Heights and my underaged daughter is all the way in San Diego!"

"Mrs. Sutton, if that's who you really are, there must be someone who's acting as your daughter's guardian while she's here in San Diego.  I suggest you have that person contact me IN PERSON and I'll be happy to discuss your daughter's case in detail.  Who might that person be?" the doctor asked.

Jenn hesitated.  She would hate to have one of her parents find out from the doctor that Cassie lied about a third pregnancy and miscarriage, and since Marla had too much on her plate with Charles and the twins there was only one other option.

"I'm waiting Mrs. Sutton, if that's who you really are....."

"Would you please stop saying that!  I AM MRS. SUTTON!" Jenn snapped.

"In any event, who will be coming to see me about your daughter?  I don't have all day."

Jenn sighed.  "Dana Taylor."

"Thank you.  I'll look forward to meeting with her.  Have a nice day."

"Jenn who were you talking to?" asked Eddie.

"If you must know I was contacting the ER physician to ask about Cassie's condition." said Jenn.

"Are you still on that again?  Jenn you are wasting your time." said Eddie.

"Eddie I'm not crazy.  I am positive that Cassie got herself pregnant again and she had a miscarriage." said Jenn.

"Jenn our daughter would not hide nothing from us." said Eddie.

"Maybe you should pay more attention to your daughter then Dana's son." said Jenn.

"Jenn don't start okay." warned Eddie.

"Look the Phycsian gave me a hard enough time.  He wouldn't let me know about Cassie's condition." said Jenn.

"Jenn you should know that's against hospital policy." said Eddie.

"I know that but this is our daughter we are talking about.  I have the right to know what's going on with you.  And those idiots wouldn't believe when I told them I was Cassie's mom so I decided to have them talk to Dana." said Jenn.

"Jenn, why would you make a decision like that?" Eddie asked, baffled.

"Do you have a better suggestion?" Jenn challenged.

"Marla is practically her mother-in-law and Beverly is her flesh and blood--take your pick!" Eddie replied sarcastically.

"MARLA has TOO MUCH on her plate at the moment, Eddie.  That poor woman is gonna break if we dump something like this on her!  And MY MOTHER?  Now YOU'RE the one that's CRAZY if you think I'm gonna let MY MOTHER find out from a TOTAL STRANGER that her GRANDDAUGHTER ---"

"Jenn don't even say anymore because I don't believe it!!" Eddie interrupted her.

"Whatever Eddie!  I think Dana is more used to situations like this."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Eddie asked defensively.

"Oh come on, Eddie!  The woman is an ex-hooker for crying out loud!  I'm sure she's had a few unwanted pregnancies in her lifetime that didn't go full term.  She'll know how to deal with Cassie if--"

"Jenn!!  What did I just say?  I don't want to hear it!!" he interrupted again.

"Eddie, you've got a serious case of DENIAL and you'd better get over it fast because I'm telling you there's more to this than meets the eye!" she warned him before storming out of the room.

Eddie stood dumbfounded in the room alone, not knowing what to do or where to turn.  Before he realized what he was doing, he was on the phone dialing Dana's number.

Meanwhile in San Diego Dana was sleeping on the couch when her cell phone rang.  It was Eddie.

"Hey Eddie whatsup!!!" surprised Dana.

"Hey I heard that Cassie was in the hospital." said Eddie.

"Yeah it's a long story.  But Cassie has fibroid tumors but she's doing okay now." said Dana.

"I'm glad to hear that.  I just wish Jenn would stop breeding into something more than it already is." said Eddie.

"What do you mean?" asked Dana.

"Jenn has some crazy idea that Cassie got herself pregnant again and miscarried her baby." said Eddie.

"What that's ridiculous.  We would've known by now if Cassie was pregnant." said Dana.

"That's what I'm saying.  Then she have the nerve to call the hospital to asked about her condition." said Eddie.

"Uh uh that's crossing the line.  Look I know she your wife and is concerned about her daughter but she shouldn't had gone there." said Dana.

"Well Jenn isn't convince." said Eddie.

"I'm assure you that Cassie isn't pregnant.  Otherwise one of the doctors would have tell us." said Dana.

"Is there anybody that you can talk to?" asked Eddie.

"Well there is one nurse.  Her name is Kate.  Her and Cassie seem to be tight." said Dana.

"Can you go and talk to her?" asked Eddie.

"Sure but I can't see why you two can't talk to Cassie yourself.  If you Jenn want answers she need to talk to this girl." said Dana.

"If I know Jenn, the reason she's not talking to Cassie is because she doesn't want to upset her right now---her being sick and all.  But believe me, once Cassie is strong enough, I'm sure my wife will have PLENTY to say to her," Eddie explained.

"Oh, okay, that makes sense," Dana agreed.

As they continued talking, Dana's phone beeped and she had a second call coming through.

"Eddie, hold on a minute," she told him as she switched over to the new call.  "Yes?  Hello?"

"Dana!  Hi, it's Jenn.  I need to talk to you," she said sounding desperate.

"Make it fast because I'm on the other line Jenn." said Dana.

"I need you to talk to Cassie's doctor.  About her coditions." said Jenn.

"I think I already know Cassie's condition." said Dana.

"I don't think Cassie is telling the whole truth." said Jenn.

"With all do respect I think you're overreacting." said Dana.

"What is with everyone today.  Has everyone forgotten that I'm a nurse?" snapped Jenn.

"Jenn calm down.  If it makes you feel better I will talk to the girl okay." said Dana.

"Thank you." relieved Jenn.

"Now if you excuse me I have to get back on the other line." said Dana.

"Eddie, your wife is trippin big time -- you hear me?" Dana complained as she got back to her first caller.

"Huh?"

"That was Jenn callin me Eddie!  She wants me to talk to Cassie's doctor!"

"Yeah she said something like that to me too, but I was so pissed I wasn't half paying attention," Eddie admitted.

"Well look, Eddie, things over here in San Diego are jumpin' and NOT in a good way.  I don't need this, Eddie--not now."

"I'm sorry Dana.  But you do love Cassie, and Jenn's just very concerned is all...."

"Of course I love Cassie!  And that's why I BELIEVE her, Eddie!  Cassie wouldn't do nothing low down like that!"

"Well, my wife is obviously VERY CONCERNED, so just to put her mind at ease, maybe it's not such a bad idea if you talk to Cassie's doctor and get the story straight from the horse's mouth," Eddie said as he started to change his mind.

"Oh you Suttons are TOO MUCH....." Dana sighed.  "Look, I'll go to the hospital TODAY and talk to the nurse AND the doctor if it'll get y'all off my back--satisfied?"

"Thanks Dana.  That way we can prove to Jenn once and for all that she was barking up the wrong tree."

"I'll let you know what the doctor says, Eddie.  Later."

"Dana--one more thing before you go....."

"What is it, Eddie?" Dana asked losing patience.

"Don't say anything to Marla about this just yet.  She's got enough to worry about--know what I'm sayin?"

"Yeah, I know what you're sayin, Eddie, but sounds to me like them is Jenn's words.  Since when are you so concerned about Marla of all people?" Dana asked, skeptical.

"Yeah, yeah, Jenn did say that.  And while we're on the subject, she also said not to get Beverly involved either."

"Oh brother!  So now I gotta go SNEAKIN around playing detective?" she asked, fit to be tied.

"I'm not one to bring stuff up from the past Dana, but remember that Jenn saved your son's life during the quake.  Now, she wants you to do something for her child.  Will you do it?"

"See, now you're just playin dirty, Eddie!  Okay, okay, you got me with that.  Jenn did save OUR SON'S life so I guess I owe her one!"  Dana agreed annoyed.

"That's my girl..." Eddie replied.

"What did you call me???" she asked, shocked.

Eddie cleared his throat and thought fast.  "I said thatta girl!"

"Mmmmm Hmmmmmm........" she replied suspiciously.  "On THAT note, let's say goodbye," she advised.

"I know you won't let us down, Dana."

"GOODBYE EDDIE!!!"

"Is everything alright Dana." concerned Beverly.

"I'm fine I just alittle stressed out that's all." said Dana.

"Problems at home?" asked Beverly.

"I guess you can say that." said Dana.

"Wanna talk about it?" asked Beverly.

"No I just need some rest that's all." said Dana.

"Okay I'll fix you some nice warm milk." said Beverly.

"Thanks this means alot." said Dana.

After drinking her warm milk and taking a nap, Dana was ready to keep her promise to the Suttons.  She got dressed and called a cab and soon was at the San Diego County Hospital.

"I'm looking for two people and I hope you can help me," she explained to the woman at the Information Desk.

"I'll try.  Who are you looking for?"

"A nurse named Kate, and the ER doctor who took care of my friend the other night."

"Hmmmm.........I think we can kill two birds with one stone.  EVERYONE knows Kate--she's such a sweetie!  And I'm sure Kate could help you find the doctor," the lady said with a smile.

"That was easy enough!" Dana replied, relieved.

The lady looked Kate up on her computer and wrote down the information for Dana.

"Here you go," she said handing Dana a slip of paper.  "Kate's on the 4th floor today and this is her pager number.  Just ask her about the ER doctor, okay?"

"Sure thing.  Thanks so much!" Dana said as she quickly took the paper and headed for the elevators.

When she got in the elevator, a doctor got in with her and when they made eye contact, the doctor did a double take.

"I remember you!" he said.  "You're that woman that cursed me out!' he accused.

"Say what?" Dana asked as she began to squirm a little.

"We wanted to put the Antoni patient in the Psychiatric Unit and you and her mother cursed us out and caused a scene!"

Dana through her hands up in desperation.  "Look, doc, I'm real sorry about that, okay?  We were stressin big time over Charles and just lost it is all.  But the good news is..........Charles never went to the Psych Ward and he's discharged," she said with a phony smile, hoping he'd accept her apology.

"Hmmm.......you don't say?" the doctor nodded, impressed.

Dana held out her hand to the doctor to shake.  "No hard feelings?" she asked.

He hesitated and then decided to give her a break and shook her hand.  "No hard feelings," he agreed.

The elevator stopped and Dana got off and let out a sigh of relief as she headed for the Nurses' Station to find Kate.

"Kate?" Dana calling her.

"Hey let me you're Cassie's friend Dana right?" asked Kate.

"Hey how did you know my name?" asked Dana.

"Cassie told me so much about you." said Kate.

"Well I see you and Cassie had gotten to know each other very well." said Dana.
